my

taylor.
Mccaslin,
I'm
a
principal
product
manager
here
at
gitlab,
focused
on
our
secure
stage.
I
work
with
our
static
analysis
group
and
today
I'm
going
to
give
you
a
quick
overview
of
our
13.8
plans.
So
for
this
release
we
have
two
major
user
facing
functionalities,
which
is
improving
the
non-ultimate
experience
for
all
customers
using
sas
and
secret
detection.
So
one
of
the
the
features
that
we've
been
working
on
for
a
few
releases
now
is
making
the
mr
experience
with
for
security
scans
better.
A
So
what
that'll
look
like,
basically
is
bringing
the
security
artifacts
into
the
mr
security
results,
showing
you
a
quick
overview
of
the
severity
of
findings
that
you
know
if
you
need
to
dive
into
any
of
those
reports,
so
this
is
already
being
rolled
out
to
a
number
of
users
we're
expanding
that
to
the
rest
of
our
non-ultimate
users
in
13
dot.

also
have
another
functionality
focused
on
actually
getting
secret
detection
and
sas
enabled,
and
that
is
part
of
our
security
and
compliance
page,
making
that
easier
for
you
to
to
turn
on
those
functionalities.
So
what
that'll
look
like,
basically,
is
a
configuration
screen
that
allow
you
to
quickly
turn
on
sas
with
an
mr
button
and
find
documentation
for
our
other
scan
types
available
for
non-ultimate
plans.

Finally,
we're
approaching
a
major
milestone
with
our
14.0
release.
What
we
like
to
do
is
two
or
three
releases
before
that
we
like
to
announce
our
deprecations
and
removals
ahead
of
time,
so
you
have
time
to
plan
around
those
things
in
13.8
we're
working
on
finalizing
what
those
removals
and
deprecations
will
be.
