This is the 13.5 kickoff for the monitor health group. My name is kevin chu and the group product manager for monitor and configure at gitlab I'll be walking you through the items we plan to build in 13.5.

There are two major goals for this milestone: first, we're adding improvements to the instant details page so that users have more useful information to help them streamline incident response. Second, we're building an integration wizard that enables you to potentially integrate with any alert, generating or aggregating tools.

Let me walk you through some of the details of these items.

The first item, we're adding, is a highlight bar within the instant details view. The highlight bar includes a link to the originating alert when the alert started firing and an aggregate count of alerts related to the current incident.

The highlight bar can also include an sla timer if you have configured an sla for instant response. This will let your team know when you're, in violation of your slas.

Sometimes, when gathering information on incident, it's useful to see the user comments in a timeline view, this can potentially help the responder more quick quickly grasp what is the hack? What is happening happening currently, we added this toggle to enable the viewer to toggle comments from timeline view to threaded view and back again.

And lastly, we're making searching, for instance, a little bit easier by adding tokenized search for incidents within getlab.

Now, let's talk about the integration wizard to integrate any monitoring or instant tool wikilab, our vision is that you can easily do so in three steps step one. You select the type of the alert.

Step two: you can you configure what is needed to get the integration going.

And to finalize the integration we want to enable you to test an alert so that you can see it within gitlab.

The integration wizard will be built on top of a new generic ui component called the stepper. We will be creating this component as part of 3 13.5.

You can use the stepper component to build any potential wizard experience within gitlab.

Lastly, once integrations have been created, you can see an integration list under settings under the operation. Tab from the integration list you can add new integrations edit existing ones or remove integrations you no longer need integrations, can also be enabled or disabled.
