Hi everybody, my name is tanya pazitney and I'm a quality engineering manager at git lab I'm here today, as moderator of the retrospective for our recent 13.11 release, to provide you with a summary of the notes added to the retrospective by team members across r d, I'm going to share my screen to show you the slide deck great, so I will be talking through four topics: praise for the team, what went well what went wrong and how we can improve.

So as far as praise for the team, it's really important to us as part of our values, to say thanks.

A

And what went well, a few themes I'd like to highlight here are cross-functional collaboration across multiple departments and socialities initiatives like primary key migrations and geoui redesign moving more quickly than expected.

Openshift nvc support having shipped ux research projects completed and more so next up is what went wrong and the biggest themes I'd like to highlight are the continued focus of many within the organization to help with gitlab.com availability related efforts.

We also saw slowed progress due to things like data availability issues and merge request review times so next up, how can we improve the biggest theme I'd like to highlight is the efficiency gains we could see if we improve the speed at which we do merge, request, reviews and unblock deployments.
