in
his

the
delivery

Let's
start
with,
you,
there's
been
quite
a
lot
of
activity
around
the
node
in
recent
days.

Absolutely
tim,
so,
as
usual,
the
team
has
been
working
really
hard
to
deliver
the
benefits
of
the
vassal
hard
fork
to
the
community,
and
the
good
news
is
that
this
week,
we've
just
tagged
a
new
1.35
to
our
release
that
fixes
some
issues
we
found
and
we're
doing.
The
final
testing
and
benchmarking
on
that
right
now
so
135.2
we're
slating
is
a
release
for
tests
net.
Only.

It
fixes
some
issues
that
staple
operators,
dap
developers,
internal
testing
and
other
people
have
identified
and
the
goal
is
it
will
flush
out
any
final
issues
as
we
go
to
the
vasel
hard
fork,
so
obviously
tim.
What
we're
doing
is
we're
focusing
on
testing
thoroughly
getting
it
right
and
not
rushing
and
the
community
support
in
helping
us
to
do.
That
has
been
absolutely
brilliant.
We've
been
working
very
closely
with
many
leading
community
members
to
get
this
absolutely
right
and.

this
is
software
development.
Inevitably,
some
issues
can
crop
up
and
what
we
have
to
do
is
we
have
to
assess
those
issues
as
they
come
in,
determine
what
impact
they
could
have
and
we
need
to
make
sure
that
any
issues
that
could
affect
the
use
of
the
node
as
we
go
into
vasel
are
fully
worked
out.

So
obviously,
when
we
make
a
rollout
plan,
we
give
dates
to
help
community
plan
their
own,
our
rollout,
but
these
are
subject
to
the
issues
we've
been
describing
and
making
sure
that
we
don't
have
any
major
issues
as
we
go
to
the
hard
fork.
So,
as
I
said,
the
sba
has
been
asking
brilliant
in
helping
with
that.
Obviously,
from
where
we
are,
there
could
be
a
few
more
weeks
before
we
go
to
the
actual
vassal
hard
fork.

Yes
tim,
this
is
incredibly
important.
All
the
users
have
to
be
are
ready
to
progress
through
the
hard
fork
to
make
sure
the
smooth
process
both
for
them,
but
also,
very
importantly,
for
the
end
users
of
the
cardinal
blockchain
as
we're
rolling
out
the
new
node
versions,
we'll
be
communicating
very
closely
with
the
state
pool
operators
and
other
users.

those

upgrade
path,
both
for
the
test
net
and
for
mainnet
and
we're
following
the
process
that
we've
used
before
with
rollouts
we're
engaging
very
heavily
with
exchange
and
dap
partners.
We
are
communicating
very
closely
with
the
cardano
foundation
and
other
developer
partners.

mean,
as
you
said,
this
is
the
most
significant
update
we've
ever
done
so
far.
There
are
lots
of
moving
parts
a
lot
of
dependencies,
so
a
lot
of
work
has
been
done
on
the
iog
core
components,
with
a
lot
of
stakeholders
involved,
but
on
the
other
side
there
shows
a
huge
amount
of
effort.
That's
been
downloaded
downstream
components
from
the
dbc,
all
the
way
to
wallet,
bucket,
graphql
and
auto
explorer,
and
I
wanted
rated
it
but
kevin
mentioned.

Our
priority
is
to
ensure
to
get
things
done
right
and
if
that
takes
more
time,
so
let
it
be.
We
established
a
couple
of
criteria
to
make
those
things
to
happen.
First
of
all,
in
terms
of
exchanges,
we
aim
to
have
integrated
at
least
80
of
them
by
liquidity,
and
when
it
comes
to
spos,
we
expect
to
have
at
least
25
of
those
spos
updated
to
the
latest
version
of
the.

