Y'all
I
won't
I,
won't
comment
on
that.
Yet
then
I'll
so
as
I
was
hoping,
I
would
be
able
to
send
out
a
actual
report,
but
just
not
a
lot,
not
a
lot
of
activity
outside
of
the
gala.
J
Since
the
last
meeting
there
were
two
246
dollars
worth
of
contributions
that
came
in
unrestricted
contributions:
the
expenses
that
we've
had
over
the
past
six
months,
the
was
the
nine
hundred
dollar
grant
to
the
eastern
Connecticut
Garden.
We
spent
we
paid
out
one
thousand
two
hundred
and
seventy
five
dollars
for
the
local
development
and
then
another
one
thousand
one
hundred
twenty-five
dollars
for
the
website
development.
E
B
C
Okay
I
ran
a
report
through
rec
track,
so
those
are
donations
that
come
in
through
registrations
and
for
the
past
six
months
we've
brought
in
to
$88
plus
we
haven't
been
taking
registration
for
a
couple
of
months
now
so
I
think.
That's
the
reason
that
that
number
is
lower.
Then
what
would
typically,
we
would
typically
see
in
a
six
month
period.
C
A
B
Sorry,
I'm
going
in
and
out,
my
wife
is
trying
to
get
me
out
her
iPad
here,
so
we
got
the
donations
taken
care
of
sustaining
membership.
This
issue
came
up
at
the
last
meeting.
We
had
a
discussion
about
the
possibility
of
having
a
sustaining
membership
or
the
foundation
way
of
raising
some
money,
also
a
way
of
getting
more
people
actually
involved
in
some
of
our
projects.
B
J
H
H
C
You
know
I
think,
well
what
we're
we
just
today
work
on
a
draft
of
a
survey
that
we're
going
to
send
out
to
parents,
kids
that
participated
in
camp
last
year,
just
to
try
to
get
a
sense
of
you
know
what
their
expectations
are
and
what
their
plans
are,
so
that
we
can
kind
of
incorporate
that
into
our
planning.
I.
A
D
B
B
So
aside
from
summer
camp,
we
want
to
discuss
the
sustaining
membership
at
this
point
or
I,
don't
know
what
how
we
want
to
go
with
this.
B
B
Follow
the
general
or
multiple
to
generate
some
additional
income
to
get
more
people
actually
involved
with
the
foundation.
You
know
taking
some
ownership
for
it
and-
and
you
know,
as
we
did
with
the
gala
just
trying
to
broaden
our
visibility
in
the
community,
so
we
could
get
more
support
as
time
goes
by
and
be
more
of
a
benefit
to
the
community.
B
B
B
B
G
Myself,
um-hmm
well,
I
I,
would
certainly
love
and
kind
of
prefer
if
we're
gonna
be
going
into
something
like
this
to
definitely
have
Jerry,
assuming
that
he
wants
to
be
involved
in
this
and
to
be
involved
with
it
cuz.
It
wasn't
kind
of
a
giant
discussion
when
we've
been
looking
into
kind
of
what
other
nonprofits
that
are
kind
of
formed
with
the
intention
of
assisting
a
Parks
and
Recreation
program
in
some
fashion
or
another,
everybody
seemed
to
have
these
membership
programs,
but
there
are
different,
tiers
and
different
levels
of
if
you're,
say
$100
annual
donor.
G
You
may
be
part
of
an
e-newsletter.
That's
goes
out
versus,
if
you
are
say,
$1,000
annual
donor.
You
may
get
a
cap
or
something
like
that,
but
just
kind
of
figuring
out
what
those
different
tiers
would
look
like
what
those
membership
options
would
look
like,
ultimately
how
people
could
do
it
I
would
assume
through
the
website
and
then
who
would
be
kind
of
managing
that
whole
experience.
G
Those
are
just
I,
I,
believe
kind
of
last
time
that
we
had
spoken
about
this
quickly.
Those
are
kind
of
like
the
main
focus
points,
because
what
we
wanted
to
do
is
since
we've
been
able
to
kind
of
raise
more
awareness
of
the
foundation
itself
is
make
sure
that
now
we
can
really
control
the
narratives.
So
as
we're
having
conversations
with
people,
especially
individuals
who
are
interested
in
participating
with
the
foundation.
What
would
their
ultimate
experience
be
like?
G
And
that's
actually
one
of
the
things
that
I
was
hoping
to
chat
a
little
bit
about
once
we
got
to
the
gala,
because
there
has
been
some
interest
from
members
of
the
community
stemming
from
kind
of
the
gala
and
the
outreach
that
went
along
with
that
of
either
joining
the
Parks
Foundation
at
large
or
draining
subcommittee
isn't
just
kind
of
what
would
that
be
like.
So,
if
it's,
if
it's
something
that
there
is
interest
in
kind
of
creating
a
committee
to
have
those
types
of
conversations,
you.
J
J
B
C
I
think
it's
gonna
be
a
tag
team,
so
I
guess
I'll
start
with
the
numbers,
part
of
it
and
then
I'll.
