From YouTube: Enabling Group Managed Accounts on GitLab.com
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Group
managed
accounts
is
a
feature
that
allows
you
to
enforce
separation
between
work
and
personal
accounts
or
get
lab
comm.
A
new
get
lab
account
is
created
for
each
user
through
single
sign-on,
giving
you
more
control
over
managing
that
user
in
this
video
I'll
walk
you
through,
enabling
it
for
your
group.
A
First
we'll
go
to
the
SSO
settings
for
the
group
and
configure
sam'l
silent
will
do
this
by
configuring,
the
stefka
fingerprint
and
the
IDP
URL.
The
most
important
step
is
to
sign
in
with
sam'l
as
the
group
owner.
This
will
ensure
we
can
continue
to
manage
the
group
after
enforcement
is
enabled
your
identity
provider
will
prompt
for
credentials,
and
these
will
be
used
to
sign
in
going
forward.
A
Once
we've
successfully
signed
in
as
the
group
owner
of
sam'l
and
linked
our
account,
we
can
go
back
to
the
sam'l
settings
and
enable
SSO
enforcement.
This
will
limit
users
to
signing
in
with
your
identity
provider.
Next
we
can
enable
group
managed
accounts
so
that
all
new
accounts
going
forward
will
be
managed
by
the
group.
A
Will
do
this
by
visiting
any
any
URL
and
the
group
signing
in
on
the
identity
provider
which
will
prompt
again
for
credentials
unless
you're
already
signed
in,
and
we
can
see
that
we're
still
able
to
continue
using
this
initial
account.
We
set
up
all
other
accounts
going
forward,
would
have
to
be
managed
by
the
group,
we'll
just
go
to
the
members
tab
and
we'll
verify
that
we're
still
an
owner
and
still
configured
with
several.
