Description

Single Windows solutions are common place in the logistics industry. While this works within a country, facilitating trust and handover between borders is the new challenge. With approximately 10% of containers being able to be physically checked, a new solution is necessary. Hypertrace provides customs agencies the ability to verify the authenticity, origin of the goods itself and handover in a trusted and transparent way. With such a solution, the amount of containers to be inspected drops significantly because of the immutable aspects of the blockchain as well as the distributed ledger between parties.

Ralph will show:

Okay, welcome everybody, my name. My name is Ralph Reyes from EBI EBI Pisan, ditch company who delivers mystic change platforms.

Friends is for processing and validating data, financial statements from to the chamber of commerce or to validate tax declarations for tax office, but also to process and validate data of goods and training the you, the EU for customs, the so called single window platform. Well, we noticed that customs is happy with the data and can decide what container packets are good to check.

But it's also very useful for them to know where the goods have been from the manufacturing to to the customer and what transporters have been involved when the good is transported to know if it is, has been temperate Swift. So that's why we built a track and trace solution. A product called we called hyper trace based on hype, ledger in which all handovers in the transport are recorded. So first I will explain the supply chain case tracking 3 case. What are our goals with the product?

Then I will more elaborate on the product, hyper trace and the advantages we see using a hyper ledger for a hyper trace and explain a little bit more about the tools and frameworks. More specifically, we used and and finally, we will give a demo with two mobiles and having from that I have Nippon Express and Armani the manufacturer and the transporter so I hope that demo will work. Fine, so yeah the supply chain case well check and trace is transport of goods.

I think there are two important goals to to mention. We want to have transported transparency in a transport chain, especially to support and anti counterfeiting, and we want to provide efficiency for customs. Christmas has to do less container checks if they really know where the goods have been and what transporters have been involved in the transport yeah. We already built some audit process functionality using blockchain, and but that was before atoll documents, I think with the supply chain.

We have a few more challenges because it's not only relating to data also relating to the goods itself, so it's also a physical aspect there and we have multiple parties. So you have the order who ordered goods. You have the manufacturers who produce who uses the goods. You have the trans transported transporters in involved in the transport, and you have the customers who want to check the goods.

An important aspect is physical handover of the goods, from one transported to the other or from the manufacturer, to the transporter, and that's where we want to have a multiple second share watch, which will be demo after at the end of my presentation and also what it makes more complex in the supply chain, is that one hora can be split in multiple shipments and that where shipments can be split or consolidated again.

So if you look at the supply chain in the real world, you see that a shop can order one or more Goods in an order. The manufacturer produces it and then it can be transported by truck or by plane or by train with my boat and different transporters can be involved so, and our solution is, to the record every hand over as a kind of audit record and in all these record is containing their order. Id containing the receiver and the sender and it's all resting in a book chain.

So we know what steps are made during the transport.

And customs, for instance, can see properly pair order what steps are made during the transport and also see when an handover is not register difference the Red Cross. There is a part that is not ready in the in the in the audit in the book chain. Oh, they can see what transporter was involved and when in suspicious transporters well involved, they have another reason to check the container or the package, so they can be more efficient in in their work now specific features of IVA trays.

Well, we can do it standalone or we can supply to the module for a trade platform. For instance, we talked if IBM they have a trade cleanse platform, that's more focused on the logistics part, so we can add feature for that and we have more specific features already talked about the multiple signatures, so both the sender and the receiver signed the handover.

So it's really sure that the end over is done by those two parties and we trace the whole transport train from the origin from the manufacture till the customer which can trace it every level. You can trace a package level base layer or container level, depending also where you have the NFC tag.