Let
Jessica
talk
about
all
the
fun
stuff,
so
we
brought
in
47
hundred
dollars
in
sponsorships
from
the
silent
auction
which
most
of
those
items
were
donated.
We
brought
in
eighteen
hundred
and
forty
dollars.
C
As
you
recall,
we
were
selling
trees
and
we
so
we
brought
in
three
hundred
and
twenty
dollars
in
those
tiny
fir
trees
and
from
ticket
sales
was
brought
in
$4,600.
So
our
total
income
was
eleven
thousand
five.
Thirty
three.
On
the
expense
side,
we
spent
nine
thousand
four
sixty
two,
so
we
netted
just
about
two
thousand
dollars
from
the
gallery.
So
that's
boring
numbers
part
of
it.
I
think
Jessica
can
talk
about
that.
The
goodwill
in
the
community
and
the
awareness
that
we
raised
and
some
of
the
other
good
things
about
the
gala
Marc.
B
C
B
C
Yeah,
Paul
and
I
are
trying
to
finalize
some
of
the
numbers,
but
the
numbers
that
I
just
gave
you
our
general
numbers
and
once
we
get
a
couple
of
things
worked
out
because
we
had
money
coming
in
from
a
couple
of
different
sources.
We
just
need
to
make
sure
that
all
the
accounting
is
correct,
so
all
in
I've
been
working
on
that
and
will
continue
and
as
soon
as
we
have
something
we'll
get
that
to
you.
Thank.
G
So
I
guess
I'd
like
to
talk
about
some
of
the
successes,
some
of
the
feedback
and
some
of
the
opportunities
that
we
kind
of
found
out
for
throwing
the
gala.
So
the
first
thing
is
in
addition
to
having
to
be
a
fundraising
campaign,
which
I
would
say
obviously
only
kind
of
benefiting
2,000,
moderately
low
end
but
moderately
successful,
but
of
the
two
goals
of
one
being
to
raise
money
and
the
other
one
to
be
a
raise.
Awareness
of
the
foundation.
G
I
definitely
feel
like
with
a
community
outreach,
the
raising
awareness
we
were
able
to
just
kind
of
knock
out
of
the
park,
so
I
just
want
to
give
you
a
couple
extra
numbers
to
go
along
with
that
now.
This
is
only
from
Facebook,
so
our
primary
outreach
efforts
for
this
were
inclusive
of
social
media.
G
We
also
had
in
kind
sponsorship
campaign
a
radio
campaign
that
went
along
with
it
and
there
was
a
photo
taken
from
someone
social
media
who
is
at
the
gala
that
went
into
the
day,
but
I
haven't
been
able
to
get
ahold
of
that
link
to
be
able
to
send
out
and
share,
but
as
far
as
the
actual
event
public
event
itself
that
we
had
on
Facebook,
we
had
6.1
thousand
so
6100
people
within
a
30-mile
radius
of
zero
six.
Three
four
zero,
sir
Groton
Connecticut
that
interacted
with
the
event
itself.
Now.
G
The
important
thing
about
that
is,
we
didn't
do
any
type
of
paid
advertising
on
social
media,
so
we're
the
the
primary
of
that
kind
of
outreach
comes
from
is
social
shares.
So
it's
both
the
businesses
who,
like
we
shout
it
out
and
did
sponsorship
thanking
for
us,
but
then
also
individuals
who
are
interested
in
attending
or
did
tend,
and
while
they
were
there
took
pictures,
took
selfies
shot
out
in
information,
so
we
were
able
to
connect
with
6,100.
G
It's
like
60,
112,
I,
think
unique
individuals,
so
not
that
one
person
interacted
at
multiple
times
but
60
100,
unique
persons
just
from
Facebook,
were
able
to
interact
or
learn
something
about
the
Groton
Parks
Foundation,
even
if
it
was
just
that
hey
it
existed,
and
it's
something
to
be
aware
of
with
that.
The
thing
that
I
kind
of
thought
was
very
interesting
is
a
lot
of
what
we
talked
about
in
municipality,
especially
with
like
outreach
projects
there.
G
G
How
do
we
make
this
interesting
and
how
do
we
make
it
different
from
any
of
the
other
kind
of
nonprofit
feel
good
foundations,
especially
with
anything
to
do
with
conservation
within
the
area
and
within
our
outreach
on
social
media,
we
were
able
to
connect
with
24%
of
the
interactions
that
we
had,
where,
with
women
ages,
35
to
44
again
right
within
30
mile
radius
of
the
Groton
zip
code.
That
indicated
that
they
were
interested
in
fundraising.
G
So
that
to
me
was
a
big
kind
of
cue
love,
oh
you're,
interested
in
fundraising
and
you
are
interacting
with
the
foundation.
Those
are
some
connections
I'd
really
like
to
make.
Do
you
know
what
I
mean
so
and
that
was
just
from
Facebook.
We
did
get
some
pretty
good
social
stares
on
Instagram
as
well
as
Facebook.
G
There
was
kind
of
some
confusion
about.
Where
did
people
go,
what
times
food
being
served?
