our
new
open
source
project
that
let
you
scale
to

billion
metrics
and
beyond
prometheus

grafana
are

de
facto
standards
for
metric
monitoring
of
modern
cloud
native
applications
and
infrastructures.

Prometheus
is
a
great
monitoring
tool
which
allows
you
to
collect
and
query
a
large
amount
of
metrics
with
a
single
server
as
an
example,
kubernetes
exports
metrics
exclusively
in
prometheus
format
for
organizations
needing
massive
scale.
We
have
launched
grafana
mimir
as
a
solution
for
extending
prometheus
with
high
availability,
horizontal
scalability,
multi-tenancy,
durable
storage
and
blazing
fast
queer
performance
over
long
periods
of
time.

mimir
is
an
open
source
distributed
time.
Series
database
for
prometheus
mirmir
does
not
replace
prometheus
just
like
cortex
or
thanos.
It
aims
to
extend
prometheus
when
using
mimir.
You
can
keep
running
prometheus
configured
to
script,
metrics
from
your
applications
and
remote
write
desk
metrics
to
mimir.
