A virtual meetup hosted by Hyperledger Denver on July 10, 2023 featuring Eddie Satterly, CTO of OneOf. In this Meetup, Eddie goes through a presentation on the design and architecture and live demo of the OnePlatform Loyalty and Marketplace solution which leverages Hyperledger Fabric, Firefly, Indy & Aries. how
hyperledger

a
while,
so
now
I
get
to
do
it
for
real
yeah.
So
it's
great
to
be
here

we
have
spent
about
the
last
six
or
seven
months,
building
a
new
platform
that
we
call
one
platform,
but
essentially
built
primarily
around
hyper
Ledger
components.
So
I
mentioned
all
the
Indy
Aries
and
and
fabric
that
kind
of
at
the
core
of
all.

That's
also
Firefly
and
we're
doing
some
work
there
too,
but
kind
of
pulls
everything
together,
but
really
like
why
web
3,
loyalty
right,
there's
all
kinds
of
gimmicky
things,
there's
all
kinds
of
really
Niche
things
that
are
going
on,
and
then
some
brands
have
done
a
really
good
job
with
this,
but
really
why
it
matters
is.
It
gives
a
brand
new
way
to
engage
with
the
user
right
in
that
I
can
offer
you
something.

Let
you
work
towards
something
that
you
kind
of
gamify
the
experience
and
let
you
figure
out
how
you
want
to
do
something.
So
the
company
we
acquired
last
year,
which
actually
I
came
from,
was
tab
networks,
which
was
a
loyalty
platform
that
was
already
down
a
web3
passed
to
some
point,
but
this
is
kind
of
jumped
way
ahead
and
moved
everything
to
a
full
hyperledger
back
end.
So
but
it's
all
about
gamifying
user
experience
and
putting
the
user
in
control
of
their
data,
meaning
the
user
controls
everything
how
they
interact.

They
can
also
choose
how
they
link
their
accounts
between
Brands
and
what
they
share
from
one
to
another.
But
kind
of
the
most
important
thing
to
the
adoption
is
hiding
all
the
complexity
from
the
users.
So
every
user
conversation
I've
had
people
either
understand
Webster
really
well,
and
they
want
to
be
expert
users
or
they
don't
want
to
deal
with
it
at
all
right.
They
just
want
the
ease
of
it
and
the
ability
to
interact
without
having
to
deal
with
any
of
the
complexities
of
how
that
works.

So
we
kind
of
made
that
an
easy
button
version
of
things
and
then
moving
towards
decentralized
ID,
is
kind
of
the
the
key
to
I
think
the
future
of
what
we
want
to
do,
with
being
able
to
interact
with
the
web
and
web3
specifically,
and
in
order
to
get
there
you
kind
of
have
to
make
it
transparent
and
easy
for
most
of
the
people,
because
people
you
know
that
that
aren't
keeping
up
with
the
emerging
technology.
That
maybe
aren't
you
know
playing
on
devices
all
the
time
or
software
developers.

Or
you
know,
people
who
are
just
you
know,
experts
in
the
space
short
of
that
you
it's
really
hard
to
find
someone
who
even
understands
what
it
is
and
I've
spent
hours
just
explaining
what
it
is
to
people
and
we're
going
to
do
another
session
on
the
decentralized
ID
part
of
our
platform
later
in
the
fall
kind
of
in
more
detail
and
do
a
Hands-On
bit
on
that.
But
part
of
it
is
you
got
to
make
that
easy,
so
people
can
move
that
direction.

The
Y
hyperledger
part
right
so
again,
new
ways
to
engage
New
uptake,
putting
users
a
controller,
same
thing
we
said
before,
but
really
what
it's
about
is.
Permissioning
is
kind
of
the
key
to
success
for
this,
and
that
Firefly
is
bringing
the
whole
thing
together
right.
So
we
essentially
have
a
series
of
react:
apps,
the
Commerce,
app,
a
loyalty,
app
a
wallet
app
and
we
pull
everything
together
and
Firefly.

But
at
the
end
of
the
day,
this
is
the
primary
components
of
what
runs
in
the
system
and
what
the
entire
back
end
looks.
Like
so
other
than
postgres,
which
obviously
is
also
open
source,
everything
else
in
here
is
driven
off
of
Fiverr
Ledger
and
even
honestly,
our
user
sign
up
side
is
driven
off
of
keyclub,
so
also
open
source.
So
it's
OSS
from
the
beginning.

