From YouTube: Building on Cardano: In conversation with Milkomeda
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
So
saba
thank
you
for
being
on
the
show
with
us
today.
Can
you
tell
us
a
little
bit
about
mokameda
for
those
who
are
new
or
who
need
a
refresher
on
its
place
in
the
ecosystem.
B
A
So
then,
maybe
you
can
relate
this
specifically
to
the
cardano
ecosystem.
What
role
does
cardano
play
in
mokomeda
yeah.
B
B
The
end
goal
is
to
basically
turn
this
into
a
layer
two
where
it
inherits
the
security
properties
of
cardano,
because
cardano
is
is
one
of
the
most,
if
not
the
most
secure
blockchain
out
there,
and
so
we
want
to
inherit
the
security
properties
of
cardano
and
being
able
to
add
to
it
facility
functionality,
evm
functionality
to
bring
more
developer
adoption
to
the
cardona
ecosystem.
What.
A
B
B
We're
currently
working
on
bridging
over
nft,
so
in
the
future,
you'll
be
able
to
bring
nfts
as
well
and
we're
also
working
on
a
concept
called
rap
smart
contracts,
which
would
basically
allow
you,
as
a
cordon
user,
to
be
calling
a
cardinal
smart
contract
which
then,
under
the
hood,
triggers
the
mule
commuter
facilities.
Contract,
takes
the
results
and
brings
them
back
to
cardano,
which
kind
of
completes
the
user
experience.
So
we
have
a
certain
good
set
of
functionality
live
right
now
and
we
have
a
lot
of
exciting
stuff
planned
in
the
future.
So.
A
B
Yeah,
so
milk
computer
deployment
is
currently
what
is
called
a
side
chain,
which
means
that
it
has
a
separate
validator
set
from
the
current
ecosystem,
which
is
why
we're
planning
to
upgrade
this
to
a
layer
2
which,
if
you
don't
know
a
layer,
2
means
it.
Here's
the
security
properties
of
cardone
itself,
while
we're
in
this
transition
phase.
Obviously,
where
you
take
user
safety
as
important
as
it
can
possibly
be,
which
is
why
validators
on
the
milky
minute
network
were
picked
from
the
cardona
ecosystem.
So
there
are
people
that
you
know
and
have
reputations.
B
Also,
the
bridge
cannot
bridge
arbitrary
tokens.
It's
all
based
off
of
an
approval
process
that
projects
have
to
go
through
we're
currently
trying
to
limit
exposure
of
ethereum
style
risks
by
basically
creating
some
acid
fractionalization
standards
to
protect
users
on
the
cardinal
side,
and
we
have
a
kind
of
a
large
variety
of
security
measures
we
like
to
add
in
the
future,
as
well
as
we
add
features.
We
also
audit
everything
we
do
so.
We've
done
two
audits
so
far
we're
in
the
process
of
going
through
a
third
audit
as
well.
