A
A
Let's
talk
about
what
happened
in
the
jumpstack
space
since,
like
my
last
update,
I've
been
busy
writing
a
few
blog
posts.
The
first
one
is
ready
in
hopefully
going
into
review
next
week
that
one's
basically
about
the
static
gitlab
Pages
approach,
how
to
deploy
a
static
site
with
gitlab
Pages
using
the
up
and
coming
framework
Astro.
A
A
I
took
care
to
be
quite
detailed
in
the
blog
post,
going
into
the
caveats
of
gitlab
pages
and
especially
explaining
why
some
of
the
quirks
are
what
they
are.
This
is
something
that
I
think
have
that
we've
been
lacking
before
the
next
blog
post,
I'm
going
to
write
is
the
SSR
approach.
This
is
important
for
Frameworks
such
as
remix
or
svelte
kit
that
need
a
server
runtime.
A
Originally
I
wanted
to
focus
on
how
to
do
it
with
fastly,
but
that
is
currently
lacking
the
adapters
to
support
these
Frameworks
and,
while
I've
started
dabbling
with
those
adapters.
I've
realized.
It's
not
so
straightforward,
so
I've
shelved
that
effort
for
now,
instead
I'm
pivoting
back
to
an
environment
that
has
wider
support,
which
is
good
old,
cloudflare
workers,
I,
don't
need
to
create
compatibility
here.
A
A
Okay,
now
to
something
else.
This
week
the
vidconf
has
happened,
and
there
have
been
a
few
major
announcements,
such
as
smelter
kit,
release
candidate
and
Astro
content
islands,
for
example,
and
there's
been
a
couple
of
interesting
talks
about
new
Js
environments.
Again,
this
talk
happened
outside
my
time
zone,
so
I'm,
currently
catching
up
with
these
talks
as
they're
being
released.
