From YouTube: Issues Analytics Speed Run
Description
Please share your experience with Issues Analytics and how we can improve it in https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/manage/general-discussion/-/issues/17264
A
Hi,
I'm
jeremy,
I'm
a
group
product
manager
here
at
get
lab.
I'm
here
today
to
talk
to
you
a
little
bit
about
a
feature
that
I
think
is
a
pretty
cool
one
as
a
product
manager
and
it
is
issue
analytics
and
I'm
right
now
we're
looking
at
the
group
on
gitlab.com.
You
can
see.
We
have
47
633
issues
open
and
that's
a
lot
and
as
a
pm
I
want
to
be
able
to
understand
kind
of
the
issues
that
matter
most
to
my
group.
A
So
I'm
going
to
go
here
under
analytics
and
I'm
going
to
go
to
the
issues
analytics
page
you
can
see
here
we
have
a
filter
bar
at
the
top
and
we
have
a
bar
chart
that
shows
us
issues
open
per
month.
We
have
a
list
of
issues
kind
of
down
here
below,
so
what
I
can
do
is
I
can
actually
just
click
on
and
define
the
label
that
matters
most
to
me
and
we'll
say:
that's
the
analytics
group
here
and
right
away.
A
A
What
I
think
is
a
cool
idea
is
being
able
to
use
these
to
keep
track
of
bugs,
so
I
can
define
here
group
analytics
and
then
just
look
at
important
bugs,
and
I
can
see
kind
of
our
bug
count
over
time
and
it
looks
like
there
was
a
spike
of
bugs
that
was
opened
in
july
and
I
can
scroll
down
to
make
sure
that
these
are
being
effectively
triaged.
So
you
can
see
that
this
one
here
was
open
three
days
ago.
A
We
have
milestones
that
are
assigned
to
many
of
these
with
weights,
but
it
looks
like
we
have
three
of
these
that
don't
have
milestones
on
them,
so
I
can
kind
of
click
into
those
and
make
sure
that
those
are
being
kind
of
triaged
appropriately.
So
this
I
see
is
like
a
low
severity
bug,
so
I
might
evaluate
that
and
backlog
that
for
future
for
the
future.
A
You
know
another
idea
that
I
that
I
that
we
could
use
this
is
to
double
click
into
issues
that
are
assigned
to
us.
So
while
you
can
go
ahead
and
click
on
the
issues
button
in
the
upper
right
hand
corner,
you
know
you
get
a
list
of
issues
that
are
assigned
to
you
in
this
kind
of
paginated
list,
and
you
see
a
bunch
of
information
here
related
to
labels
and
milestones.
A
A
Some
of
these
issues
are
really
really
old,
and
maybe
I
should
go
ahead
and
triage
these
and
make
sure
that
they
all
get
issue
milestones
and
there's
action
kind
of
defined
for
these
before
we
kind
of
proceed
further.
So
that's
what
I
think
is
pretty
actually
pretty
cool
about
this
feature.
I'm
gonna
go
ahead
and
link
to
in
this
video
this
feedback
issues
if
you
do
kind
of
this
feedback
issue.
A
So
if
you
do
get
any
feedback
that
you'd
like
to
provide
on
this
feature
would
love
to
to
see
your
comments
there,
but
I'd
love
to
see
you
kind
of
give
this
feature
a
try
and
see
if
it's
helpful
for
you
as
a
product
manager
or
project
manager
or
someone
else
that
uses
gitlab
thanks.
