Explanation of the difference between the basic GitLab Jira integration that's available in all editions and the Developer Panel that's only available in GitLab EE Premium and Ultimate.

Hi,
I'm
steve
grossman
a
solution
architect
in
the
united
states
with
git
lab.
Today,
I'm
going
to
share
with
you
the
differences
between
the
basic
gitlab
integration
with
jira
and
the
premium
integration
that's
available
with
a
premium
or
ultimate
get
lab
enterprise
edition
subscription
to
level
set.
Let's
review
the
basics
of
the
gitlab
integration
with
jira.
A
A
The
differences
between
the
integration
are
in
how
the
links
are
presented
to
the
user
and
how
and
when
the
links
are
created
and
how
the
integrations
are
set
up.
It's
important
to
note
that
these
integrations
are
not
mutually
exclusive
premium
and
ultimate
customers
can
have
both
integrations
operational
at
the
same
time
and
most
do
now.
Let's
take
a
look
at
the
differences
between
the
two
integrations.

A
These
values,
once
obtained,
can
be
templated
in
gitlab,
so
subsequent
projects
use
the
template,
but
this
only
works.
If
the
subsequent
jira
project
uses
the
same
transition,
ids
the
premium
integration
synchronizes,
the
links
hourly
or
on
demand
for
the
basic
integration
creates
the
link
immediately.

As
you
can
see,
we
have
links
to
the
branches
which
are
not
available
with
the
basic
integration,
as
well
as
links
to
the
commits
and
pull
requests
rather
than
showing
each
link
individually
and
making
this
page
busy,
for
example,
with
multiple
commits
the
premium
integration
consolidates
those
links
under
commits,
so
that
clicking
on
the
three
commits
link
in
the
development
panel
will
then
show
the
links
to
the
three
individual
commits
thanks
for
watching.

this