So
we've
learned
a
lot
of
like
practical
feedback
information
and
I
I
thought
was
very
helpful
for
kind
of
next
year's
gala
committees.
So
we
can
kind
of
be
thinking
a
bit
more
about
those
things.
But
a
location
change
was
really
the
big
overall
suggestion.
G
The
other
thing
that
I
thought
was
really
interesting
because
I've
been
on
a
few
committees
for
galas
and
I've,
never
heard
this,
but
was
a
gal
at
the
right
choice.
While
it
was
fun,
it
was
injured
and
people
had
a
good
time.
They
loved
that
will
Evans
came
and
played
because
he
is
kind
of
like
the
local
hometown
guy
right
with
it
being.
G
I'm
not
really
sure
how
to
say
this.
It
was
more.
Are
there
other
ways
that
we
could
other
primary
events
that
we
could
be
holding
that
we
could
use
as
fundraising
opportunities,
maybe
as
opposed
to
a
gala
or
if
we
wanted
to
continue
kind
of
with
this
tradition,
in
addition
to
the
gala,
but
one
of
the
things
was
it's
the
ground
Parks
Foundation
there
is
the
direct
correlation
with
Parks
and
Recreation
like
is
there
some
type
of
sports
tournament,
or
is
there
some
type
of
something
to
do
with
being
outside
and
in
nature?
G
Olá,
perhaps
doing
something
similar
to
an
outdoor
Beach
concert
that
continued
to
come
up
time
after
time
and
to
put
it
in
perspective,
though
I
may
be
heard
that
from
about
five
or
six
people,
so
out
of
everyone
when
I
was
talking
to
these
aren't
huge
numbers,
but
that
that
theme
kept
coming
and
then
what
was
really
exciting
was
two
women
at
the
event
and
then
I've
had
three
different
people
follow
up
with
me
so
actively
proactively,
reaching
out
to
say:
hey.
That
was
a
fun
event.
G
I
didn't
know
about
the
Granton,
Parks
Foundation
and
then
just
being
able
to
have
those
conversations
about
like
the
tercel,
tiny
own
playground
and
the
legacy
of
the
foundation
and
how
it's
connected
to
the
cop
family
park
and
just
kind
of
the
whole
overview
of
the
mission
and
what
we're
really
looking
to
accomplish
that
are
interested
in
joining
committees
or
subcommittees,
and
then
a
couple
different
people
within
kind
of
the
business
world
of
Groton
are
potentially
interested
in
finding
out
that
potentially
are
interested
finding
out.
You
know:
how
do
you
giant
join
the
board?
G
Are
there
opportunities
for
that?
So
if
anything
I
got
a
lot
more
questions
from
people,
then
negative
or
positive
feedback,
but
it
was
more
hey.
I
didn't
know
really
about
this.
How
can
I
get
involved
and
that's
where
I
got
really
excited?
Sorry,
I
kind
of
wanted
to
find
out
from
you
guys
like
what
is
your
vision
for
this
like?
Yes,
we
can
definitely
and
I
would
advocate
that
we
should
do
another
gala,
yes,
personally
and
I.
G
Guess
selfishly
I
like
to
get
dressed
up
and
it's
a
fun
time
to
get
together
with
friends
and
make
new
friends
you
know,
but
also
like
in
your
world
when
your
experience
is
like.
Are
there
other
major,
fundraising
events
that
you've
gone
to
you
or
your
children?
I've
gone
to
that
you
participated
in
that
you're
like
oh
wow.
I
could
see
that
being
more
of
a
natural
connection,
such
as
a
summer,
beach
concert
or
a
I,
don't
know
winter
skiing
trip
all
those
are
only
mountains
to
go
skiing
around
here,
but
I
kind
of
hope.
G
Let
you
talk
a
little
bit
more
on
this?
If
you
don't
mind
just
cuz
I,
don't
know
all
the
details
and
I
don't
want
to
misrepresent
anything,
but
there
was
an
organization
who
has
reached
out
that
is
looking
to
partner
and
do
a
kickball
tournament
I,
believe
that
will
benefit
the
Granton
Parks
Foundation
and
we've
also
had
Rico
vid.
So
that's
kind
of
the
one
catch
to
the
second
part
of
this:
a
local
restaurant
who
was
also
interested
in
doing
a
almost
kind
of
like
a
tip
a
cop
night
where
from
say,
6:00
p.m.
G
until
8:00
p.m.
if
you
come
in
and
order
anything
that
you
order
is
you
know,
50%
of
the
proof
or
all
of
the
proceeds
go
to
the
grad
Parks
Foundation.
But
your
server
is
celebrity
guest,
marc,
berry
or
somebody.
You
know
what
I
mean
like
one
of
those
types
of
things,
so
I
think
that
there
is
going
to
be
more
opportunities
for
us
in
the
future,
but
obviously
with
Kovan
just
kind
of
the
uncertainty
of
the
times.
I.
G
C
B
B
J
C
B
D
I,
just
I
just
want
to
say,
I,
think
you
you
and
Jessica
you
and
company
did
a
bang-up
job.
