From YouTube: Moving GitLab Container Scanning to Free
A
I
have
an
exciting
announcement
to
make
about
our
roadmap
plans,
but
first
I
want
to
cover
our
standard
legal
disclaimer
today
I'll
be
discussing
upcoming
roadmap
plans,
which
are
presented
for
informational
purposes
only
as
all
projects
are
subject
to
change
and
delay.
Please
do
not
use
this
information
for
planning
or
purchasing
purposes,
provided
that
our
plans
do
not
change.
I'm
pleased
to
announce
that
we
intend
to
make
some
of
our
container
scanning
features
available
in
gitlab's,
free
tier
beginning
with
the
gitlab
15.0
release.
A
Gitlab's
container
scanning
uses
the
open
source
projects
of
trivia
and
gripe
so
making
this
integration
available
in
the
free
tier
is
a
great
way
for
gitlab
to
give
back
to
the
open
source
community.
Once
this
feature
does
become
available,
all
gitlab
projects
will
be
able
to
analyze
the
packages
and
their
container
images
for
vulnerabilities.
A
This
can
be
done
as
part
of
a
ci
pipeline
and
results
will
be
made
available
for
users
to
download
as
a
json
formatted
artifact
file.
You
can
read
more
about
the
details
of.
What's
moving
down
to
free
in
the
epic,
that's
linked
in
the
description
of
this
video
thanks
for
watching,
and
I
hope
you
enjoy
this
integration.
