A
C
A
Call
the
meeting
to
order
at
5
37
I'll,
be
back
uh-oh,
where
you
going.
A
A
Okay,
thank
you
all
in
all,
in
favor
of
approving
the
minutes
of
november
8th
signify
by
saying
aye,
aye,
okay.
A
E
A
All
right,
so
then,
let's
go
quickly
right
on
to
communications,
I'm
hoping
that
bruce
shows
up,
because
I
want
him
to
talk
about
some
stuff,
but
I
did
speak
at
the
last
meeting.
I
had
been
contacted
by
patrice
granitoski
about
a
cleanup
sponsored
by
the
diddy
bag,
which
is
a
new
renewable
resource
kind
of
a
store,
low
waste
store
in
stonington
right
out
on
the
across
the
bridge.
So
I
went
and
met
with
jason
who's,
the
owner
jason
hein.
A
He
this
was
his
first
time
of
doing
this.
He
was
working
with
fowler
heffel
from
trash
talk,
rhode,
island
and
he
he
recruited
some
coast
guard
cadets
and
he
didn't
want
any
publicity
or
he
didn't
want
me
to
talk
it
up
or
anything.
A
He
just
wanted
to
do
it
once
and
see
how
it
went
so,
but
I
I
showed
up
that
day
and
walked
across
the
bridge
into
mystic
the
groton
side
of
mystic
and
picked
up
trash
there
and
came
back,
and
so
they
were
actually
weighing
it
out
and
he
gave
us
buckets.
So
you
didn't
have
to
put
the
trash
into
bags.
A
If
you
didn't
want,
and
then
he
he
sorts
it
all
out,
when
you
get
back
to
his
truck,
he
parked
right
in
front
of
the
ditty
bag,
which
is
right
across
from
the
amtrak
station
and
on
the
stonington
side
of
mystic
and
weighs
it
all
out
and
separates
it
and
everything.
So
I
think
we
had
12
to
15
cadets
and
it
just
went
very
well.
He
had
food,
he
had
snacks
coffee.
It
was
very,
very,
very,
very
nice,
but
we
didn't
need
to
do
anything
about
it
around
that
same
day.
A
If,
if
any
of
you
go
on
facebook
and
on
social
media
are
unaware
that
both
tammy
dela
cruz
and
rachel
franco
were
publicizing,
that
they
were
going
to
plant
some
bulbs
in
indian
field,
road,
which
is
the
neighborhood
where
tammy
lives.
I
guess
there
are
a
couple
of
islands
that
the
town
came
in,
I'm
not
exactly
sure
what
they
did.
A
They,
I
think
they
cut
down
some
grass,
and
I
know
it
was
mulched
very
deep
because
I
was
told
there
was
a
lot
of
mulch
and
then
they
they,
a
bunch
of
people,
went
in
there
and
tammy
and
and
rachel
rachel
being
the
only
one
who's
a
member
of
the
beautiful
actual
committee
member
beautification
committee,
and
then
some
members
of
community
went
and
planted
all
these
bulbs
that
had
been
donated
by
another
resident
in
mystic.
So
it
got.
A
I
was
talking
with
the
lean
and
it
this
was
really
great,
because
this,
like
I
didn't
the
beautification
committee,
didn't
really
need
to
do
anything
for
the
cleanup
on
the
on
the
4th
of
december
ex
and
the
beautification
committee
outside
of
rachel
didn't
really
needed
to
do
anything.
Planting
the
bulbs.
A
It's
more.
It's
more
that
a
really
nice
community
involvement
and
what
rachel
always
does
the
hashtag
grotonproud,
which
is
kind
of
part
of
what
we're
trying
to
do,
is
get
people
proud
of
their
community
and
we
don't
have
to
be
involved
in
every
single
thing
right.
We
can
be
supportive
of
it,
but
we
don't
need
the
entire
committee
and
all
the
interested
supporters
participating
in
everything,
because
there
aren't
enough
of
us
so,
but
it
was
just
like
wow.
A
A
She
did
this
on
her
own
because
she
wants
to
make
sure
people
understand
that
those
bulbs
were
planted,
specifically
with
it
in
cooperation
with
her
her
part
of
the
beautification
committee
and
citizens,
and
I
thought
okay.
This
is
exactly
how
it
starts,
so
I'm
I'm
very
pleased
so,
but
that's
that's
that
and
the
and
the
owner,
jason
heim
of
diddy
bag
may
want
to
do
one
in
the
spring.
This
was
kind
of
his
trial
run
and
I
was
before
I
did
the
minutes.
I
try
to
look.
A
I
try
to
listen
to
last.
You
know
the
previous
months
meeting
and
realized
that
I
was
supposed
to
contact
betsy
regarding
the
fort
hill
road
tree
survey.
I
spoke
with
her
about
it
at
a
meeting,
but
she
said
send
you
know
I
need
to
send
her
exactly
what
I
need,
and
I
did
that
today
I'll
admit
it
very
tired.
I
was
very
tardy,
but
I
did
send
it
to
her
today.
A
The
area
we're
looking
at
and
if
there's
been
a
survey
because
both
greg
hanover
from
public
works
and
steve
post
are
both
looking
into
this
and
it's
like.
I
don't
need
a
bunch
of
redundancy,
especially
if
we
already
know
there's
an
easement
from
or
set
back
from
the
state
or
there's
utilities
there,
and
it's
just
not
a
possibility.
Then
we
can
move
on
to
working
to
something
to
looking
at
something
else.
So
I'm
hoping
we'll
get
some
type
of
word
about.
