From YouTube: Learning Tokens @ Hyperledger Besu, 2nd. Public Session

Description

A virtual Hyperledger meetup hosted on September 13, 2023 featuring Tanjin Alam and Alfonso Govela.

Learning Tokens @ Hyperledger Besu recognize, register, and reward skill acquisition and community engagement in collective learning.

We look at the learning process as a granular path, where we track what we know with the steps of when and how we learned it.

Complementary to certificates, they allow learners to gradually build profiles of their competencies in a Skill Wallet for a life-long formal and informal education.

Learning Tokens use the composable Interwork Alliance Token Taxonomy Framework (IWA TTF) to create four tokens to measure attendance, scores for learners and instructors, and help for collective learning.

This presentation is the mid-term evaluation of our project at Hyperledger Mentorship Program 2023. More about the mentorship program is at:

So if it does, we can do it very easily or we need to just convert our chain. Good converter solidity, industry input so that we can do. We can make it possible then.

That's on on the on the development side, but the idea, while they had the the idea of using vessel, is that beso hyperledger vessel is a framework that allows us to have private private, blockchains and public blockchain. So we could have all the registry of Institutions instructors Learners in the private section, and then we could have the tokens in the public blockchain.

So that's the advantage of hypo that your best it's a bridge between the two worlds, the worlds of private blockchains and the worlds of public blockchains. It's a hybrid possibility.

This is a joint project between hybridledger foundation and gbbc, and what ttf does is allows. It's allow us in this next second half of the mentorship project mentorship program.

We would see how what we've done has to be transformed in order to become a standardized learning token within the token taxonomy frame and see how we can start using those tokens. Our learning tokens in specific pilot use case.
