Hi
everyone-
this
is
josh,
zimmerman
your
l
d
partner
here
at
get
lab.
Thank
you
for
volunteering
to
take
part
in
the
upcoming
pilot
manager
challenge
program,
which
is
starting
next
week.
This
is
your
kickoff
video
for
the
upcoming
challenge,
we're
thrilled
that
you'll
be
joining
us
over
the
next
four
weeks.
A
A
One
in
the
spring
of
2020,
the
l
d
team
completed
a
comprehensive
learning
needs
analysis.
A
common
theme
through
our
interviews
with
varying
people
leaders,
was
the
need
for
a
manager
enablement
program
to
lead
remote
teams.
Two
gitlab
has
not
done
a
formal
management
and
leadership
enablement
program
in
the
past.
This
will
really
be
the
first
of
its
kind.
This
will
be
an
opportunity
to
iterate
on
the
program,
so
we
can
roll
one
out
organization.
Wide.

Thanks
josh
hi,
I'm
jc,
bander
learning
and
development
generalist
here
at
gitlab.
What
you
can
expect
during
the
four
weeks
of
this
program
are
monday
through
wednesday,
we'll
post
a
message
in
the
manager
challenge:
pilot
slack
channel
as
well
as
tagging
participants
in
the
days
challenge
issue
to
send
you
an
email
notification.
B
So
what
you'll
do
is
open.
The
issue
read
through
the
challenge,
prompt
and
complete
the
activities,
make
sure
to
share
your
thoughts
and
on
the
material
in
the
issue,
and
that's
how
you
receive
credit
for
the
days
challenge.
Every
thursday
we'll
come
together
as
a
group
for
a
one
hour
live
learning
session
on
the
different
challenge
topics.
These
will
be
interactive
sessions
on
a
range
of
different
topics
and
we'll
hold
two
sessions
every
thursday
to
accommodate
for
different
schedules
and
time
zones,
and
then
every
friday
we'll
send
out
a
weekly
evaluation
and
self-evaluation
exercise.