If,
if
there's
already
some
information
on
that,
who
else
has
communications.
C
I
have
to
piggyback
on
this
indian
field.
Road
work,
the
bulb
planting.
C
Two
people
mentioned
that
they
were
really
really
appreciative
of
that
work
because
they
work
they
walk
to
the
library
all
the
time
with
their
kids,
and
this
is
just
the
idea
of
having
flowers
on
our
way
to
the
library
is
wonderful.
Okay,.
A
And
I
think
that
that's
wonderful
if
we
could
have
those
type
of
pieces
letting
people
know,
but
then
also
they
can
look
up
the
beautification
committee
and
they
can
contact
one
of
us
and
say
hey.
I
want
to
do
this,
but
we
don't
have
to
necessarily
do
it.
We
can
encourage
them
to
do
it,
and
maybe
one
of
us
who
was
the
most
interested
will
do
it
baby.
F
I
have
some
communique
about
the
fort
hill
road
tree
project
that
we're
thinking
about
going
into.
I
have
contacts
who
are
familiar
with
these
type
urban
plantings
and
they
said
that
they
would
help
us
choose
the
type
of
trees
we
should
plant
for
the
specific
site.
Once
we
get
the
approval
once
we
know
we're
going
ahead,
I
have
the
names
of
two
people.
One
is
more
nationally
known.
Another
one
is
at
connecticut
college,
so
we
have,
we
can
run
by
them.
F
You
know
what
trees
we
should
plant
there
and
they
could
even
take
a
look
at
the
site,
or
so
that's
really
good
to
have
that
in
our
back
pocket.
A
Yes,
lovely
lovely,
I
just
hope
we
can
get
some
good
news
and
then
move
forward
on
it.
Rather
I
mean,
if
there's
been
a
survey
done
it's
like.
Oh
there's,
really
nothing.
You
can
do
there,
which
or
I
don't
know,
I'm
hoping-
that's
not
what
we
hear.
But
if
the
more
information
we
gather,
then
we
can
move
forward
on
it
and,
I
think,
actually
being
a
small
devoted
committee.
A
I
think
that's,
why
we're
being
able
to
do
things
quickly
recently,
all
right?
Well,
that's
great
to
pick
trees
and-
and
there
is
actually
a
list
of-
I
don't
know
if
their
preferred
street
trees.
Do
you
know
tabitha
if
their
preferred
treats
preferred
tree.
You've
been
drinking.
G
Okay,
I
haven't
looked
at
that
list,
but
I'm
assuming
they're
the
preferred
street
trees,
but
I'd
take
a
look
at
it.
If
you
want
me
to.
A
F
We
might
twice
we
might
need
to
just
outline
what
we're
trying
to
do,
we're
trying
to
hide
views,
we're
trying
to
not
make
more
work
for
the
town.
So
we
don't
need
something.
That's
gonna,
you
know,
have
a
lot
of
leaves,
fall
or
berries,
or
something
like
that.
That's
going
to
be
more
of
a
problem,
so
there
is
like
a
a
list
and
I'm
sure
the
preferred
list
includes
all
those
factors,
but
there
are
also
native
evergreens.
F
F
F
E
A
No,
I
did
I
specifically
when
I
the
email
I
just
sent,
I
did
say
closer
to
the
area
by
johnson's
and
the
town
hall,
so
I
can
elaborate
and
let
her
know
I'm
hoping
the
survey
will
be
the
entire
area,
but
I
can
let
betsy
know
we
need
it.
F
Please
do
tell
them
about
that.
That's
where
people
have
written
all
kinds
of
petitions
about.
Is
that
area?
That's
roughly
two
or
three
streets,
wide
particular
to
all
those
streets
that
come
out.
Okay,
all
right.
A
B
Could
we
excuse
me,
could
we
ask
for
an
update?
Maybe
tabitha
knows
where
we
are
with
sign
and
so
then
we
could
know.
I
was
actually.
A
A
You
know
you
can't
miss
it.
You,
whether
you're
going
to
the
senior
center
or
go
into
the
library
it's
right
there
and
public
works
put
in
the
pad
they.
I
mean
it's
complete
that
I
I
think
they're
probably
I
know,
there's
soil
there
in
front
that
I'm!
I
can't
imagine,
I'm
assuming
it's
too
late
to
put
any
seed
down
now,
but
it's
it.
A
I
was
I'm
tickled
with
it
and
I'm
hoping
he
is
tickled
with
it
that
how
it
was
how
it
was
installed,
which
he
did
tell
me
that
that
they
were
great
from
the
town
and
also
that
it
was
actually
done.
Because
he's
been
talking
about
this
for
a
long
time
and
all
of
a
sudden,
it
happened,
and
I
think
I'm
hoping
he's
very
pleased,
and
and
so
we
will-
it
has
happened,
but
I
will
put
that
under
it
for
a
future
meeting
for
him
to
describe
it
too.
A
But
that
has
been
completed
and
then
briefly,
I
wanted
to
speak
about
the
town
hall
annex
and
acknowledge
elaine
shulman
and
her
husband,
matthew
who's,
not
even
a
member
of
the
committee,
but
a
brand
new
elected
member
of
the
board
of
education
on
the
18th
of
november
spent
quite
a
bit
of
time.
A
Reading,
because
we
got
about
half
of
a
large
area,
we
did
and
there
was
a
lot
more
weeds
and
if
you
walked,
if
you
had,
if
you
walked
out
of
the
annex
and
faced
route
215
about
from
half
of
it
up
the
hill,
it
looks
great
half
of
it
down
the
hill.
