rise
of
platforms
to
which
airlines
connect
directly
open
up
their
capacity
to
their
clients
to
book
directly,
which,
on
the
one
hand,
provides
some
efficiency
on
the
from
a
different
perspective.

see
now
more
and
more
and
ai
is
definitely
a
artificial
intelligence,
a
buzzword,
but
I
see
now
more
and
more
practical
examples
where
people
are
using
ai,
for
example,
to
book
how
much
cargo
capacity
is
available
on
passenger
planes
depending
on
whether
passenger
loads
and
what
have
you
so
we
it's
been
used
to
to
predict
at
a
far
more
granular
level
than
some
of
the
traditional
tools
that
were
used
in
air
freight.
So
things
have
been
yeah,
I
would
say
speeding
up
in
the
last
24
months.

kind

about
more
from
a
passenger
airline
perspective,
and
if
you
look
at
from
the
passenger
airline
perspective,
I
mean
there
are
two
postcover
challenges.
There
was
the
near-term
challenges,
which
was
around
surviving
the
pandemic,
which
was
around
controlling
cost,
ensuring
safety,
and
some
of
them
still
remain
as
as
challenges,
including
the
staffing
stock
productivity
in
other
areas.

is
also
the
midterm
kind
of
challenges
which
are
around
recovery
and
revival,
which
is
you
know,
the
demand
patterns
have
kind
of
changed
and
there's
kind
of
revenue
compression
that
you're,
seeing
there's
also
a
lot
of
legacy.

there
on
passing
side.
So,
given
that
perspective,
I
would
say
the
three
things
that
are
more
kind
of
on
the
airline's
agenda
from
a
technology

perspective.

modernizing

core
and

modernizing

around
decoupling,

creating
resilient
architectures,
doing
a
lot
of
platform
creation

think,
a
lot
of
those
technologies
kind

have
been
on
the
on
on
that
old
legacy
technology
for
quite
some
time.

second
area,
of
course,
is
around
digital
transformation,
where
we
are
seeing
quite
a
lot
of
new
technologies
coming
in
you
know,
contactless
travel
is
a
big
thing.

in
my
entry
are
doing
quite
a
lot
of
contactless
travel
work
today
for
our
customers.
We
it
large
hospitality
chains
or
car
rentals
or
airlines.
We
are
doing
contactless
travel,
and
this
is
like
you
know
something
that
as
a
traveler,
you
and
I
expect
more
and
more
contactless,
so
that
digital
transformation
is
happening.
The
other
area,
of
course,
is
around
the
whole
idea
around
digital
health
passport,
which
is
kind
of
taking
more
precedence
nowadays
and,
of
course,
virtual
agents.

loyalty
relationships
have
also
changed
on
the
digital
transformation
agenda,
where
you're
now
looking
at
more
partnerships-
and
you
know
there
are
examples
around
the
airline
industry
where
american
airlines,
jet
blue
and
alaska
kind

tied
together,

quite
a
lot
of
examples
where
these
partnerships
are
evolving
and
and
airlines
are
trying
to
kind
of
take
advantage
of
that,
and
then
there's
also
the
innovation
agenda,
which
is
around
you

can
we
do

different
kind
of
things

addressing
the
pleasure

the

and
leisure
combination

these
kind

digital
transformation
agendas,

new
technologies

kind

form

amalgamation
in

move

around
controlling
costs,
which

the

going
on
the

operations,

require
modernization
as

investments

other
areas
on
the
off
side

keep
the
costs

think

three
things

the
technologies

things
modernizing

transformation

sum

term

will

there

use
cases
that
we

technologies

cloud
computing,

business
intelligence.

mean
those
technologies
are
here:
they've
been
around

many
years
they
are
evolving
and
while
they
evolve,
you
can
capture

use
cases

better

think
aviation
has
been
using
a
lot
of
these
technologies

years

from
the
pressurization
system
on
the
aircraft
is
using
artificial
intelligence
and
it's
been
around
for
50
years.
So
there
is
a
number
of
things
where
aviation
has
been
a
pretty
pretty
early
user
and
we
continue
looking
into
that.

limit
comes
to
the
scale
and
the
having
everybody
using
the
same
thing,
but
from
a
competitive
standpoint,
individual
players
can
and
are
using
a
lot
of
these
these
technologies
when
it
goes
beyond
digital
transformation.
So
there

number
of
technologies
that,
in
my
view,
are
transforming
or
will
be
transforming
aviation.

game
changer
looking
at
companies

are
looking

a
speed

sound
flight

so
companies

boom

to
be
concalled
et
cetera.

all
these
will
transform
the

we

vehicles

drones

sustainable

fuels

transformations

technologies

certificate

the

union

conceptualized.

other

that

are
seeing
also
is
from
from
an
airline
perspective.

it

the
airline's
view
the
airline
is
mandated
to
do
certain
