entertainment

been
researching
in
this
matter

media

insurance
media.

last
three
years,

media

technology

ethereum

cryptocurrency
as

big
failure
in
new

launch

was

we

forward

economy

we
had
a
lot

on
the
regulation

bullish

fact
that
I
know

this
technology

be
impact,

impact
journalism.

beginning
it

a
live
music
production
company
that
diversified
in
2013
by
developing
some
consulting
activities
focused
on
the
digital
technology
and
strategy
in
media
entertainment
activity
sectors
and
in
2015
I
discovered
blockchain
technology.
As
I
was
working
on
the
value
sharing
in
the
music
industry,
I
was
making
some
studies
on
all
content.
Creators,
producers,
publishers
and
distributors
were
linked
all
together
by
contracts
so
regularly
abandoning
contracts,
and
I
tried
to
understand
how
these
contracts
could
be
chained
all
together.

was
working
on
a
xml
based,
shaming
system
so
that
I've
totally
dismissed
when
I
discovered
the
ethereum
smart
contracts.
So
this
was
really
important
this
summer
2015,
because
this
is
a
real
moment
where
I
say

artist
I
was
complaining
as
a
live
music
producer.
I
just
said
to
them
so
now
I
will
not
work
with
you
anymore.
I
have
to
focus
on
this
brand
new
technology
and
trust
me.
It
will
be
a
very
useful
for
all
the
music
industry
in
the
coming
years,

it
was
a
big
bet.

on

blockchain
standards

successful

crypto

been
having

the
stable
coin,
something
that
we

coin
on
the
mainstream
for
the

and
one

lack
of
successful
project
of
this,
because
the
cryptocurrency
is
too
volatile.

working

project

mexico

bank

people

the
music

the

is

big
tech

networks

unambiguously
identify
content

decentralized
networks,

content
identification

authority

connect
the
asset

with
the
metadata

it.

identifier

the
iscc,

international
standard

long
and
sometimes

them
are
shortened.

link

metadata

to

there
were

least
10
startups

set
up

biggest
music
database
and
most
of
them,
some
all
failed,
because
the
question
was
not

build

biggest
centralized
database.

most
harmonized
and
disambiguate
database,
but

decentralized
database,
and

is

blockchain
technology

useful

became

little
bit
of
a
dirty
word,
but
it's
now
become

There's
now
growing
interest
again
around
b2b
applications
in
the
media
industry.
So

interested
in
companies
like
verify
media
which
is
used
to
be
blockchain.
They
they've,
really
they've
started
to
get
some
real
buy-in
from
from
the
the
industry
in
the
in
the
music
industry.

like

a
company
in
new

and
in
london
called
film
chain
which
is
using
blockchain
and
cryptocurrency
to
manage
back-end
payments
on
for
film
projects,
because
you

there
are
all
kinds
of
there
are

people
involved
in
making
a
film

The

money
flows
are
are
complex
and
opaque
and
they've
had

success.