It
was
really
messy.
So
elena.
B
A
Matthew,
thank
you
so
much
for
doing
a
lot
of
weeding.
I
hope
your
backs
didn't
hurt
too
much,
there's
still
a
little
more
to
do,
but
I
think
we're
gonna
have
to
wait
to
spring
for
that.
C
I
don't
believe
so
we
if
the
weather
is
okay
and
it
could
be
done
still,
do
you
think
so,
because
it
because.
A
Well,
I
you
know,
I'm
wondering
if
the
well,
I
don't
know,
I
saw
the
guys,
the
the
doing,
leaves
and
and
picking
raking
leaves
at
aquanic
plains
park
and
cut
still
cutting
grass,
probably
one
last
time,
but
I'm
hoping
maybe
the
the
parks,
crew
grounds,
crew,
maybe
they'll
have
a
little
time
and
and
they
could
spare
a
little
bit
of
time
with
us.
C
A
I
actually
really
enjoy
doing
it
because
it's
like
you
get
it
done
is
so
satisfying
all
right.
So
let's
go
on
to
what
leanne
brought
up.
Oh.
B
Well,
this
is
a
would
be
a
new
project.
I
had
a
few
people
come
and
talk
to
me
or
they've
been
talking
to
me
as
we're
in
the
holiday
season.
B
A
That's
okay:
we
had
a
couple
of
us
had
a
little
trouble
getting
on
here.
So,
okay
you're
all
right.
So
let
me
before
I'm
gonna
backtrack,
but
before
I
backtrack,
I
wanna
know.
Leanne
are
these
actual
merchants?
Are
these
just
residents
that
you've
spoken
to
no.
A
B
Would
probably
have
to
find
out
when
we
were
going
around
to
talk
with
them,
and
I
I
really
thought
probably
the
edc
would
help
us
also
because
they're
supposed
to
be
talking
to
merchants,
we
could
probably
incorporate
together.
As
I
said,
it's
just
it's
just
something
that
we
did
before
it
was
wonderful.
Okay,.
A
B
They
have
a
business
association
in
downtown
mystic
and
they
are
the
ones
that
did
the
lights
and
got
the
lights
going.
B
That
that
group,
it's
no
longer.
A
Okay,
all
right!
Well,
I
mean
that's
that
really
does
fall
within
the
corridor.
That
I
see
is
the
area
that
we're
working
on
right
now,
which
is
the
avery
parklet
up
to
the
top
of
fort
hill
road.
I
mean
that's
the
area
I
I
did
specifically
go
into
jude's
little
diner,
which
is
right.
Now
it's
a
it's
an
ackley
building
kind
of
in
between
the
shell
and
the
the
the
bridge
market.
A
You
went
into
the
bar
yeah,
it's
right
next
to
ryan's
it's
right
next
to
ryan's
pub
and
it
it's
a
little
tiny
place,
but
the
food
was
delicious
and
they
have
really
made
it
look
so
much
nicer
there.
She
she's
put
out
a
flower
baskets
and
the
two
little
sets
on
either
side
of
the
door,
little
chairs
and
and
table-
and
it
just
looks
so
much
nicer.
A
So
I
wanted
to
go
and
give
her
some
business,
and
then
we
had
a
delicious
delicious
breakfast
there.
So
I
just
elena
and
I
went
after
we
finished
pulling
weeds
and
it
was.
It
was
very
nice.
So
it's
like,
I
would
love
to
get
meet
more
of
these
merchants
and
see
what
they
have
to
offer
and
then
we
can,
you
know
part
of
what
we're
supposed
to
be
doing
in
our
mission
statement
is
foster
economic
growth
in
groton,
so
that
kind
of,
I
believe,
would
fall
in
that
category.
Leanne
right
all.
E
A
Okay,
all
right!
Well,
let's
figure
out
yeah,
probably
would
take
a
little
while
to
get
it
off
the
ground.
Wouldn't
that.
B
B
It
doesn't
have
to
be
big.
It
just
has
to
be
solar-powered
okay.
So
if
you,
if
you
should
see
anything
like
that.
A
Well,
and
also
you
know
just
thinking
about
think
about
how
last
last
I
think
friday,
they
had
the
festival
of
lights.
I
believe
they
call
it
or
maybe
not
festival
lights,
but
they
have
the
luminaria
at
the
mystic
mystic
village,
and
it
brings
so
many
people.
A
B
Know
we
have
a
christmas
tree
in
downtown
groton
yep,
the
groton
business
association
planted
it
yeah
several
years
ago
and
then
when
and
I'm
not
saying
this
in
a
bad
way,
it
just
happened,
but
the
mystic
chamber
decided
they
wanted
to
take
over
the
gba
which
they
did
and
since
that
time
we've
not
done
any
celebrations
around
the
tree
and
I'm.
B
A
You
know
that
the
area
behind
you
know
so
there's
the
the
tree
and
then
it's
near
the
car
wash
and
then
that
horrible,
you
know
parking,
not
parking
lot,
but
the
on
the
area
that
needs
to
be
developed
there
that
shopping
mart,
which
is
a
hot
mess.
Yeah,
that's
a
hard
place
to
draw
people
to
well.
B
We
could
we
could
if
we
got
something
organized
or
something
I
mean
we
could
talk
to
joyce
reznikov,
that's
her,
that's
her
place
and
she
certainly
does
a
lot
in
mystic
in
the
old
village,
the
mystic
village,
which
of
course
she
owns
also
does
a
magnificent
job
and
he's
been
very
successful
at
it.