But
the
idea
there
is
that
you
know
an
admin
can
go
in
depending
on
their
level
of
complexity
and
capability
can
go
in
and
do
each
of
these
pieces
themselves
from
minting
an
nft
without
even
really
knowing
that's
what
you're
doing
right
to
creating
loyalty
points
which
is
really
creating
an
erc20
token
and
putting
that
in
somebody's
accounts
so
that
they
have
a
a
token
or,
for
you
know,
a
an
entry
token
to
enter
into
a
game
or
sweepstakes,
which
has
you
know
no
monetary
value.
But
again
it's
just
another.

Multiple
clouds,
to
be
honest,
so
kind
of
a
lot
of
the
core
capability
is
using
AWS.
Currently,
the
hyperledger
side
of
it
is
is
in
the
midst
of
being
moved
over
to
OBP
and
using
oracle's
cloud.
So
it's
it's
a
combination
of
both.
Currently
we
also
have
a
an
environment
that
will
be
built
on
Azure
later
in
the
fall
for
a
customer
who
wants
to
go
in
that
direction,
so
it's
kind
of
cloud
agnostic.
From
that
perspective,
we
have
nodes
running
across
multiple
clouds
and
multiple
azs
within
the
clouds,
so
that
everything's
fully
redundant.

really
it's

customer

get

can

on

or
an

collectible

you

that

least
three
tracks,
so
I
have
listened

in
the
past

in
this

are

000
a
ticket
now
to
get
into
some
of
those
shows.

but
you
could,
you
can
make
it
a
gamified
experience
to
do
collections
to
do
saves
to
get
rewards
for
you
know
following
certain
users
or
doing
playing
certain
tracks
or
going
out,
and
you
know
looking
at
a
specific
series
of
media
things
that
you
have
to
do,
or
you
know,
sharing
social
media
information
sharing
of
your
track.
You
saved
on
social
media.
All
those
things
are
gamified
ways
that
you
can
engage
with
a
customer
to.

them
basically
collect
a
series
of
things
that
lets
them
then
combine
those
into
something
more
interesting,
which
could
be
free
tickets
to
a
show
could
be.
You
know,
a
special
track,
which
is
a
very
popular
one.
You
know
putting
some
Vault
content
inside
of
an
nft
and
making
it
a
special
track.
You
can't
get
any
other
way,
meaning
there's
you
know
a
attractive.
You
know
their
original
recording,
which
you
used
to
get
to
buy
at
a
record
store
on
some
special
thing.

there's

a
number
of
ways
that
you
can
engage
with
people
to
get
some
series
of
actions,
all
of
which
being
stored
on
The
Ledger
as
a
an
action
and
all
of
which
results
in
being
awarded
a
badge
which
is
essentially

nft
right,
so
you're
you're,
getting
an
nft
and
then
you're
able
to
redeem
series
of
events
he's
for
others.
So
you're
doing
a
burn
and
swap
kind
of
configuration
to
get
different
things.

each
of
these
actions
results
in
generating
either
an
nft
or
a
token
that
you
can
use
to
say,
enter
sweepstakes
or
play
a
game
of
chance
all
right.
So
we
have
some
random,
spend
and
scratch
style
games
as
well
they'll.

doing
something
with
one
of
those

tokens
as
soon
as
a
number
of
the
things
that
popped
up
in
the

a

currently,

we
we
have
AWS
and
Oracle,
is
rolling
out,
as
we
speak
matter
of
fact,
my
team's
working
on
a
lot
of
that
today,
so
those
are
already
supported.
Like
I,

fall,
we
have
a
customer
who
wants
us
into
the
Azure
environments,
we'll
be
doing
that
as
well.

Ibm
has
not
been
a
requested
platform,
so
we
do
have
some
patches
that
we've
needed
to
have
put
into
two
four
something.

hyperledger.
In
order
to
make
some
of
this
functionality
work
the
way
we
needed
to
so
we
could
not
run
on
oracle's
224,
which
was
our
standard
ovp.
So
we're
running
a
early
release
of
obp's
2-5
support,
which
is
coming
out
a
few
months
from
them
as
a
production
release,
but
we're
running
an
early
release
of
that
to
get
functional.

needed
I
believe
IBM's
is
still
on
an
older
version
of
fabric,
but
we
could
assuming
they
update
to
something
after
the
patches
that
we
needed
to
have.
Then
we've
paid
a
couple
community
members
to
to
build
some
patches
and
get
them
pushed
in,
and
then
we've
had
some
cooperation
with
some
other
community
people
on
what
we've
done
and
what
they've
done
to
get
some
of
the
capabilities
in
to
be
able
to
build
this
in
a
in
the
way
we
need
it
to
be
built.
So
that
would
be
the
only
limitation.

