Description

A
Hello,
I'm
tim,
I'm
the
pm
for
the
package
stage
and
today
me
katie,
and
I
would
like
to
talk
to
you
about
some
exciting
features.
We
have
planned
for
milestone,
14.6,
which
will
be
available
for
self-managed
instances
on
december
22nd.
So
the
first
issue
that
I
wanted
to
talk
about
is
actually
a
precursor
to
an
issue.
That's
coming
next
milestone,
we'll
be
expanding
the
container
registry
graphql
api
to
add,
search
and
sorting
on
tag
name.
A
A
The
next
feature
that
I
wanted
to
talk
about
is
an
improvement
to
the
conan
repository.
So
this
will
this
improvement
will
allow
you
to
publish
and
install
packages
using
only
the
name
and
version.
This
is
an
improvement
because
previously
you
had
to
use
the
name
version,
user
and
channel,
and
this
could
go
over
the
prescribed
character
limit
of
51
characters
quite
easily,
so
this
will
unblock
many
customers
out
there
that
are
using
conan
from
from
using
the
feature.
B
So
the
first
usability
improvement
that
we'd
like
to
talk
about
is
improving
the
ux
for
bulk
deleting
container
tags.
So
here
you
can
see
the
design
and
at
the
moment,
in
the
ui,
if
you
wanted
to
delete
image
tags,
you'd
need
to
do
it
one
at
a
time,
but
with
this
new
interface,
you're
able
to
do
a
multi-select
and
then
delete
the
selected
image
tags.
B
And
and
the
next
one
is
adding
a
setting
for
the
dependency
proxy
to
automatically
clear
the
cache
after
90
days,
and
I
think
there
are
designs
attached
to
this
one.
Yes,
so
yeah.
This
is
basically
adding
a
setting
in
the
settings
portion
under
the
dependency
proxy.
So
it
basically
removes
unused
items
after
90
days,
which
should
help
on
storage
space.
A
Very
cool
and
also
we're
doing
some
research
this
month.
So
if
you
would
like
to
participate,
I'm
working
on
problem
validation
for
expanding
the
dependency
proxy
user
interface.
So
what
trying
to
understand
what
data
would
be
most
useful
to
have
in
the
ui
and
katie?
Do
you
want
to
talk
through
what
you're
researching.
B
Yes,
so
I'm
working
on
package
cleanup
policies
which
is
basically
setting
rules
to
automatically
remove
unused
packages,
so
we
have
a
vision
of
where
we'd
like
to
take
this
and
would
really
like
to
do
some
solution,
validation
or
prototype
testing
with
customers.
So
if
this
is
a
feature
that
you're
interested
in
please
reach
out.
A
Great
yeah,
it's
a
lot
of
it's
pretty
cool,
to
see
some
awesome
usability
improvements
and
also
continuing
to
talk
to
customers
to
understand
their
needs
so
very
exciting.
Milestone
for
us.
Well,
great
thanks.
Everyone
cool
thanks!
Thanks
bye.