We
might
be
able
to
get
her
to
do
just
a
little
something
yeah.
A
B
She
just
got
her
her
windows
painted
you
know
like
they've
done
down
on
thame
street
they've,
put
pictures
in
the
windows
I
mean
it
makes
such
a
difference.
Uh-Huh
yeah,
it's
a
step
at
a
time.
If
we,
if
we
organize
something
and
then
we
talk
to
her,
I
think
she
might
be
a
little
bit
more
receptive,
okay,
okay,
but
we
probably
would
need
to
think
about.
Is
this
something
that
we'd
like
to
take
on?
B
A
Okay,
dana
did
you
want
to
say
something.
D
D
You
know
what
you
consider
you're
just
giving
another.
You
know
designation
for
it
leon.
You
know,
and
I
that's
sort
of
my
question
is:
where
do
you
really
fit
downtown
versus?
I
don't
know
commercial
hub
versus
whatever.
B
That's
that's
downtown
groton.
They
used
to
call
it
the
miracle
mile.
Now
it's
gotten
longer
now
it
pretty
much
goes
from
johnson's
hardware
up
to
like
kentucky
fried
chicken
up
in
that
area.
Now
it
is
longer
but
to
me-
and
I
think,
to
most
people-
that's
what
I
call
groton
proper,
that's
where
groton
started
and
that
is
downtown
groton.
B
A
And
it's
ripe
for
beautification,
and
it
seems
to
me
with
so
many
young
people
moving
into
the
area
we
are
missing
out
by
not
or
the
merchants
are
missing
out
by
not
marketing
their
businesses
to
all
the
young
people
who
have
come
into
the
area
because
of
eb.
So
I
think
that's
a
very
good
idea.
Leanne
and
we're
gonna
have
to
work
on
that.
B
F
A
F
Seen
clearly
and
there's
no
uniformity,
there's
no
like,
like
you,
know,
uniformity
and
groton
about
your
signs,
have
to
look
a
certain
way
or
be
presented
a
certain
way,
it's
all
mismatched
and
old,
and
that
really
probably
hurts
the
businesses
too.
And
how
can
you
light
them
up
when
they
have
terrible
signs?
I
just
don't
understand
how
the
lighting
is
not
going
to
help
necessarily
unless
they
do
something
about
their
signage.
D
B
B
B
A
Okay,
can
we
go
a
little
bit
backwards?
Bruce
the
last
thing
we
were
talking
about
communications
and
unfinished
business.
We
talked
about
the
art
installation,
but
I
want
to
hear
from
you
how
the
whole
process
went
and
we
I
personally
am
thrilled
with
the
outcome,
and
I
just
want
to
hear
your
impressions
and
feelings
about
it.
H
Well,
you
know
I
didn't
hear
anything
for
a
while,
and
I
was
figuring
on
taking
off
to
florida
last
friday.
It
was
a
week
ago,
friday
now
and
all
of
a
sudden
carol
said.
H
H
And
it
was
the
guys
from
public
works
who
just
showed
up
unannounced
and
proceeded
to
take
the
sculpture
apart,
and
so
I
ran
out
there
and
showed
him
what
what
we
needed
to
do
to
keep
it
like
intact
on
the
way
over
there.
E
H
E
H
H
So
I
I
didn't
get
a
hold
of
mark
berry,
except
after
the
fact
and
they're
supposed
to
put
a
light
on
it,
so
that
you
know
that
would
help
at
night.
I
think
uh-huh
to
draw
some
attention
not
to
the
sculpture
so
much
that
but
the
park
area
and
everything
just
make
it
look
better.
E
H
That's
got
to
happen
yet
other
than
that.
It's
pretty
much
done
it's
where
it
is,
and
everybody
that
has
talked
to
me
about
it
says
that
they
like
it
and
it's
an
enhancement
to
the
area.
So
that's
good.
I'm
pleased
with
that
was.
D
H
They
got
about
10
days
into
it
and
they
showed
up-
and
I
said
well,
okay,
we'll
just
go
ahead
and
do
it
because
you
know
working
with
the
town
on
stuff
like
this,
you
just
can't
like
dictate.
What's
going
to
happen,
they
pretty
much.
Do
it
on
their
own
terms.
E
H
But,
like
I
said
it
did
a
good
job
and,
and
mark
said
he's
going
to
make
some
sort
of
a
little
attribution
plaque
or
something
like
that
to
put
up
there
asked
me
what
I
wanted,
and
I
told
him
just
put
the
name
of
the
the
sculpture.
You
know
solstice
dance
and
my
name
on
it
that
that's
good
enough.
You
don't
have
to
do
anything
else.
E
E
H
So
it
and
when
it
was
in
my
neighborhood,
we
used
to
actually
have
some
solstice
events
around
that
uh-huh.
That
might
be
something
that
perhaps
we
could
think
of
doing
you
know
for
the
town.
I
don't
know
exactly
what,
but
that
might
might
work.
E
H
Well,
what
we
did
was
we
just
had
a
a
gathering
of
people,
mostly
neighbors,
and
we
read
some
things
that
were
appropriate
to
the
solstice,
some
kind
of
prayers,
not
not
the
kind
of
prayer
you
would
read
in
a
church
necessarily
but
a
more
general
thing
to
the
earth
so
something
that
had
that
kind
of
a
connotation.
B
H
Kind
of
a
nice
thing
that
that
everybody
could
probably
enjoy
because
we're
all
kind
of
keyed
on
this
climate
change
thing
now
uh-huh.
So.
