A
Welcome
to
a
quick
introduction
to
social
media
at
gitlab,
we're
going
to
learn
about
the
different
strategies
and
channels
we
work
with
and
who
to
reach
out
to.
If
you
want
to
talk
about
social
media
from
organizing
your
very
first
top
five
friends
on
myspace
all
the
way
to
yesterday
when
you
were
trying
to
figure
out
who
that
person
was,
that
requested,
you
on
linkedin
social
media
has
had
the
ability
to
impact
every
aspect
of
a
business
and
oftentimes.
It
also
has
the
ability
to
impact
every
aspect
of
our
personal
brands.
A
Twitter,
linkedin
and
facebook
are
managed
in
a
more
traditional
social
marketing
manner.
Our
new
instagram
channel
will
take
more
of
an
editorial
look
at
remote
life
and
working
at
gitlab
overall,
so
a
little
less
marketing
and
more
about
building
community
and
lastly,
our
youtube
channel
is
a
testament
to
the
core
of
gitlab,
where
everyone
can
contribute.
A
In
addition
to
our
company
brand
profiles,
we
also
have
social
landscape
channels.
All
of
these
social
channels
are
owned
and
operated
by
git
lab
as
a
company,
and
they
do
include
the
company
name
as
a
part
of
the
profile
or
page
title,
but
they
serve
specific
purposes.
For
us,
the
core
social
team
only
works
with
these
channels
as
a
partner
from
the
teams
that
manage
them
directly.
In
the
event,
we're
asked
so
we
stay
mindful
of
their
use
and
include
the
necessary
metrics
to
report
on
as
part
of
social
equity.
A
A
So
next
we
have
our
evangelist
channels,
and
it's
really
all
about
you.
These
are
not
owned
and
operated
by
the
social
media
team.
I
did
lab.
Of
course,
it's
a
place
for
you
to
promote
your
work,
your
passions
and,
of
course,
your
personality
across
all
of
your
channels
to
help
you
build
a
brand
and
at
gitlab
our
team
members
really
take
the
extra
steps
to
share
git
lab
related
news
and
causes
for
celebration.
A
Those
three
channel
types
make
up
the
get
lab
social
media
universe
and
together
we
work
with
our
advocates
technical
evangelists
communications
team
and
every
other
team
member
to
better
accomplish
a
key
goal
and
that's
to
help
make
gitlab
a
loved
brand
among
enterprise
and
open
source,
developer
communities,
remote
work
enthusiasts
and
practitioners
and
our
existing
customers
so
be
sure
to
say,
hi.
Your
social
team
is
here
to
work
together
on
fun
and
interesting
campaigns
to
try
new
things
and
to
provide
your
support
for
your
own
social
channels.
