From YouTube: Pipeline Authoring vs CI Overview
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Hi,
my
name
is
jackie
porter,
I'm
the
group
manager
over
verify
and
I've
been
getting
some
questions
around
the
differences
between
pipeline
authoring
and
verify
and
continuous
integration.
So
I
am
starting
with
our
category
direction
pages
and
I
wanted
to
frame
up
where
I
perceive
the
main
differences
to
be
between
these
groups.
So
pipeline
authoring
is
very
specific
around
to
making
the
experience
of
creating
your
pipelines
super
easy.
A
This
is
a
little
different
than
the
current
direction
that
we
have
around
continuous
integration,
which
is
super
focused
on
the
experience
of
running
and
executing
a
pipeline.
So
instead
of
building
a
pipeline
and
creating
your
yaml
file,
continuous
integration
is
focused
on
one
running
your
pipeline
and
the
interactions
the
pipeline.
So
the
features
that
we're
really
diving
into
here
are
dag.
A
Inside
of
the
pipeline
authoring
vision,
we
can
see
that
ci
templates
might
look
a
little
bit
like
the
continuous
integration
experience
or
on
interactions,
but
the
vision
for
ci
templates
should
be
getting
started
with
ci
super
easily
and
creating
the
experience
to
be
authoring.
Your
yaml
file
as
low
low
friction
as
possible.
So
it's
not
really
about
how
each
of
the
keywords
interact
with
each
other
as
it
might
be
in
the
continuous
integration
space,
but
it
would
definitely
be.
How
can
you
get
started
using
ci
as
easy
as
possible?