E
B
A
A
A
D
A
Was
the
she
believes
that
a
date
should
be
on
there
for
the
date,
I
believe
dana
you
meant
for
when
it
was
created.
H
Okay,
yeah
well
I'll
talk
to
mark
about
that.
That's
an
idea,
yeah
yeah
or.
D
Yeah
no,
but
it's
it's
important
to
know,
and
particularly,
if
you're,
following
an
artist
when
they
do
what
works
of
art
you
know
and
and
where
it
fits
into
the
context
of
the
time.
So
it's
important
to
know
when
an
artist
didn't
work.
So
that's
okay,.
H
A
I
agree,
I'm
not
much
of
an
artist,
but
I
mean
I
just
I
think.
That's
I
don't
know
I
I
agree,
but
so
you'll
can
take
that
under
advisement.
Thank
you
so
much,
I'm
I'm
just
tickled
good.
E
E
H
And
the
gal,
I
can't
remember
her
name
now.
I
have
her
written
down
in
my
phone
book
but
she's
supposed
to
get
with
me
and
just
just
for
some
advice,
really
that's
all
and
on
on
what
they're
going
to
do,
how
they're
going
to
do
it
when
they're
going
to
do
it,
but
I
haven't
heard
a
thing
from
her:
it's
been
about
a
week
and
a
half
two
weeks
since
I
talked
to
them
so.
A
H
G
E
B
A
Right
right,
exactly
we're
going
to
get
bruce
to
take
care
of
it.
One
of
the
things
that
we
were
going
to.
We
actually,
I
said
we'd
talk
about
later
under
unfinished
business
was
leanne.
Did
you
bring
up
the
signs?
Is
there
any
information
on
the
signage
for
groton?
Ms
harkin?
Yes,.
G
There
is
so
it's
been
slow
going,
but
that
package
of
signs
that
includes
the
gateway
sign
at
route,
1
and
117,
with
directionals
for
town
hall
and
town
hall,
annex
that
I
at
that
end
five
other
signs,
so
there's
gonna
be
some
directional
posts.
Another
gateway
sign
down
the
street.
G
Trying
to
think
that,
that's
it
on
that
one,
because
it's
a
package-
that's
I
just
gave
them
the
the
go
ahead
for
the
fabrication,
so
they
said
four
to
six
weeks,
so
that
should
be
in
the
early
new
year.
I've
talked
to
greg
about
insulation,
and
he
said
that
you
know
he's
he's
not
going
to
say
we're
not
going
to
install
it,
because
it's
winter
time
it
might
be
warm
enough
to
install
it.
So
it
depends
on
the
weather
right
now,.
E
G
Yeah,
ideally,
ideally,
we
delineate
where
we're
going
to
plan
and
we
can
dig
that
up
and
I
I'll
be
definitely
involved
in
the
install
and
cindy
I'll
call
you
and
we
can,
because
I
I
think
the
planting
scheme
around
that
sign
is
really
important
too.
Yes,.
A
G
To
public
schools
they're
just
going
to
sit
at
public
works,
okay
and
then
yeah
whenever
they
can
install
them
and
they
install
them.
We'll
have
a.
B
A
G
A
G
We
haven't
even
gone
into
production
on
that
one.
Yet
so
that's.
A
Right
all
right,
but
you're
you're
working
on
it,
yep,
okay,
excellent
all
right,
so
I
need
I
just
want.
I
have
a
thing
here.
I
wrote
down
for
new
business.
Is
community
engagement,
so
the
I
showed
you
there's
a
sign
gruse.
A
That
rachel
had
made
up.
A
And
she's
gonna
put
they
planted
a
bunch
of
bulbs
and
she's
gonna
put
them
there,
but
I
she
bought
two
and
I
put
one
of
them
at
the
top
of
fort
hill,
where
we
just
cleaned
out
all
that
overgrown
weeds.
So
I
put
one
there,
but
it's
really
too
small.
So
I
just
wanted
to
get
you
guys,
thinking
throw
it
out
there.
A
Do
we
think
there
were
that
that
there's
ever
a
time
that
we
would
need
some
kind
of
attractive
sign,
saying
the
beautification
committee
did
this
or
would
probably
have
to
be
bigger
than
this.
I
even
thought
when
we
did
the
work
at
the
avery
parklet
when
stuff
at
the
annex.
A
But
before
you
got
here
bruce,
we
were
also
talking
about
how
a
couple
of
these
a
couple
of
kind
of
what
I
think
of
as
beautification,
both
in
stonington
and
mystic
have
occurred,
but
they
didn't
have
a
lot
of
our
committee.
Members
didn't
necessarily
have
to
be
there
and
so
isn't
that
exactly
what
we're
trying
to
do
is
to
get
people
to
be
take
pride
in
their
neighborhood
and
do
projects
with
the
support
of
the
community.
So.
A
A
I'm
sure
she
could
make
one
up,
you
know,
do
a
design
for
us,
it's
like
it
would
have
to
be
bigger
and
the
wording
might
have
to
be
slightly
different
and
bigger,
so
people
could
read
as
they
fly
by
so
I
will
maybe
ask
her
if
she
would
maybe
work
on
something
because
it
doesn't
cost
anything
to
work
on
it
and
they,
I
think
they
were.
I
think
she
said
30
30
for
two,
so
it's
not
a
huge
investment.
A
The
only
thing
I'm
concerned
about
is:
is
it
going
to
blow
away
because
I
just
put
one
in
at
the
top
of
fort
hill
and
it
was
windy
today
and
I
thought
well
when
I
go
back
tomorrow,
will
it
still
be
there
anyways
anybody
else
have
any
other
new
business
anything
they
want
to
bring
up.