Yeah,
yes,
absolutely
tim,
so
this
is
obviously
quite
a
technical
thing.
The
cost
model
is
an
assessment
of
the
actual
execution
costs
for
each
of
the
pluto's
primitives,
and
the
police
team
spent
quite
a
lot
of
time
and
energy
into
doing
very,
very
careful
measurement
of
the
execution
costs
of
it's
something
like
168
different
parameters.
So
these
are
all
integrated
into
the
new
cost
model
and
they're
designed
to
work
with
the
new
version
of
the
node
that
we're
rolling
out
for
vasel.

So
what
the
fossil
does
is
to
enable
all
the
new
bluetooth,
v2
features,
including
the
support
for
reference
scripts,
reference
inputs,
inline,
datums,
etc,
very
importantly,
for
end
users
and
for
dap
developers.
This
is
going
to
reduce
the
transaction
costs
for
a
number
of
chats
so
expect
to
see
lower
transaction
costs
for
executing
the
same
scripts,
just
because
the
benefits
that
the
plutus
interpreter
is
going
to
bring
and
these
features
going
to
be
used
in
a
number
of
exciting
projects
going
forwards,
including,
of
course
hydra,
which
is
under
development.

mystery
project,
and
I'm

give
you
some
update
on
how
this
project
is
going.
Last
time
we
introduced
the
product,
then
we
we
said
our
main
use
case
will
be
the
easy
bootstrap
of
counter
node
and
that's
something
we
are
still
on
track
to
deliver
and
to
have
a
working
version
on
the
calendar
test
net
real
soon
and
a
nice
side
effect
that
this
will
make
it
possible
to
boot
a
deluxe
wallet
faster.

we
we
think
that
we
might
start
delivering
parts
of
it
or
as
a
side
feature
of
the
micro
network
like,
for
example,
being
able
to
deliver
or
to
retrieve
a
certified
stake,
distribution
or
being
able
to
sign
and
retrieve
a
certified
utx
set,
possibly
with
the
addition
and
the
some
features
are
provided
by
the
aggregators
and
the
snapshotters
that
would
be
they'll
provide
some
kind
of
bloom,
filtering
or
vip

features
like
we
know
from
the
bitcoin
and
spv
network
in
the
short
term.
Our
next
major
step
is
open
sourcing.

Once
the
code
is
open
sourced
and
the
website
goes
live,
then
both
the
spos
and
clients
should
be
able
to
download
and
install
microsigners
and
clients
and
then
and
run
them
on
the
test
net
and
interact
with
an
aggregator
that
will
be
able
to
aggregate
the
signatures
and
produce
snapshots
on
a
regular
basis.
We
expect
that,
at
this
point,
we'll
be
will
be
engaging
with
the
community
to
start
rounds
of
testing
improvements
of
network
gathering
feedback.

main
goal
from
this
point
on
will
be
to
have
a
minimum
viable
product
available
on
mainnet.
There
are
quite
a
few
challenges
to
overcome
both
on
the
technical
and
non-technical
side
of
things,
most
notably
the
the
question
of
how
to
deploy
designers
alongside
the
cabinet
block
producers,
what's
a
proper
model
for
decentralizing
the
aggregator
and
how
to
deal
with
evolution,
the
protocols
the
usual
stuff.
We
expect
this
to
be
a
huge
opportunity
for
people
to
start
shaping
it.
What
should
be
the
future
of
of

a

and
events
designed
really
to
give
the
projects
that
have
been
funded
through
project
catalyst,
a
platform
to
show
and
tell
what
they've
been
up

it's
fantastic,

we
can't

will
be
doing
that
so

the
coming
weeks.

proposals
in
this

we
don't
know
just
yet
and
that's
the
next
part
of
the
journey
where
it
is
all
about
finding
out
together
the
quality
of
all
of
these
submissions.

recap
a
little
bit
on
what
is
delegation.
What
is
d-rex
and
liquid
democracy
is
the
framework
that
we're
building
that
on
so
liquid
democracy
is
a
form
of
delegated
democracy,
whereby
an
electorate
so
aka
ada
holders
engage
in
collective
decision
making
through
a
blend
of
direct
participation
and
dynamic
representation.

