Description
The Harmony team attended LisCon in Lisbon, Portugal October 20-21, 2021. We met with many amazing people including Nemo Cerovac of Tesseract. Nemo and Harmony founder Stephen Tse discuss Layer 2s and growing the community.

B
It
was
like
I'm
a
software
engineer
by
degree,
so
in
one
moment
I
was
hanging
out
with
some
friends
that
were
like
hey.
We
saw
on
some
forums
this
theorem
white
paper.
You
should
check
it
out
for
fun.
I
was
like
okay
sure,
let's
check
what
it
is
like,
I
heard.
Bitcoin
exists
cool
that
then
like
it
bought
for
me,
like
all
of
the
possibilities
to
make
the
centralized
applications
was
like
wow.
This
is
so
cool
yeah.
B
Yeah,
so
we
just
launched
a
couple
of
days
ago
a
project
called
tesseract,
which
is
basically
in
collaboration
with
wyon
and.
A
B
Are
like
a
first
wire
and
incubated
project,
so
the
idea
is
to
launch
wiring
on
other
chains
outside
of
the
l1
yeah,
so
we
started
with
polygon.
We
launched
a
couple
of
days
ago.
We
put
the
cap
on
our
vaults,
which
is
like
four
million,
and
we
hit
the
cap
in
like
two
hours,
which
was
really
exciting.
So
now
we
don't
want
to
touch
any
code
until
lisbon
ends,
because
we
want
to
have
fun
and
enjoy
here
and
talk
to
the
other
people.
B
For
sure
and
after
that,
we'll
release
like
the
the
vaults
and
also
start
exploring
other
blockchains
right.
A
How
is
the
experience
with
why
you're,
especially
the
incubate,
what
kind
of
what
kind
of
interaction,
what
kind
of
help
yeah.
B
It's
it's
amazing,
like
all
of
the
guys
from
the
year
from
the
beginning,
were
really
like
supportive
in
a
sense
giving
feedback
and
discussing
because
the
the
initially
we
were
thinking
to
do
some
kind
of
talking
economy
and
their
job
right.
But
then,
after
back
and
forth,
and
have
really
deep
discussions.
We
realized
why
it's
better
much
better
for
the
whole
ecosystem.
There.
There
is
no
token
and
it
behaves
the
same
way.
How
wiring
works
on
maina
wow.
B
So
after
that,
like
all
of
the
guys,
like
the
whole
engineering
team,
product
team
com
team
from
here
and
was
really
amazing
and
like
on
every
step
like
you,
can
support
both
like
peer
review
kind
of
things
and
just
giving
you
advices
on
the
pain
points
that
they
already
experienced
for
like
building
for
the
last
like
whatever
many
months
in
the
year.
So
like
yeah.
That's
like
full-on
support
from
that
end,
like
just
peer
review,
and
it's.
B
It's
amazing,
like
the
the
whole
ecosystem,
like
if
you
remember
like
it
all
started
with
that,
like
that
was
like
one
of
the
initial
sparks
after
curve
to
kind
of
like
build
around
the
year
and
then
yeah.
You.
A
Also
have
seen
the
polygon
growth
as
well
as,
like
the
whole
yeah
evm
ecosystem
now
grown
to
that
stage
right.
What
would
be
the
advice
for
like
something
like
harmony
like
thinking
about
the
evm
ecosystem?
What
would
be
a
great,
like
part
for
you
to
think
about
the
multi-chain,
multiple
layer,
2
strategy,
that
you
guys
are
thinking
yeah.
B
So,
if
you're
talking
about
like
so
in
general,
like
if
you
say
like
when
you
say,
like
the
advice
you
mean
like
in
general
or
like
talking
about
the
test
right.
B
B
I
do
think
one
of
the
big
challenges
right
now
is
a
lot
of
users
being
confused.
What
to
use,
because
you
have
like
you,
have
like
copies
and
copies
and
copies
of
like
different
protocols
right
with
like
small
spins,
which
is
really
nice,
like
it's
kind
of
like,
if
you
add
any
type
of
innovation,
and
just
like
as
a
new
experiment.
It's
super
cool
yeah,
but
I
think
that
people
can
get
really
confused
right.
So,
like
one
of
the
things
for
us,
I
guess
is
like
a
ui
and
user
experience
right
right.
So.
A
B
Would
be
one
side
but
like
if
you're
talking
about
like
what
they
believe
that
every
blockchain
yeah
kind
of
like
has
a
substance
which
are
like
texas,
a
m's
landing
protocols,
perpetual
protocols,
leverage
landing
leverage
yield
farming,
these
kind
of
things
so,
like
you
have
like
whatever
curve
uni
sushi
alpha
finance?
What
else
you
need
there
insurance
protocol?
Let's
not
forget
insurance
protocols.
B
B
B
Yeah
correct
yeah,
like
I
really
like
it
like
I,
like
that
we
have
like
more
experiments.
I
do
have
a
high
hopes
of
like
finding
some
kind
of
decentralized
social
networks,
and
I
think
that
a
couple
of
teams
are
like
already
exploring
that
right.
That
would
be
super
awesome,
because
I
do
believe
that
that's
like
one
thing
that
would
like
make
really
interesting
things.