G
Tabitha,
okay,
I
just
want
to
put
another
plug-in
for
greatergroton.com,
so
if
you're
not
signed
up,
please
sign
up
and
the
beautification
page
is
getting
hits
we
had
like
30
people
or
something
take
that
little
poll
about
what
we
should
be
focusing
on.
So
people
really
support
the
idea
of
trash,
cleanups
and
public
art
and,
unfortunately,
not
planting
flowers
as
much.
B
G
You
know
it
depends
on
who
who
hits
the
page,
but
the
more
people
we
have
using
it,
the
better
so
share
it
with
your
friends
and
neighbors.
So.
H
Was
there
has
there
been
any
talk
about
putting
a
mural
on
the
one
of
those
buildings
down
there,
where
the
sewer
complex
is
the.
G
So
I
actually
had
a
chance
to.
I
was
in
the
room
with
the
mayor
for
an
open
house
that
we
put
on
for
this
greater
cotton
thing
for
the
arpa
thing,
and
I
mentioned
it
and
he
was
like
well
that's
a
great
idea,
but
he's
he's
all
like
big
picture,
big
picture.
I
don't
think
he's
really
thinking
of
details
right
now,
so.
A
Yeah
and
also
once
we
get
started,
I
think
we're
going
to
start
getting
our
information
and
then
people
will
come
to
us
and
ask-
and
I
know
at
least
jamie
really
wants
to
bring
in
other
muralists
to
give
them
an
opportunity.
I
mean,
obviously
that's
a
big
scale
thing,
but
if
we,
if
you
know,
I
just
think
it's
it's
an
opportunity.
Sometimes,
even
if
maybe
we
started
smaller
lian
were
you
gonna
say
something.
B
B
I
think
we
should
talk
to
the
people
that
do
know
like
tabitha
and
missy's
friends
and
have
those
trees
on
order
now.
The
reason
I'm
saying
that
is,
we
were
allocated
some
money
from
the
town
and
it
won't
be
long
till
its
budget
time
and
when
it's
budget
time,
you
have
to
go
in
and
make
a
presentation
and
if
we
go
in
and
make
a
presentation-
and
we
haven't
used
the
money-
we're
not
going
to
get
any
new
money.
B
So
I
think
we
need
to
really
think
about
spending
some
money.
E
B
A
A
Obviously
I
want
to
be
very
thrifty
about
it,
but
could
we
I
I
kind
of
wanted
to
look
for
a
tree
for
the
top
of
fort
hill,
since
that's
a
town
owned
property
we
don't
have
to,
we
don't
have
to
worry
about
well,
we'd
have
to
check
about
digging,
but
like
it's,
it's
seems
like
a
low-hanging
fruit,
but
I'm
then
somebody
said
oh
well.
You
should
ask
for
a
donation,
I'm
just
like.
A
I
don't
know
what
I'm
supposed
to
do,
because
I
can't
just
sit
on
that
money
forever,
but
I
guess
I
guess
I
could
ask
for
a
donation
or
donation
of
services.
I
don't
know
and
then,
and
then,
on
top
of
it
use
the
use.
B
A
B
Well,
you
know
like
say
if
we
could
have
some
place
that
we
put
in
that
order
and
tell
them
that
we'll
be
looking.
We
want
it
in
this
early
springtime.
When
we
can
do
some
plantings,
we
get
spicer
down
there
to
do
the
digging
for
us.
He
said
he'd
bring
in
whatever
kind
of
equipment
we
needed.
It's
been
a
while,
since
we've
all
talked
to
him,
but.
A
The
town's
going
to
do
the
one
at
two
at
two:
what
am
I
saying,
117
and
route
1.
the
town's
going
to
take
care
of
that
the
planting?
That's
in
part
of
the
budget,
I
believe
right.
We.
B
A
F
Are
we
talking
about
what
spots
we
should
just
clarify
what
spots
we're
talking
about
trees
because
it
seems
to
be
like
you
know,
one
at
the
top
of
fort
hill
is
one
tree,
but
the
trees
along
that
area.
You
know,
there's
there's
a
big
area,
we're
going
to
go,
take
a
look
at
that
cindy
and
take
pictures
and
really
make
sure
we
understand
where
we're
talking
about.
Are
we
still
going
to
do
that
or.
A
Absolutely
yeah!
Yes,
because
all
the
the
all
the
leaves
are
down
now
right,
yeah!
You
might
want
to
set
a
date
right
now.
E
A
F
H
A
Right
right,
there's
some
really
pretty
conical
hollies
mine
is
beautiful.
Right
now
covered
with
berries,
okay,.
A
I
I'll
be
in
touch.
F
E
A
I
want
to,
I
don't
want
this
all
recorded,
so
why
don't
I
give
you
a
call
or
text
tomorrow.
F
H
E
A
All
right
very
quickly
here
I
sent
you
guys
out
three
designs
that
are
recent
designs
by
jamie.
I
did
not
clarify
with
him.
He
specifically
said
these
are
three
designs.
I've
done
this
year,
so
I
don't
know
if
he
meant
he
did
them
for
someone
else.
He
did
them
and
put
them
somewhere
or
he
did
them
for
us,
and
I
didn't
clarify
that
with
him.
I
know
the
one
of
them
that
was
a
little
more
abstract
I'd
seen
that
before
so,
but
the
other
two
I
have
not
seen
before.
