From YouTube: GitLab 12.8 Kickoff - Defend:Threat Management
Description
We're continuing work on the First Class Vulnerabilities MVC for 12.8.
A
A
So
for
12-8
you're
going
to
see
an
old
friend,
this
is
our
standalone
vulnerability
objects
NBC,
this
one
has,
it
is
mid.
Lee
was
really
not
an
NBC
in
the
sense
that
we
we
try
to
to
get
something
small
out.
This
is
a
very
large
piece
of
functionality.
It's
both
replacing
what
we
already
have
today
for
findings
with
the
security
scans,
as
well
as
adding
additional
functionality.
A
We
have
a
feature
flag
which
is
keeping
all
of
the
work
behind
it
right
now.
So
what
we're
striving
for
is
we
need
to
make
sure
that
we're
at
least
at
parity
with
the
existing
functionality
right
now
for
the
findings
and
as
they
work
today,
so
we
actually
have
a
fair
amount
built
that
will
be
in
addition
to
what's
currently
available.
A
It's
just
hiding
my
met
feature
flag,
so
waiting
for
vulnerability
objects.
This
is
going
to
unlock
a
lot
of
capabilities
going
forward,
which
is
why
it's
a
lot
of
work
and
it's
difficult
to
release
incrementally,
because
it
is
kind
of
a
rip
replace
of
the
existing
vulnerability
management
that
we've
got
in
there
today.
A
So
we're
nearing
the
finish
line
on
this
one.
We
are
confident
that
we
will
be
able
to
fit
this
into
the
twelve
eight
milestone.
That's
what
we're
I'm
gonna
stretch
for,
and
hopefully
we
can
unlock
a
lot
of
this
value
that
we've
been
talking
about
for
the
last
couple
of
iterations,
at
least.
So
that's
what
we're
really
putting
our
focus
towards.
That's
why
it's!
The
only
thing
you
see
for
direction
items
in
12-8
for
threat
management
and
we're
really
looking
forward
to
to
getting
this
out
the
door
thanks.