If
we,
if
we
didn't,
if
we
didn't
make
a
nickel
I,
think
the
awareness
was
huge.
You
know
I
think
you
know,
even
though
we've
been
in
an
organization
for
a
little
while
now
I
just
don't
think
the
people
out
there
know
about
it.
I
think
this
was
huge,
a
big
thing
for
us
to
do
whether
we
continue
with
the
gala
or
not
you're,
you
plant
some
seeds
about
other
types
of
activities
and
events.
D
It's
probably
good
for
discussion,
I
think
down
the
line.
Maybe
sustaining
membership
is
gonna,
make
us
more
money,
but
he
wouldn't
wouldn't
have
without
the
awareness
you're
not
going
to
get
sustaining
members.
So
I
think
this
was
was
a
great
think.
He
did
a
great
job.
I
think
people
had
fun.
I
do
I
do
agree.
That
facility
would
give
us
a
little
short
just
because
of
the
layout,
but
I
think
you
and
company
that
did
a
great
job.
I
Kudos
to
Jessica
and
Mark
and
everybody
else
for
this
event,
I'm
I'm,
sort
of
blown
away
by
the
number
of
interactions
and
then
in
the
breadth
of
our
dissemination
that
we
exist.
I,
also
wonder
if
how
we
can
take
advantage
of
that
24
percent
of
women
35
to
44,
who
want
to
fundraise
I,
was
right
off
the
bat
put
together
a
fundraising
committee,
and
you
know
if
just
a
half
dozen
people
sign
up
all
of
a
sudden.
I
I
B
I
were
actually
I
think
there
were
some
projects
that
were
tied
into
the
gala
that
you
know
we
were
thinking
about
trying
to
fund
through
the
gala
so
which
again
would
give
us
a
chance
to
create
another
committee.
You
know
project
committee
to
work
on
the
project,
I'm,
not
sure
what
the
two
thousand
dollars
will
buy
us
I
know.
B
One
of
the
projects
was
to
put
a
fence
around
the
church
and
setting
a
legacy
playground
to
make
it
a
little
more
safe
haven
for
little
kids,
so
they
don't
go
running
out
into
the
street
there,
but
so
I
think
as
we're
talking
and
we're
kind
of
formulating
some
of
our
goals
for
2020,
which
probably
should
have
been
the
next
item
on
the
agenda
rather
than
skipping
a
couple
spots.
But
so
we
will,
how
can
I
put
will
address
all
this
stuff
if
we
go
through
a
couple?
B
More
item,
no
comments,
I
mean
the
gala
was
a
great
great
program.
Those
of
us
that
were
there
enjoy
it,
and
you
know
you
couldn't
ask
for
more
effort
from
from
Jessica
and
Mark
and
Jerry
and
the
Russell
that
staff.
That
was
there.
A
lot
of
staff
was
there
and
they
were
very
helpful
and
you
know,
and
it
it
was
a
very
enjoyable
evening,
and
some
of
us
have
may
have
been
the
last
enjoyable
social
that
we've
had
the
last
three
or
four
months.
B
So
well,
let's,
let's
go
on
with
the
agenda
thanks
mark
and
Jessica
I
can
see
we're
going
to
be
rediscovered
I'm
here,
Foundation
logo.
As
Paul
pointed
out,
we
did
paper
our
logo.
It
was
actually
on
the
email
that
mark
set
out
with
the
agenda
and
the
minutes.
A
B
Logo
was
actually
at,
it
was
actually
at
the
gala,
but
it
was
also
on
the
email
that
came
out
to
you
with
the
agenda,
and
the
minutes
was
right
on
that
page.
Okay,
I
was
more
technically
as
a
student.
I
would
probably
try
to
show
you
this
evening,
but
go
back
and
read
your
email
over
or
or
I
will
send
it
and
it
Hut's
everybody
tomorrow,
but
we
do
have
one.
Yes,
okay,.
D
B
B
The
grant
is
all
again
pointed
out.
We
gave
the
Connecticut
or
the
south
eastern
Connecticut
community
garden,
Association
of
grant
to
build
a
community
garden
at
the
senior
Center,
the
sexy,
an
elevated
type
garden,
so
they
can
go
out
and
grow
things
and
don't
have
to
get
down
on
their
hands
and
knees.
Be
good
for
most
of
this
group.
B
B
B
Do
we
do
we
want
to
discuss
a
gala
right
now
or
do
we
want
to
think
about
it?
Obviously,
you
can't
put
it
on
hold
very
long,
yeah
concluding
the
gala.
We
actually
did
have
a
meeting.
Some
of
us
met
and
discuss
some
of
the
issues
that
Jessica
pointed
out
in
terms
of
location
a
little
bit
about
the
date.
B
In
myself
and
Jessica,
Jeri
and
Mark,
and
two
or
three
others,
staff
members
of
the
Parks
and
Recreation
Department
were
on
the
committee
this
year.
I
would
like
to
get
some
citizens
on
the
committee,
which
we
can
probably
do
from
some
of
those
folks
that
jessica
has
talked
with
and
I,
don't
know.
