Hey everyone I welcome to another weekly update of a Care Management sign yeah. So a lot has happened over the last couple of weeks. uh So let's just quickly go over uh the updates that I have for you. Firstly, uh then this is almost done and we're planning to use uh gitlab or the MVC for the internal use from January 18th, and we are currently actively collecting feedback in sandbox project which Amanda has created and we're getting some great feedback points thanks everyone for uh trying out the okrs MVC in sandbox project.

uh So what am I working now, uh so we got some feedback uh that we need to have automatic roll up of progress. uh So this week, I've been focused on working on that. uh So as part of this, what we're going to do is, whenever user updates a key result, the objectives progress will be automatically calculated based on average of the direct children, and if this objective has another parent, in which case 501, even 501, also will be automatically calculated. Based on this, we are calling this concept as Roll-Ups.

Let's just try to see in action if this actually works. So currently we have 22 38 and 20.. Let me just refresh the page for some yeah, so the progress is 20.. Let us just open this key result and let's try to make this as 30, and let me just save this particular key result and I've saved this key result. Let me just close this page I'm working on this fix. Currently I cannot update this in real time. So let me just refresh the page.

This is just a front-end Problem by the way backnet is solved. So, as you can see, the progress has been changed if I go back to 50 501. Even this progress also changed earlier. It was six all right now. We also have a use case from stakeholders that we want to override the automatic progress updates. So you can actually change this progress to whatever you want and override this. So when you change this, what happens is the progress change here?

Will impact all the levels above the things, and we also show it nice note here, which clearly says this field is auto calculated based on the progress score of its direct children. You can override this value, but it will be replaced by the auto calculation anytime.

The progress score of its direct children is updated, yeah so also in this week, I've released a minor patch for system nodes to include the progress changes as well, which is also launched, and it's in production by the way and yeah here is the Mr which is currently in code review process.
