Description

Using Hyperledger Fabric to Track Embedded Carbon in Industrial Supply Chains - Douglas Johnson-Poensgen, Circulor

Circulor has been working in some of the most carbon intensive industrial supply chains since 2018. Sustainability is now a mainstream business issue and there is wide recognition of the carbon intensity of the supply chain in the manufacture of things like electric vehicles.

This talk will present a case study of the dynamic attribution of the embedded carbon in the electric vehicle battery supply chain. The outcome is to enable procurement professionals to buy more sustainably and so make a direct and significant contribution to the organisation's net zero ambitions.