If
Andy
wants
to
do
it
again
or
not,
but
you
know
we
need
move
forward.
I
Like
my
the
the
issue
I
have
with
the
gala
is
when
it
may
well
be
that
we're
really
prevented
from
getting
together
in
large
numbers
until
everybody's
been
vaccinated,
and
it
may
be
that
that
either
happens
in
January
or
it
happens
in
June
or
July
of
next
year,
or
it
doesn't
happen
for
several
years.
A
vaccine
for
AIDS,
for
example.
So
I
don't
know
how
we
can
plan
a
gale
if
we
don't
have
some
idea
of
when
it
would
occur.
G
So
also
I'm
just
to
jump
in
here
for
a
second
one
of
the
things
that
I
have
been
trying
to
do
in
kind
of
preparation
for
the
meeting
I've
reached
out
to
a
number
of
my
friends
and
kind
of
event,
management
coordinator
colleagues,
who
are
on
various
art
of
chocolates
or
gala
committees
locally,
depending
on
kind
of
what
their
organization
is,
and
that's
kind
of.
The
big
question
that
everybody
is
thinking
about
right
now
is
one
is
the
traditional
kind
of
everybody.
G
Let's
cram
a
hundred
to
you,
know
three
hundred
people
in
a
room
over
a
few
few
hours.
Is
that
going
to
be
possible
in
the
future,
but
then
also
there's
that
perception
of
kind
of
safety
and
slowly
stepping
back
into
kind
of
larger
events.
That
I
would
hate
to
have
us
kind
of
have
the
best
intentions
of
rolling
something
major
out,
but
then
have
it
not
be
well
received,
because
there
is
still
that
underlying
fear
of
crowds
or
apprehension
of
spreading
the
sickness
or
kind
of
keeping
things
going
in
that
direction.
G
G
Don't
think
that
we're
able
to
make
plans
for
next
year's
gala
right
now
other
than
the
fact
that
if
there's
consensus
that
yes,
if
we
can,
we
would
like
to
do
one,
but
we
should
definitely
have
a
drop
dead,
stop
date
where,
if
either
we
don't
kind
of
get
the
feeling
that
it's
going
to
be
successful
or
just
if
on
like
Public
Health,
we
can't
do
one.
We
should
really
make
that
decision.
G
I'd,
say
within
the
next
couple
months
and
then
decide
well
what
other
options
do
we
have
so
kind
of
figuring
out
those
Plan
B,
C
and
D
hoping
for
a
but
having
those
other
things
lined
up
so
that
way,
if
we
have
to
go
to
them,
and
and
maybe
we
want
to
go
to
them-
anyways
if
it's
something
like
a
beach
concert
or
fun
beach
concert.
But
if
it's
something
like
that,
but
I
mean
there
is
we're
living
in
a
very
different
world
than
we
were
two
months
ago.
G
B
We
need
they
have
the
committee
look
at
it,
I
mean
there
are
endless
amount
of
virtual
fundraising
ideas.
I
just
went
to
a
workshop
there
about
a
week
ago
that
you
know
the
Rotary
clubs
are
using
now.
So
there
are
a
lot
of
ideas
and
I
think
that
should
be
one
of
the
areas
that
we
explore,
as
well
as
some
options,
so
I
guess
the
most
logical
thing
is
I
should
suggest
that
we
have
the
fundraising
committee
to
look
at
that.
Who
of
this
group
would
and
would
like
to
work
on
a
fundraising
committee.
B
I
Can
I
it's
a
lot
easier
to
do
it
virtually
than
it
is
to
show
up
I'd
like
to
add
that
other
groups
that
I'm
connected
with
are
looking
to
pivot
at
this
point,
to
see
what
can
be
done
online
in
through
social
media
right
off
the
bat?
One
of
my
questions
is:
do
we
you
know
we've
if
we've
interacted
in
one
way
or
another,
was
60
112
people
there
any
way
to
contact
those
people
and
do,
for
example,
you
know
an
annual
fund
mailing
or
you
know,
virtual
mailing
emailing.
B
Jessica,
can
you
recruit
some
of
your
interested
individuals
from
the
gala
to
possibly
join
all
of
us
in
yourself,
assuming
that
you
want
to
be
on
it
and
Mark,
whether
you
must
be
on
it
be
good?
They
have
some
citizens
involved
with
this.
If
we
can
do
that,
then
let
us
you
know
before
the
summer's
out,
but
midsummer
have
a
he
brainstorming
session
via
zoom,
so
Andy,
Helen
diamond
myself,
don't
get
terribly
bored
sitting
inside.
Hopefully
we
all
have
air
conditioning
this
summer.
H
H
G
B
Yes,
the
board
members:
there
did
not
help
the
ages,
maybe
one
or
two
of
them
did
Athena
us
of
us-
certainly
didn't
so
so
Jessica
try
to
find
us
some
volunteers
and
then
we'll
get
together
and
figure
out
a
date
and
we'll
have
we'll
have
another
zone
meeting
like.
