Hi,
I'm
james
heimbeck,
the
product
manager
for
the
testing
group
and
the
verify
stage
at
gitlab
today,
we'll
be
previewing
the
work
the
team
is
going
to
be
doing
in
the
upcoming
14.2
milestone
you'll
find
a
link
to
the
14.2
kickoff
page
with
links
to
the
items
we'll
be
talking
about
below
and
to
the
verify
stage
direction
page
with
discussion
of
our
future
work
in
the
comments
below
the
video.
A
You
can
always
reach
me
at
jheimbach
gitlab.com,
through
comments
on
these
issues
or
any
issue
tagged
with
group
testing
I'll,
be
sure
to
see
it.
If
you
want
to
leave
any
feedback
on
these
and
joining
me
today
is
our
newest
team
member
gina
who's
joining
us
as
a
product
designer
gina
just
joined.
I
guess
two
days
ago
now
and
has
graciously
agreed
to
jump
into
the
kickoff
video
just
to
do
introductions
so
gina.
Why
don't
you
tell
us
a
little
bit
about
yourself.
B
A
A
About
so
in
the
14-2
milestone,
the
team
is
going
to
be
focused
on
issues
around
reliability
and
performance
really
related
to
build
artifacts
and
that
build
artifact
category
that
we
just
picked
up.
A
So
in
this
milestone,
we're
going
to
be
looking
also
at
a
bug
in
the
code
quality,
mr
widget,
where
we're
not
considering
the
status
of
the
report
when
we're
making
a
comparison,
and
this
results
in
code
quality,
the
widget
showing
no
degradations
for
a
while,
and
then
the
status
eventually
being
updated
and
refreshed,
and
that's
just
really
not
a
great
experience.
It's
also
poor
discoverability,
then
for
customers
who
don't
think
they
have
any
degradations.
So
they
can't
see
on
that
changes.
A
A
The
other
build
artifact
related
issues
that
the
team
is
working
on
are
to
make
sure
that
deletions
of
expired
artifacts
are
really
happening
in
a
timely
manner.
We're
cleaning
up
some
old
expired
job
artifacts,
just
to
make
sure
that
as
you're
thinking
about
your
quota
of
artifacts,
that
that
is
actually
true
and
reflects
what
is
out
there
and
is
things
that
are
useful
for
you
and
then
the
research
that
we're
working
on
in
this
milestone
is
what
I'm
really
excited
about.
A
In
our
conversations
with
customers,
we
hear
that
they
want
a
top-level
view
or
a
high-level
view
of
the
various
test
metrics
being
generated
in
pipelines.
Things
like
how
many
tests
are
passing
and
failing.
