A
Hello:
everyone,
my
name,
is
sampath
ramasingha
and
I'm
the
product
manager
for
the
geo
group.
Today,
we'll
be
taking
a
look
at
the
15.2
outlook.
You
may
be
already
familiar
with
the
self-service
framework,
but
in
in
quick
summary.
The
cell
service
framework
provides
a
well-defined
interface
and
a
consistent
logic
that
can
be
used
to
replicate
and
verify
all
gitlab
data
data
types
between
geo
sites.
A
All
new
data
types
will
use
the
self-service
framework
and
we
are
busy
moving
existing
data
types
to
the
self-service
framework.
We've
already
made
progress
in
moving
a
number
of
the
the
different
data
types.
A
A
So,
just
to
dig
into
a
little
bit
more
detail
on
this
projects
and
wikis
will
be
part
of
the
effort
in
15-2.
We
may
separate
this
out
into
two
efforts
projects
quickly,
followed
by
wikis
in
order
to
deliver
projects
into
the
self-service
framework
faster
and
also
to
de-risk
by
decoupling
the
two.
A
Then
we
have
container
registry
moving
that
into
the
self-service
framework.
This
was
originally
planned
for
the
15-1
milestone.
However,
due
to
the
popularity
of
oci
images
amongst
our
customer
base
and
and
the
request
from
customers
to
support
replication
of
this
image
format,
we
had,
we
prioritized
replicating
this
in
ngo
in
15.1.
A
Geosecondary
site
support
and,
in
particular
the
secondary
secondary
sites
using
separate
urls,
was,
was
planned
for
the
15-1
milestone.
The
work
was
completed
late
in
the
milestone
and
it
may
not
make
the
cut
for
15-1.
Therefore,
this
is
to
catch
a
rollover
in
case
it
does
happen,
we're
optimistic.
We
will
make
the
15-1
milestone,
but
in
case
it
doesn't
happen,
we
will.
We
will
roll
this
up
into
the
15-2
milestone
next
up
a
couple
of
ux
research
and
improvements
on
jio.
First
of
all,
first
of
all
the
cm
scorecard
for
disaster
recovery.
A
A
Next,
a
couple
of
miscellaneous
items:
we,
while
we
were
able
to
get
oci
images
into
15
1,
there
were
some
complications
and
challenges
with
the
bill
kit
cash
image,
support
which
which
go
in
hand
in
which
go
together
somewhat,
and
we've
decided
to
split
the
effort,
ship
support
for
replication,
for
osa
images
first
and
in
fifteen
one
and
and
pick
pick
up
the
work
for
build
cache
images
in
in
this
milestone.
A
Next
catelyn
will
be
investigating
the
potential
solutions
and
level
of
effort
to
fix
an
ssh
timeout
when
proxy
push
requests,
get
push.
Requests
are
made
via
the
secondary
to
to
the
primary
javiera
will
be
working
on
finding
a
solution
for
long
file
names
when
when
which
cause
problems
with
taking
backups,
we
will
be
looking
to
truncate
those
file
names
and
updating
the
references
for
those
file
names
in
the
database,
such
that
the
backups
can
succeed
successfully
and
then.
A
Finally,
we
have
some
cosmetic
updates
to
the
admin
dashboard
on
jio
that
that
zach
will
be
working
on
in
this
milestone.