B
D
C
B
I
I
B
B
D
We
sent
out
a
note
a
couple
of
times
and
I
did
get
a
few
responses
from
folks
and
we're
getting
ready
to
pull
the
trigger
on
that
and
Paul
can
can
probably
fill
in
the
blanks
here.
But
I
guess
the
money
went
faster
than
anybody
thought
they
had
a
ceiling
that
they
were
gonna
donate
and
our
request
got
in
later
than
that
when
all
the
money
was
gone
so
I
don't
I
can.
J
J
They
will
match
the
the
program
matches
up
to
the
first
hundred
thousand
dollars
that
members
donate
to
local
501
C
3
organizations.
Last
year
we
actually
the
board
what
we
we
matched
up
to
two
hundred
thousand
last
year.
I,
don't
know
whether
that's
gonna
be
the
case
this
year,
because
of
all
the
changes
going
on
because
of
Corona,
but
I
would
say
that,
if
we're
headed
to
order
for
any
board,
members
are
going
to
do
it
to
get
the
donate,
get
the
matching
donations
in
early
because
usually
slows
down.
J
J
I
can
put
the
date
I
can
forward
it
to
you,
it's
just
so
so
we
want
to
do.
J
It
means
what
it
means
is.
First
of
all,
you
have
to
be
a
member
of
charter
or
credit
union,
so
you
have
to
you,
have
to
have
a
captain
account
there
and
be
you
have
you
vents?
Well,
you
then
send
a
you
would
send
either
Dom
or
myself
a
the
check
made
out
to
the
ground,
Parks
Foundation,
along
with
the
matching
form
and
that
matching
for
and
then
gets
submitted
in
by
Ron
Parks
Foundation
to
Charter
Oak
and
the
char
room
cuts
us
the
matching
donation.
Oh,
can.
B
J
A
G
G
We
maybe
to
you-
and
it
come
in
this-
is
something
I'd
be
super
happy
to
help
with
and
do
an
accompanying
like
social
media
campaign,
for
that
like
and
utilizing
the
Groton,
Parks
and
Recreation,
because
there's
like
about
7,000
people
who,
like
let
make
and/or,
follow
us,
but
we
could
share
out
like
whenever
this
time
comes
up.
You
know
for
charter
remote
for
Charter
Oak
members,
if
you're
interested
in
donating
did
you
know
during
this
specific
time
frame
that
Charter
Oak
will
match
it
and
the
proceeds
will
go
to
Groton
Parks
Foundation.
They.
J
Will
give
you
the
marketing
material
to
there?
They
will
there
okay,
we
encourage
this.
So
in
other
words,
if
you
wanted
to
get
the
the
kind
of
the
logo
for
the
campaign
for
the
year,
they
will
give
you
that
information.
It's
not
something
that
they
are
discouraged.
I
mean
a
lot
of
organizations,
mail,
flyers
and
everything
obviously
do
the
social
media
postings
and
everything
like
that
and
some
I
think
nothing
I'm
saying
but
I've
seen
advertisements
in
the
day
encouraging
this.
So,
okay.
G
J
J
D
J
D
Alan
was
January,
dick
February
and
II
March
John
was
April,
ray
was
May.
Yes,
we
had
our
team
walk
in
June
and
if
we
want
to
set
a
date
for
that
again,
we
had
nobody
in
July,
Jim
was
in
August,
yes
fall,
September
Neal
was
in
October,
I
was
December
or
November.
Excuse
me
and
dick
was
December
again.
B
A
J
B
J
B
B
B
B
C
Well,
that
$2,000
could
be
seed
money
for
the
fence
project
around
the
Terra
Centennial
playground.
We
did
make
it
clear
to
the
lady
that
approached
us
that
you
know
we
weren't
just
going
to
write
a
check
for
the
whole
thing
and
that
she
would
she
would
have
to.
You
know,
work
with
us
to
do
the
fundraising
and
she
completely
understood
that
and
that
whole
discussion
took
place
prior
to
precoded,
and
we
really
haven't
been
in
touch
with
her
since
and
and
I'm
not
sure
that
now
would
be
the
time
to
to
get
some.
C
Hopefully,
as
things
open
up,
you
know
we
can
have
that
discussion,
but
I
think
having
some
seed
money
would
certainly
help
her
and
her
efforts
to
to
raise
money.
If
we
could
show
that
you
know
we've
already,
she's
already
has
2,000
or
whatever
the
board
decides
to
donate
towards
this
project
towards
I.
Think
the
entire
project
was
$15,000
and
just
to
refresh
everybody's
mind
this
lady
in
town
approached
us
I,
think
she's
adopted
six
kids
and
a
couple
of
the
kids
have
special
needs
and.
C
Say
one
of
the
symptoms,
I
guess
of
some
of
the
kids
that
she
has?
Is
they
like
to
run
and
having
a
beautiful
playground
like
Terra
Centennial?