A
So
he
when
I
when
I
spoke
with
him,
he
said
he
didn't
think
he
wasn't
in
a
big
hurry
because
we
weren't
going
to
be
putting
any
paint
on
the
walls
anytime
soon-
and
I
said
yeah
but
mr
ackley,
the
owner
of
the
building,
would
like
to
see
any
kind
of
design
that
we
you
know
we
would
need
to
forward
a
design
to
him.
You
know,
so
we
don't
want
to
wait
until
you
know,
may
1st
or
something
so
so
I
I
so
I
need
to
clarify
with
him.
What
exactly
I
mean?
A
I
I
remember
bruce
said
you
gave
him
four
ideas:
lighthouse
whaling
sub,
I
think
or
submarine
force.
Maybe.
H
E
D
H
I'll
suggest
something
to
him,
he
might
want
to
see
something.
That's
business
specific
like
that
has
to
do
with
oil
or
air
conditioning
or
something
I
don't
know,
but
I'll
chat
with
him
when,
when
I
get
a
hold
of
them.
A
B
I
gotta
tell
you,
I'm
not
interested
in
doing
anything
in
downtown
mystic,
they
have
their
own
groups,
they
have
two
very
active
groups
and
I
think
they're
very
capable
of
doing
something
rotten
proper.
As
I
call
it
does
not
have
a
group
working
for
them.
So
I'm
not
the
least
bit
interested
in
doing
something
in
downtown
mystic,
I'm
just
being
flat.
B
B
A
Okay:
okay,
the
last
thing
I
need
to
talk
to
you
about
is
the
next
meeting
is
scheduled
for
january
10th
at
5
30
pm
via
zoom.
I
do
not
believe
I'm
going
to
be
able
to
be
here.
I
believe
I
will
be
in
california
helping
my
sister
move
from
one
home
to
the
next,
although
trying
to
plan
the
trip
is
challenging,
but
at
this
point
I
am
committed
to
going.
A
I
just
haven't
had
a
lot
of
luck
planning
we
can
either
decide
to
to
cancel
the
january
meeting
or
leanne
can
act
as
the
chair
and
run
the
meeting
that
day.
I.
A
I'll
try,
I
would
just
I
would
come
up.
I
would
type
up
the
the
minutes
and
I
would
set
an
agenda.
I'd
have
to
control
with
you
leanne.
I
so
is
that
what
the
consensus
is
you
guys
want
to
go
ahead
and
have
a
meeting
sure.
B
A
B
A
A
G
A
Well,
we
we
discussed
that
actually,
last
month,
when
you
weren't
here
and
a
lot
of
people
like
the
zoom
meeting,
because
there
I
know
that
dana
usually
has
a
meeting
yeah,
that's
what
you
have
to
do.
You
have
to
go
yeah.
She
has
a
meeting.
Okay!
Thank
you!
So
much
dana
a
lean.
It
comes
from
something
on
mondays,
sometimes,
and
so
I
think
it
it
sounded
like
the
consensus
was
that
people
would
prefer
to
keep
it
on.
Zoom.
Obviously,
bruce
cannot
attend
when
he's
in.
A
If
it's
not
zoom
during
the
cold
winter
months,.
A
I
I
kind
of
like
zoom
until
it
gets
warm
again,
and
I
really
would
like
to
I
think
I'd
like
to.
We
personally
would
like
to
continue
a
zoom.
I
would
love
to
see
everybody,
but
I
think
we
should
wait
until
it
gets
a
little
warmer
and
then
bruce
rejoins
us,
because
we
need
to
keep
our
artists
involved
as
best
we
can,
because
I'm
kind
of
a
plant
gal
in
case
you
hadn't,
noticed.
A
Yeah,
okay,
all
right!
Well,
let's
just
keep
it
for
zoom.
You
know
until
let's
revisit
it,
maybe
in
april
what
time?
When
do
you
usually
come
back
bruce.
A
C
Anybody,
yes,
I
sent
a
little
link
with
to
love
your
blog
from
hartford
city.
C
I
read
that
right,
the
and
after
the
plan
about
planting
after
what
leon
said
that
we
needed
to
spend
some
money,
I
was
trying
to
figure
out
if
this
approach
of
mini
grants
for
people
to
do
something
in
different
areas
of
town
is
something
that
is
part
of
our
committee
prerogative,
or
is
that
something
that
is
a
town
board
decision
that
then
comes
to
us?
And
I
don't
know
how
that
would
work
because
they're
there
they
have
something
that
is
very
well
established.
C
That
is
very
simple
and
clear,
comprehensive
and
seems
to
be
working
well,
so
we
don't
really
need
to
reinvent
anything.
If
that's
something
we
want
to
use
as
a
template,
but
how
would
that
work
would?
Would
we
be
able
to
do
that
from
our
committee
or
do?
Is
that
something
that
the
town
board
would
decide,
and
then
we
would
implement.
A
Well,
I
know
when
I
read
the
article
that
you
sent.
Thank
you
very
much
for
doing
that
by
the
way.
The
first
thing
I
thought
was
so
first
of
all
they
they,
I
really
like
that
they
set
out.
This
is
what
we
this
is
the
area
we'd
like
to
change.
It
was
one,
was
litter,
cleanup
and
different
things,
and
they
set
out.
This
would
be
the
preferential
areas.
A
This
is
the
preferential,
the
preferred
rather
projects
at
this
time,
which
was
nice
because
it
it
kind
of
delineated
things,
because
if
it
wasn't
just
open,
it
would
be
hard
to
figure
out
what
you
were
going
to
do.
