of
our
members
to
them
as
well

all
around
specifically
blockchain

supply
chain.

is

collaboration,

we
provide
resources.

about
30
years
shipping
Logistics
supply
chain
we're
not
the
quickest
ducks
in
the
ponds.

We
don't
adopt
new
technology
very
quickly.
We've
been
talking
about
e-airway
bills
and
e-bills
of
lighting,
which
is
our
our
main
document
for
transportation
for
20
years.
We're
still
using
EDI
as
the
most
robust
technology
and
supply
chain
ADI
was
invented
for
the
second
world
war,
that's
70
years
old
and
that's
kind
of
our
cool
technology
right.

blockchain
came
around
became
very
interested
realized
that
we
needed
a
lot
of
information.
So
that's
what
we
do
around
education,
so
newsletters
and
webinars
and
workshops.

created
a
course

moving
the
supply

technology
that
we
call
DLT
and
blockchain

our
ecosystem.

2019
because
we
wanted
a
nice
maple

Europe,
India's
kind
of
died
away.
Australia,
New
Zealand
is
coming
community
building

about
stuff,
resolving
issues
so

and
who's

the
technology
world,
so
who's

supply

pandemic:

bigger
supply
chain
disruption
right
there

well,
I've
been
living
all
that
stuff
for
30
years,

strikes
and
all
that
for
30
years,
but
the
biggest
disruption
to
my
industry
to
our
industry
is
bigger
than
all
those
combined
is
actually
bad
data,
bad
information

we're

Yes,
we
agree.
Bad
data

destructive

I'll
give
you
a
very
oversimplified
example.

lot

exchange

lot

ourselves

use

ways.

people

using
faxes,

no,

hands
and
all
that
stuff
is
very
expensive.

again,

I
was

shipment
and

and
use
a
shipment

beer

Blockchain,

proponent
of
blockchain.

probably

food
trust

They
were
one
of
the
first
ones,
so
they
did
a
study
in
Canada.
They
identified
11
steps
to
the
invoicing
process
from
pickup
of
the
goods,
deliver
the
goods
any
invoice,
recreating
dispute,
reconciliation,
etc,
etc.

the

they

can
onboard

carrier

super
quick,

efficient.
They
have
apparently
saved
about
30
million
dollars
on
the
project
so
far,
just
by
kind
of
re-jigging,
their
invoicing
process

deliveries,
scheduling
a
whole
bunch
of
different
things.

resold

kind

of

All
that
is
paper-based.
If
you
lose
the
paper,
you
can't
resell
it.