The
problem
is,
there's
no
fence
around
it
and
if
you've
got
two
or
three
kids
that
she's,
you
know
that
she's
responsible
for
they're
trying
to
keep
an
eye
on
if
they
start
running
in
different
directions,
it
becomes
a
real
challenge,
and
so
that's
she
came
to
us
and
said
you
know
it
would
really
be
nice.
C
B
A
B
H
G
A
B
G
This
project-
oh
sorry,
the
great
thing
about
this
project
too-
is
it
really
addresses
kind
of
the
social
equity
pillar
of
the
parks,
recreation
department,
the
woman
that
mark
invention
that
came
to
present
this
to
us
had
mentioned,
and
her
and
I
talked
about
this
a
couple
times
since
then
that
the
Tour
Centennial
playground
is
actually
in
southeastern
Connecticut
for
her
parenting
group.
It's
for
specifically
for
parents
of
children
with
special
needs
that
it
is
one
of,
if
not
the
kind
of
go
to
destination,
because
it's
very
attached
to
the
park.
G
It's
a
very
easy
access
on
and
off
the
highway.
So
there
are
a
lot
of
people
from
her
kind
of
parenting.
Group
and
I
believe
that
she
had
mentioned
it
somewhere
in
my
notes,
but
I
want
to
say
it's
around
ninety
people,
or
so
they
don't
all
go
to
these
individual
events,
but
at
any
given
time
you
may
have
thirty
parents
and
kids
with
special
needs
that
show
up
right
now
to
the
park,
as
is
on
one
of
these
playdates.
G
So
if
we
can
really
identify
that
hey,
we
got
the
feedback
that
this
would
be
a
more
socially
equitable
playground
if
it
had
the
protective
barrier
around
it.
That
would
be
a
really
good
PR
piece
that
you
could
roll
out
to
the
day
the
Sun
WTNH
any
of
those
things
so
really
utilizing
kind
of,
hopefully
the
pillars
of
the
department
and
the
mission
of
the
foundation.
These
tend
to
lead
to
a
lot
of
feel-good
stories
and
and
the
media
has
been
all
about
picking
those
up
recently.
I
My
my
question,
then,
is:
what
would
the
timetable
for
this
effort
be?
It
seems
to
me
that
if
we
are
getting
together,
virtually
we
could
literally
meet
next
I.
Think
you're
sort
of
in
the
driver's
seat
Jessica
in
terms
of
trying
to
get
some
parents
together
to,
but
I
would
be
very
much
in
favor
of
trying
to
get
it
done
within
two
months.
Oh
absolutely,.
B
I
G
As
far
as
the
timetable
goes,
what
I'd
like
to
do
so
we're
kind
of
rolling
into
Thursday
my
goal
I
can
commit
to
would
be
to
have
reached
out
to
the
individuals
who
have
previously
reached
out
to
me
indicating
that
they
are
interest,
so
those
direct
persons
and
just
say
hey.
So
you
know
we
had
a
foundation
committee
or
board
meeting
and
we've
decided
to
move
forward
with
the
fundraising
committee
in
the
projects
committee.
Would
you
be
interested
in
joining
so
I'd
like
to
get
those
commitments
for
I?
G
Can
do
the
outreach
tomorrow
and
hopefully
going
for
next
week,
but
I'd
like
to
get
those
commitments
I'll
give
them
a
week
to
kind
of
roll
it
over
in
their
head,
but
they'd
say
within
the
next
two
weeks.
Have
that
executed.
List
of
here's
who
are
gonna
be
working
with?
Let's
I
can
coordinate
the
schedule
and
let's
get
our
first
zoom
meeting
on
the
books.
D
H
F
F
No
I'm
sort
of
waiting
to
see
what's
going
on
at
the
college
you're
setting
up
this
summer,
virtual
internships
at
millstone
for
my
20
students,
I,
don't
have
a
clue
how
that's
going
to
work,
we're
in
the
middle
of
that
and
then,
if
we
have
to
go
to
all
online
in
the
fall,
that's
going
to
involve
blackboard
WebEx,
whatever
I'm
a
one-person
department.
Well,.
A
F
F
Speaking
earlier
fundraisers,
the
college
Foundation
has
four
major
fundraisers
that
they
raise
money
for
scholarships.
They
have
a
gala
every
year
and
that's
on
hold
right
now
they
have
a
golf
tournament
at
the
end
of
the
summer.
That's
on
hold
in
the
early
summer.
They
have
a
breakfast
at
the
college
where
people
come
in,
they
donate
fairly
big
money
for
us
on
minimal
breakfast,
and
then
they
give
them
tours
of
the
college
band.
F
That's
been
canceled,
the
only
other
thing
they
do
is
they
have
a
major
request
for
flat
out
donations
at
the
end
of
the
year
in
November,
December
and
those
four
legs.
If
you
would
provide
all
the
money
for
the
scholarships
that
they
grant
so
going
forward,
the
only
thing
that
engine
we
have
right
now
is
the
direct
appeal,
mainly
because
no
one
knows
what's
happening
with
the
the
coronavirus
issue.
H
F
I
can't
think
they
have
done
some
brainstorming
to
look
at
other
things
and
they've
not
been
successfully
coming
up
with
stuff.
