Elasticsearch Administration UI Redesign - https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/issues/13307
Adding Mapping version to Elasticsearch Admin UI - https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/issues/14620
A
A
The
edited
group
really
started
focusing
in
on
the
administration
interface
for
elasticsearch,
and
this
is
because
we
wanted
to
introduce
a
lot
of
new
features
in
terms
of
insights
and
zero,
downtime
indexing
and
batch
sizing,
and
so
all
of
these
things
required
us
to
really
rethink
the
UI
and
how
we
were
handling
the
creation
of
indexes
to
support,
multiples
and
other
things.
So
you'll
be
able
to
take
a
look
at
this
issue
down
the
notes
below
the
video.
A
But
if
you
look
into
here,
you
can
see
the
designs
of
kind
of
what
we're
working
on
and
where
we
think
we're
going
across
the
board
here,
with
this
fish
UI
and
with
the
features
will
will
handle
so
in
twelve
five.
What
the
team
is
really
going
to
be
working
on
is
adding
a
maddening
version
to
the
index
inside
of
the
creation
phase
during
here,
and
so
what
this
allows
us
to
do
is
specify
a
mapping
that
will
be
used
for
each
index.
That's
created.
A
So
this
is
required
and
support
a
zero
downtime
indexing
and
for
our
ability
to
continue
to
roll
out
new
versions
of
the
schema
that
we're
using
in
order
to
support
various
new
optimizations
or
search
patterns
that
we
want
to
support
in
notes,
and
so
this
will
be
the
way
that
you
configure,
which
one
of
those
the
index
is
using.
So
we're
really
excited
for
this
in
12/5.
We
expect
all
of
this
new
elasticsearch
interface
tool
and,
sometime
in
twelve
six
through
twelve
seven,
depending
on
how
these
next
two
iterations
go
as
we
get
through.
A
This
work,
but
we're
really
excited
about
what
we're
doing
in
twelve
five
and
really
excited
about
the
new
UI
and
all
the
features
we're
going
to
get
out
of
it
as
we
continue
to
work
on
elasticsearch.
So
take
a
look
at
these
issues
below
leave
us
your
comments.
Leave
us
your
feedback
and
really
excited
for
12/5.
You.