So
this
democratic
system
sort
of
utilizes
elements
of
both
direct
and
representative
democracy.
So
it's
a
bit
of
a
mouthful
and
I'll
just
skip
into
what
does
that
really
mean
for
project
atlas?
So
as
ada
holders
today,
you
can
currently
vote
directly
on
as
many
proposals
as
you
like
within
project
catalyst.

D-Rex
introduced
this
dynamic
of
representative
voting,
where,
instead
of
voting
directly,
you
can
delegate
your
voting
power
to
a
d-rep
or
in
fact,
multiple
europes,
depending
on
your
preferences,
so
those
d-reps
will
vote
on
proposals
on
your
behalf
and
have
some
minimum
requirements
for
safeguarding
and
also
drive
better
outcomes.
It's
also
really
important
to
worth
note
that
delegating
your
voting
power
is
always
optional
and
it's
fluid,
so
it
can
be
recorded
whenever
an
ada
holder
wishes
and
it
also
resets
after
each
fund.

So
why
delegation?
Why
do
reps
well
there's
a
few
reasons
and
importantly,
it
works
towards
bridging
voting
power
imbalances
for
low-value
balanced
wallets.
It
also
increases
voting
participation
across
more
proposals
and
challenges
and
in
turn,
improves
decision-making
outcomes
and
the
first
thought
of
d-rex
will
be
a
cohort
of
individuals
that
coordinate
and
form
policies
together,
source
and
review
data,
consult
with
experts
and
ultimately
vote
on
hundreds
of
proposals
that
come
through
project
catalyst.

nicely
to
first
cohort:
we've
had
250
sign
ups
plus
so
far,
which
is
fantastic,
and
we
had
the
first
workshop
in
early
june
across
two
different
time
zones.

was

very

fees

Babyfees
are
a
mechanism
that
we
designed
to
allow
users
to
pay
fees
in
non-aided
tokens
a
little
bit
of
background,
slash
review
on
what
the
cardano
fee
mechanism
looks
like
in
order
to
see
why
it's
difficult
to
directly
pay
fees
in
non-aida
tokens,
so
users
submit
transactions.

Why
is
this
a
good
approach,
so,
first
of
all
minimal
complexity
of
changes
to
the
platform
so
minimal
changes
to
the
transaction,
construction
and
processing,
minimal
changes
to
validity
or
effects
of
existing
transactions,
not
a
ledger,
implemented
decks
and
the
simplicity
of
the
changes
we
propose
allows
to
maintain
existing
ledger
security
guarantees,
second
of
all,
minimal
overhead
for
users,
no
costly
design,
implementation
or
upgrade
or
execution
of
existing
smart
contracts,
because
this
is
a
change
to
the
ledger.
It
operates
at
the
ledger
level,
not
the
smart
contract
level.

when
someone
makes
an
offer,
that's
how
much
fee
is
being
covered
by
that
specific
amount
of
tokens
and
there's
no
additional
fee
that
they
have
to
pay.
On
top
of
that
to
be
able
to
submit
that
offer,

mechanism
we
propose
is
quite
versatile:
exchanges
are
not
enforced
by
a
fixed
algorithm,
giving
users
the
power
to
configure
their
selection
process
at
any
time
and
decide
what
kind
of
tokens
they
want.

building

book

Everything
is
decentralized,
encrypted
stored
on
chain
and
then
nft
allows
users,
then
to
own
that
book
and
after
they're
done
reading
it
they
could
resell
it.
They
could
give
it
to
a
friend
just
like
a
physical.

number
of
reasons,
but
overall,
I
think
it
was
cardano,
definitely
delivers
the
scalability
and
security

having
big
plans
in
a
big
