A
Welcome
to
the
first
official
package
registry
team
sync
for
the
week
and
my
name
is
Carrie.
The
engineering
manager
and
I
am
excited
to
go
through
some
of
the
agenda
topics
and
introduce
the
the
team
as
part
of
the
call,
so
everyone
can
get
to
know
us
a
little
bit
better
and
see
the
faces
and
names
across
gitlab
going
forward.
A
Just
the
first
item
on
the
agenda
I
want
to
mention
is
the
weekly
update
that
is
written,
asynchronous
and
something
that
you
guys
can
check
out
each
week
and
then
going
forward.
We
did
a
great
job
last
week,
starting
to
do
our
retro
async.
Instead
of
doing
that,
synchronous
and
I
think
that
was
a
big
success
of
filling
the
comments
of
the
weekly
update.
A
So
that's
great
and
now
we're
going
to
have
a
weekly
team
sink
in
its
place,
so
good
changes
I
want
to
welcome
OS
to
the
team
so
hello
and
welcome
for
your
first
week.
It's
really
great
to
see
another
new
face
in
the
team,
we're
growing
quickly
and
then
just
as
another
piece
of
excitement.
Officially,
yesterday
David
has
been
promoted
to
staff
backend
engineer.
A
So
hooray.
That's
welcome
well
deserved
change,
and
you
have
worked
very
hard
to
achieve
that.
A
There
is
an
announcement
to
check
out
in
the
team
member
updates
if
you
want
to
see
his
through
Page
promotion
document,
which
condenses
all
of
the
great
work
David
has
done,
but
does
not
tell
the
whole
story
so
there's
much
more
accomplishments
that
weren't
able
to
be
captured
in
that
three-page
document,
so
yay
and
then
without
further
Ado
I
thought
it
would
be
fun
for
everybody
to
get
to
know
each
of
us
a
little
bit
better.
So
I
thought
we
could
all
go
around
and
answer
these
five
questions.
A
I
posted
in
the
chat,
so
I
can
go
first,
so
my
name
is,
as
I
mentioned,
Carrie
crotchel
I
started
at
gitlab
in
October
of
2022.
I
am
the
engineering
manager
for
the
package
registry
team.
A
B
B
It
was
six
months
after
the
team
was
created
and
I
worked
yeah
for
the
whole
time
in
this
package
registry
team,
I'm
located
in
Switzerland
right
in
the
center
of
Europe
and
one
fun
fact
about
me
so
I'm
into
sailing
I
passed
the
like
Swiss
sailing
license
and
yeah
I'm,
more
or
less
like
a
more
or
less
throwing
the
idea
of
getting
the
like
ocean
level
license.
B
So
yeah
we'll
see
if
I
join.
If
I
start
that
Journey
next
one
I
don't
know
Dima
you
want
to
take
over.
C
Sure
thanks,
my
name
is
I,
prefer
the
short
one
Dima
I
started
last
year
at
the
beginning
of
September,
more
or
less
about
five
months
ago,
I'm
located
in
Switzerland
I
work
as
a
senior
back-end
engineer
at
package
team,
and
one
fact
about
me-
sometimes
I
like
to
go
to
Mountains
for
really
long
time
and
get
lost
there
and
then
it's
quite
fun
to
get
back.
C
Yeah
then
I
pick
up
the
next
one
rat.
D
I
am
the
Mantis
attack
right
for
short
I
started
with
gitlab
five
weeks
ago,
January
3
this
year
I'm
a
senior
background
engineer
with
the
package
registry
team
I'm
from
Mexico,
Manila,
Philippines
and
fun
fact
about
me.
I
live
in
a
tropical
country
with
lots
of
good
diving
spots,
but
I
really
swim.
E
So
I'm
niveda
I
joined
gitlab
on
Jan.
Third,
it's
almost
going
to
be
one
month
tomorrow,
so
I
have
joined
as
an
SCT
for
the
package
registry
team.
So
it's
going
great
and
I'm
from
Chennai
India
and
one
fun
fact
about
me
is
I
love,
scuba,
diving,
but
the
one
time
that
I
tried
it.
The
ocean
was
ice
cold.
So
I
am
very
scared
to
go
again.
F
I
think
yeah
I'm
wise
I
started
this
Monday,
and
this
is
my
first
week
I'm
back
in
the
engineer
or
developer
in
the
package
registry
team,
currently
I'm
living
in
the
Netherlands,
but
I'm
originally
from
Egypt
yeah,
just
relocated
the
the
last
year
so
next
march
it
will
be
one
year
for
me
here
in
this
country.
F
G
C
A
Well,
thank
you
all
for
sharing
and
introducing
yourselves
and
also
getting
to
know
a
little
bit
more
about
each
of
us
with
our
fun
fact
that
will
conclude
our
weekly
update,
I
hope
everyone
has
a
great
week.
Thank
you.