Jessica
seems
very
insightful,
but
it's
tough
to
come
up
with
new
ways.
It's
like
on
the
golf
tournament.
It
seems
like
everybody
is
offering
golf
tournaments
now:
yeah
they've,
almost
saturated
the
market.
With
that.
B
F
B
B
A
B
B
B
B
B
B
So
what
I'm
suggesting
is
we
appoint
myself
and
Neil
beginning
this
year,
2020
for
three
years,
Paul
in
21
and
dick
in
22?
Does
everybody
comfortable
with
that?
If
we
get
into
that
sequence,
that's
good!
B
Any
discussion,
the
other
five
of
you
I,
guess,
are
in
a
lifetime
situation
because
there's
nothing
in
the
cops
bylaws
that
reflects
on
that.
So
some
of
you-
people,
maybe
around
100
years
old,
think
your
dad
was
what
close
to
90
when
he
retired,
and
so
so
he
don't
need
to
appoint
officers
for
the
grant.
Parks
Foundation
Paul
is
the
treasurer
I'm,
the
president,
and
not
even
sure
who
this
is
your
assistant.
President
I
never
raised
the
secretary
I
think
those
are
the
three
officers
right.
D
B
G
Like
the
last
week
of
the
month,
which
is
Memorial
Day
week,
if
we
can
get
it
done
prior
to
that,
that
would
be
pretty
ideal.
But
what
I
can
do
is
next
week
once
I
start
hearing
back
from
the
people
that
I've
reached
out
to
if
the
consensus
is
that
everyone
wants
to
wait
until
the
first
week
of
June
or
the
second
week
of
June,
then
we'll
go
with
that,
but
otherwise
I'll
say:
let's,
let's
hit
for
shoot
for
the
week
of
the
25th,
not
Monday,
though,
because
it's
the
holiday
right.
This.
G
J
I'll
put
something
out
to
Jessica
and
Gerry.
Let
me
put
together
a
low
point
paper
on
what
we
do
with
my
Land
Conservancy
as
far
as
recognizing
member
levels
and
all
that
good
stuff,
but
yeah
I
will
take
that
on
before
the
end
of
this
month,
coordinate
with
them
or
some
type
of
meeting
to
move
that
forward.
Okay,
okay,.
C
So
anyway,
I
just
wanted
to
take
a
minute
to
bring
everybody
up
to
date
on,
what's
been
taking
out
at
the
top
property
taking
place
out
at
the
property.
So
we
continue
to
cut
brush
back
on
the
trails.
Generally,
that's
done
during
the
winter
time
that
continued
this
year
we
spent
the
staff
spent
quite
a
bit
of
time
up
in
the
on
the
white
trail
and
the
purple
trail,
which
are
up
into
the
woods
more.
C
C
It's
a
puncheon
bridge
and
we
did
it
in
a
section
if
you
go
across
the
bridge
that
was
built
a
couple
of
years
ago,
when
you
take
off
to
the
right
that
trail
actually
dropped
down,
and
there
was
a
stream
crossing
and,
like
I
said
we
put
in
a
hundred
and
fifty
feet
of
bridge.
We
said
it
kind
of
off
to
the
side
of
the
trail
just
a
little
bit.
It
doesn't
go
right
down
the
middle
and
the
reason
that
we
did,
that
is
for
to
allow
mountain
bikers
to
still
be
able
to
go
through.
C
Without
you
know,
the
bridge
as
an
obstacle,
a
number
of
capital
projects
that
cut
from
the
budget
this
year,
but
one
that
made
it
through
and
it
was
a
result
of
a
petition
where
we
had
over
300
residents
from
Braaten
signed
a
petition
that
they
would
like
water
out
at
the
Kok
property
in
the
central
bark.
So
we've
we've
got
money
to
install
a
well.
It
will
essentially
have
to
be
a
hand
pump
because
there's
no
electricity
out
there,
but
that
would
provide
water
to
the
dogs,
which,
I
think
is
a
is
a
terrific
idea.
C
Right
and
finally,
the
USDA
contacted
me
and
they
were
interested
in
doing
an
insect
study
where
they
hang
traps
from
trees,
and
they
were
actually
out
last
week
hanging
traps.
So
they're
going
to
be
finding
out
what
kinds
of
insects
are
out
in
the
woods.
Hopefully
they
won't
find
any
invasive
species,
but
they
will
send
us
a
report
once
that's
done
and
those
traps
will
be
there
for
a
better
part
of
the
summer
and
they're
going
to
have
interns
going
out
and
checking
them
and
emptying
them.
C
D
C
H
H
I
Wouldn't
have
to
be
a
fancy
sign,
it
would
be.
You
know
in
this
time
of
what
I
know
coronavirus
and
covet
19
we've
seen
the
same
thing
here:
I'm
in
Westport,
massachusetts,
Jessica
and
it's
just
unbelievable.
People
are
driving,
I
live
on
a,
but
there's
a
conservation
area
nearby
and
people
driving
all
the
time
asking.
Where
is
this
place?
