A
A
community
relations
group
called
for
the
first
time
so
I
get
live
our
missions
to
change
all
creative
work
from
read-only
to
read/write,
so
that
everyone
can
contribute
and
our
team's
really
working
to
support
this
mission.
We
work
with
our
community
members
to
ensure
that
they
get
the
support
and
recognition
for
their
contributions
to
get
lab.
We
consider
contributions,
things
like
code
contributions,
documentation,
blog
post,
answering
questions
on
different
forms
or
social
media
attending
organizing
or
speaking
at
meetups,
preparing
Tech,
Talks
presentations
and
demos.
A
Everything
that
you
know
goes
on
to
kind
of
raise
awareness
and
advocate
forget
lab.
We
also
support
educational
institutions
and
open
source
projects
that
want
to
host
their
work
in
deadlines.
In
practical
terms,
that
means
we're
really
like
the
relationship
managers
for
community
members
and
we
try
to
provide
them
with
resources
and
support
that
they
need
to
be
successful.
We'll
make
introductions
to
the
right
people
in
the
wider
community,
whether
that's
team
members
or
other
community
members
to
enable
their
success.
A
A
Our
code,
contributor
program
manager
and
he's
really
focused
on
lowering
the
bar
for
contributions
are
the
barrier
for
contributions,
I
should
say
and
growing
our
contributor
community
and
making
it
easier
for
those
folks
to
contribute,
and
then
we
have
Emily,
Bora
and
Georgia,
who
are
community
advocates
and
they're
the
frontlines
for
all
the
gitlab
kind
of
conversation.
That's
happening
online,
whether
it's
on
social
media,
on
forums
on
YouTube.
A
They
were
trying
to
reply
to
all
those
conversations
and
make
sure
that
people
get
the
answers
that
they
need,
and
then
you
know
we're
gonna
be
hiring
folks
to
take
over
the
open
source
and
education
programs.
But
right
now
Bor
has
been
taking
the
lead
on
the
education
program
and
David
who's.
The
director
of
community
relations,
who's
out
on
parental
leave,
has
been
handling
most
of
the
open-source
work.
So
with
that
we'll
get
to
the
questions
and
ice.
The
first
question
is
from
Sid
Sid.
You
want
to
verbalize
your
question.
A
B
C
Yeah,
so
this
is
right
for
I
mean
I,
don't
quite
understand
the
reason
for
a
drop,
especially
in
June,
but
the
number
of
em
are
submitted
for
June.
There
was
a
pretty
big
drop,
I
mean
compared
to
June
of
last
year,
I'm,
hoping
that
just
a
blip
for,
for
whatever
reason
the
number
of
that
Marzu
came
in
for
July.
It
looks
to
be
a
little
over
what
we
actually
had
last
year.
C
So
hopefully
the
prognosis
for
future
releases-
12.2,
that's
up
coming
in
and
and
and
the
following
releases
will
sort
of
get
back
to
normal,
so
but
yeah.
For
whatever
reason
there
was
a
drop
of
incoming
Amar's
that
that
was
pretty
significant
in
June,
but
so
hopefully
that
answers
your
question
said
are.
C
I'm
I'm,
looking
at
the
numbers
now,
maybe
not
quite
200
for
12,
but
we're
sort
of
at
like
around
70
range
right
now,
with
like
two
and
a
half
more
weeks
ago,.
B
A
You
know
a
lot
of
the
folks
in
marketing
have
been
really
focused
on
getting
the
agenda
together
for
those
and
so
we've
been
kind
of.
You
know:
I've
been
kind
of
holding
back
my
ass
to
get
people
to
also
review
these
applicants,
but
from
what
I've
seen
of
the
applications
it
looks
like.
We
have
a
good
group
of
folks
that
will
be
our
first
batch
of
heroes,
and
once
we,
you
know
have
that
group
reviewed
and
approved
will
certainly
add
them
to
a
public
page.
B
Cool
I
also
asked
for
the
timeline
of
the
startup
program,
but
poor
answered
and
there's
a
suggestion
for
me
like
we
asked
people
to
kind
of
directly
reach
out
to
their
product
team.
If
their
feature
suggestions,
I,
think
that's
a
great
thing
to
mention
it
as
an
option,
but
I
think
it's
also
good
to
highlight
that
all
our
feature
proposals
are
in
our
issue.
Tracker.
D
All
right
couldn't
get
my
window
up
and
to
come
off
a
mute.
Yes,
so
I'm
with
the
public
sector
team,
and
so
you
got
community
relations
folks
are
involved
with
some
of
these
public
universities
in
the
u.s.
like
a
University
of
Michigan
and
like
Kyle,
is
great.
But
are
you
all
thinking
about
what
the
delineation
of
responsibilities
is
between
what
our
sales
team
engagement,
what
these
accounts
would
be,
and
the
community
relations,
particularly
for
some
of
these
larger
universities.
A
Yeah
so
I
think
I
was
actually
filling
in
for
our
director
David
for
the
last
month
and
Borre
who's
been.
The
point.
Person
on
the
education
program
was
also
out
for
two
weeks
during
that
period,
and
so
I
got
some
exposure
to
our
education
program
firsthand
and
certainly
recognize
that
we
need
to
you
know,
do
a
better
job
because
of
the
volume
and
size
of
some
of
these
license
agreements.
I
think
you
know
David
our
director
recognized
that
and
we
actually
have
an
open
position.
A
A
You
know
certainly
working
more
closely
with
our
sales
team
to
make
sure
that
we're
handling
these
education
licenses
and
and
kind
of
accounts
as
best
we
can
so
for
now,
I,
don't
think
there's
you
know
like
any
immediate
action
to
kind
of
change,
how
we've
been
handling
that
relationship,
but
once
that
position
is
filled
I,
imagine
that
that'll
be
a
focus
for
that
person.
Okay,.
E
C
F
A
Thanks
for
the
question
Philippe,
it's
not
in
the
slide,
but
I
did
just
put
a
link
to
our
technical
evangelism
handbook
page
and
so
that
specific
reward
is
going
to
be
for
kind
of
like
our
top
heroes.
Those
will
be
folk,
that's
folks
that
are
working
with
Priyanka
who's,
our
director
of
technical
evangelism
and
her
team
to
prepare
submissions
and
presentations
for
some
of
the
bigger
conferences
and
get
lab
events,
and
so
there's
additional
detail.
A
A
Okay,
well
thanks
everyone
for
the
questions
appreciate
you
joining
the
call
today
and
if
you
have
questions
that
you
didn't
you
know,
didn't
feel
comfortable
asking
on
the
group
ball
or
just
came
to
you
kind
of
later.
If
you
look
at
slide,
222
there's
a
link
to
the
community
relations
slack
channel
and
in
there
you
can
feel
free
to
ask
us
questions
anytime.
We're
always
you
know
there
to
to
kind
of
help
our
team
and
the
wider
community.
So
thanks
everyone
for
the
time
and
well,
we'll
see
you
again
soon.
