A
Welcome
to
the
12.8
kickoffs
for
release
management
here
at
gitlab,
my
name
is
Jackie
Michel,
the
senior
product
manager
over
release
management,
and
today
we're
going
to
be
discussing
what's
coming
out
of
the
12.8
release
for
the
categories
of
gitlab
pages,
release,
orchestration
secrets,
management
and
release
governance.
Taking
a
look
at
our
direction
page,
we
have
a
handful
of
pretty
cool
features
that
will
be
made
available
in
12.8.
These
include
the
expansion
of
our
release,
governance,
offering
by
including
more
inside
of
release.
A
Evidence
will
also
be
supporting
some
popular
features
for
pages
and
delivering
a
release,
progress
view,
let's
go
ahead
and
dive
into
our
four
planning
priorities
for
12.8,
the
first
of
which
is
this
evidence
collection
for
releases
where
we're
expanding
that
snapshot.
That
was
at
the
time
of
release
creation
to
be
at
the
time
of
release
deployment.
This
issue
helps
further
the
story
of
an
auditor
coming
in
and
needing
to
see
all
the
information
that's
contained
within
your
release,
status
of
the
issues
and
the
related
details
of
your
project
and
milestone.
A
This
issue
will
also
expose
this
UI
component,
where
somebody
wants
to
click
that
link
to
view
the
JSON
file
in
the
UI
on
the
releases
page
they'll
be
able
to
do
so.
The
second
top
priority
in
12.8
is
to
deliver
the
release,
progress
view
that
was
started
in
12.7
this
view
and
the
release
page
will
help
see
the
progress
of
all
the
issues
that
are
contained
within
a
release
across
different
milestones.
