Welcome back to another episode of get outside with GPL I'm grandfather, Josh and I'm Kathleen Clifford, and today we're visiting the historic mystic annoying library located on Library Street in Mystic Connecticut.

The library was built by local sea captain elihue Spicer across from his summer home Spicer mansion.

Although Catherine Spicer did not live to see its completion, the building was finished in 1893. As you can see, the mystic no ink library was constructed using a wide variety of materials imported from other countries.

Visitors can see marble from Africa and tile mosaics from Italy, as well as stained glass and carved oak panels.

Founded in the mid 1600s mystic is a former shipbuilding port. Today, in the downtown area, is a popular destination for both tourists and locals alike.

/ the Mystic River, the village of Mystic, is part of both gratin and Stonington.

The Mystic River Baskerville bridge also known as a drawbridge opens to allow boat traffic to pass through it's a popular spot for.

Taking pictures, if you're looking for a great place to take in the scenery, walk bike, drive or paddle your way along River Road, you.

Look across the water, you might get a great shot of the whale ship, Charles W Morgan, the oldest commercial ship still in existence today.