The
first
thing
I
thought,
though,
even
though
these
are
mini
grants
of
a
thousand
dollars
who
then
looks
to
make
sure
that
the
thousand
dollars
is
spent
on
what
it
was
supposed
to
be
spent
on
to
me.
That
was
one
of
the
first
things,
I've
kind
of
a
background
in
money
management
stuff.
A
I
immediately
thought.
Oh
once
again,
I
I
I'm
not
I'm
not
a
thinking
ex
expecting
the
worst
type
of
a
person.
But
what
would
you
do
if
someone
said
oh
say
that
say
they
were
doing
the
bulb
planting
and
we're
gonna,
buy
500
bulbs
and
we're
going
to
plant
them
and
we're
going
to
mulch
them
and
they
didn't
have
any
town
support
and
then
they
didn't
do
it.
A
A
Yeah
that
that
to
me
was
the
only
thing
that
I
was
thinking
about
was
woof.
You
know
just
the
administration
and
the
basically
making
sure
that
things
were
spent
as
they
should
be
spent,
what
they.
B
If,
if
I
could
make
a
suggestion,
if
there's
interest
in
this
groton
has
a
program
where
it
gives
grants
to
people
to
fix
up
their
homes,
it
does.
G
B
G
It
could
be
something
like
facade
improvement
too.
Like
thinking
of
missy's
comment
about
the
signs,
you
could
give
small
grants
for
facade
improvement
for
businesses
too.
E
G
G
B
F
G
Yeah,
you
can
only
use
it
really
for
life
safety
and
like
real
emergency
projects
like
your
hou,
your
roof
is
caving
in
your
boiler
is
broken.
Your
electricity
is
going
to
kill
somebody.
A
A
Kind
of
situation:
okay,
okay,
so
that's
a
little
bit
different
yeah!
Well,
I
think
elene!
You
said
what
did
you?
What
was
the
other
thing
you
said
in
your
email
was
that
you
were
gonna,
you
were
expecting
more
information
or
you
hadn't
gotten.
The
information
you
well.
C
I
couldn't
find
anything
on
the
website
and
the
town
website
that
would
address
any
beautiful,
any
initiative
from
residents
and
that
would
be
supported
by
a
group
or
by
the
town,
and
so
I
said
well,
if
there
is
nothing
in
the
town,
I
should
look
see
if
this
that
exists
somewhere
else
and
see
what
how
they
do
it-
and
I
found
this
site
on
hartford
city
and
what
I
liked
is.
They
have
a
schedule.
They
they
have
application.
C
C
Money
you
would
expect
to
leave
and
six
like
this,
so
it
sounded,
it
sounded
good,
and
so
I
said
well
unless
we
have
something
similar
or
somewhere
on
the
website.
I
couldn't
find
in
town
that
sounded
like
a
reasonable
approach,
but
I
mean
that's
not
the
only
one,
I'm
sure.
A
It's
a
lot
to
think
about
because
I'm
wondering
like,
as
as
we
we've
taken,
we've
completed
a
certain
number
of
things
and
we're
working
towards
the
mural
yeah.
What's
the
next
coming
down
the
pike
so
and
I've
really
wanted
to
try
to
keep
to
a
localized
area,
so
we
don't
spread
out
and
lose
our
way
so,
but
if
we
have
completed
a
number
of
things,
we
I
think
it
is
good
to
to
keep
our
are
like.
C
F
I
just
wanted
to
say
that
at
some
point
I
think
we
need
to
maybe
talk
again
about
writing
a
letter
from
the
beautification
committee
to
a
business
and
saying
we
love
what
you've
done.
Thank
you
or
giving
them
some
recognition
like
they
do.
Our
garden
club
does
that
to
businesses
in
mystic,
and
it
does
seem
to
sometimes
it
gets
in
the
newspaper,
and
it
really
is
kind
of
a
cool
thing
it
kind
of
takes
off.
Everyone
really
tries
to
get
that
acknowledgement
that
little
plaque
they
put
up
on
their
wall.
A
E
A
A
Yes
exactly,
and
that
was
one
of
the
points
I
was
making
is
that
that
area
is
getting
dramatically
improved
now
and
they're
supposed
to
put
a
top
on
the
gazebo
there
at
the
beginning
of
the
trail,
and
I
know
that
they
had
fixed
that
walkway
there.
A
Think
or
I
think
that's
a
possibility
because
they
at
least
have
those
enormous
pots
there
and
they
do
actually
put
things
in
there,
so
maybe
ask
them
to
take
something
a
step
further.
So
maybe
the
next
meeting,
although
great
I
won't
be
there,
but
maybe
one
idea
per
person
and
and
maybe
like
missy,
would
you
be
comfortable
writing
a
letter
that
you
could
send
out
to
us
and
we
could
you
know,
look
at.
F
A
Sure
and
then
maybe
I
know
I
can
use
possibly
town
letterhead,
but
maybe
I'm
wondering
if
I
could
get
approval
to
have
a
beautification,
a
committee
letterhead,
which
might
be
a
little
more
attractive
or
maybe
people
really
like
the
town
letterhead.
You
know
because
it's.
B
A
All
right
and
if
I
ever
figure
out
the
if
I
ever
get
signed
on
to
the
email
you
know
wow,
I
could
actually
have
them
email
me
or
us
anyways,
that's
enough
enough!
Another
subject
all
right.
So
if
anybody
at
the
next
meeting
would
like
to
bring
a
suggestion
for
something
to
work
on,
I
think
I
know
what
leanne's
is,
but
I
I
I
think
we
we're
gonna,
get
some
synergy
here
and
pull
it
together.
