From YouTube: GitLab 15.9 Kickoff - Package:Package Registry
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Hi
I'm
Tim
I'm,
the
PM
for
the
package
registry
group
and
today
I'm
here
to
review
some
of
the
issues
we
have
planned
for
Milestone
15.9,
the
first
one
is
one
I'm
very
excited
about.
Currently
there
is
no
way
for
you
to
kick
off
a
pipeline
when
a
package
version
has
been
updated
or
a
new
version
created,
for
instance.
So
what
we
plan
on
doing
in
159
is
adding
a
pipeline
trigger
for
package
based
events.
A
So
if
the
an
MR
is
created
for
the
source
code
of
a
package
and
it's
merged
the
it
will
automatically
kick
off
a
CI
pipeline,
so
very
exciting
new
workflow
that
we're
creating
for
verify
and
package.
A
The
next
item
is
a
usability
item.
I
want
to
highlight
so
I'll
just
hop
over
to
this
example
project
in
my
package
registry
I'm,
looking
at
a
package
here
and
I
could
see
that
there
are
seven
other
versions
of
this
particular
package,
but
right
now,
there's
no
way
for
me
to
delete
one
of
these
at
a
time.
So
this
issue
proposes
adding
the
delete
bulk
delete
functionality
to
the
other
versions
tab
in
the
package
registry
foreign.
A
This
is
a
feature
flag
for
a
feature
that
already
exists,
that
launched
in
1506,
but
we'll
be
enabling
it
for
kebab.com
in
15.9
and
I
wanted
to
just
highlight
this
feature
right
now
for
npm,
Python
and
soon
to
be
Maven.
You
can
enable
this
feature
that
will
say
if
you
try
to
install
a
package
from
your
gitlab
registry
and
it's
not
found
it
will
go
out
to
the
public
registry
and
try
and
resolve
the
package
from
there.
A
We
do
offer
support
for
Maven
self-managed
instances
can
enable
this
feature
flag
on
their
own,
but
in
159
we
plan
to
enable
it
for
gitlab.com
and
you'll.
You
should
be.
You
should
expect
that
this
will
be
available
in
your
group
settings
and
you
can
not
only
enable
the
feature
or
or
turn
it
off.
You
can
choose
to
enforce
the
same
setting
for
all
of
the
subgroups
yeah
under
that
nested
under
that
group.
A
Okay,
those
are
all
the
items
that
that
I'm
that
I
have
time
for
today.
If
you
have
any
questions,
please
hop
into
any
of
the
issues
planned
and-
and
let
us
know
thanks
look
forward
to
another
great
milestone.