of
at
the
core
of
all
of
it
and
to
me
I,
think
the
most
interesting
piece
is
getting
the
did
side
of
it,
set
up
so
being
able
to
do
the
decentralized
ID.
So
we
essentially
when
a
user
comes
into

system

we're
gonna
basically
create
a
account
for
them
we
are
going
to,
and
this
is
a
verification,
one,
not
a
creation
one
here,
but
nonetheless
we,
when
a
user
logs
in
they,
go
into
key
cloak.

at
that
point

use
keycode
to
set
up
a
user
ID
and
account
for
them.
Then
we
go
out
to
the
wallet
app,
which
essentially
then
creates
a
wallet
in
whatever
chains
are
registered
with
that
user
environment.
So
fabric
is
always

case
because
we
use
that
as
not
only
our
DLT
for
recording
everything,
but
also
Fabrics
at
the
core
of
all
of
them,
but
we
could
also,
as
you
saw
in
the
earlier
slide,
connect
out
to
polygon
or
we
have
we
make
support
coming
later
in
the
fall.

keep

separate

platform

brand
owns

data,

we

not
want
that

happen

brand

relationship.

think
we're
all
trying
to
move
away
from
that
in
the
New
World,
but
we
use
the
kind
of
traditional
kind

bottom

picture
of

older
issue

common
against

framework
and,
unfortunately,
a
non-credible
isn't
quite
available
at

building

platform

rather
have
a
first
class
upgrade.

of
the

plain
version
of
it,

can't
get
a
first
class
upgrade

you
can't
get
a
companion

So
why
don't
we
trade
those
right?
And
the
idea
is
to
enable
that
kind
of
interaction
which
again
gamifies
more
things
and
lets
people
figure
out
how
to
get
what
they
actually
want
from
a
loyalty
system
versus
something
that
maybe
they
don't
care
about.
And
a
lot
of
the
offers
will
make
that
even
more
expansive.

given
that
these
are
all
created
from
a
Warner
perspective,
I
mean
the
Warner
admins,
create
them
or
our
admins
create
them
with
the
warner
team.
In
this
case,
we
know
they're
authentic,
there's
no
way
for
them
not
to
be
because
the
only
way
to
Mint
onto
the
specific
platform
in
general.
However,
for
like
the
shared
platform
environments,
there's
an
entire
takedown
process,
there's
a
AI
capability
to
look
for
things
that
we
know
shouldn't
be
there.
So
there
is
a
whole
process
around
authenticity
on
that
and
this
particular
the
one
platform
case.

maybe
it
slightly
simplified

people
want
to
engage
with
a
brand

certain

really
want
to
enable
that
brand
to
engage
with

The
way
you
want
people

world

we've
gotten

lot
of
user
feedback
and
and
different
studies
that
we've
done
on
that

people
really
want
to
be
interacted
with
in
a
gamified

get

there

it's

kind

complicated,
honestly,
there's
a
lot
of
pieces
that
you
kind
of
have
to
pull
together
to
make
this
work
in
a
meaningful
way.

us
kind

opening
up
the
ability
for
others,
and
we
have
some
brands
that
are
going
to
run
some
nodes
on
our
did
infrastructure
as
well
other
than
not
just
us
and
multiple
clouds,
but
also
you
know
letting
others
run
nodes
on
the
dead
side.

then
the
ability
to
do
the
badging
and
such
I
mean
it's
all
available
in
between
Firefly
and
fabric,
but
there's
a
lot
of
tricky
things
to
setting
it
up
properly
and
then
getting
all
the
premiere
machine
tied
together.

start
publishing
a
lot
more
of
that
and
opening
that
up,
but
with
any
kind
of
chain.
Currently
it's
still
complicated
to
do
and
the
permission
chain
is
kind
of
key
to
make
this
stuff
work.
So
hyperledger
is
obviously
a
great
fit
for
that.

bunch

pieces
to
to
move
around
in
this.

the

agencies

know
MLB
or
NBA
or
NFL
own
certain
things,
and
then
the
athletes

smaller

of

conversations

continue
on,
but
one
of
the
bigger
problems

just

access

many
other
ways
in
which
one
part
of
the
supply
chain
