talk

guys

about
what
wada
has
been
up
to
so
a
little
sneak
peek.
Here
we
are
rebranding,
so
some
things
we're
just
going
to
quickly
go
over
some
of
the
projects
that
we've
completed.
We
did
receive
some
funding
so
we're
we
have
some
completed
projects
and
then
ongoing
projects
and
then
a
little
bit
of
what's
coming
up.

a
quick
overview

fun
three,
we
did
sort
of
complete
everything.
We
were
working
on
in
fund
three,
that
we
did
a
website
relaunch.
We
have
officially
launched
our
wada
state
pool
and
we've
initiated
some
university
student
catalysts
on
boarding
program
specifically
in
ghana,
then
in
fund
four,
we
had
a
really
successful
catalyst
conference
that
we
did
just
a
couple
weeks
for
the
end
of
last
month.

also
had
another
event
type
thing
for
developer
tools
and
events
which
we
are
planning
for.
We
have
some
courses
that
we're
we're
starting
but
we're
our
main
event
will
be
the
winter
hackathon
to
present
the
year
and
then
in
general,
we're
starting
to
work
with
the
cardano
foundation
regarding
our
local
community
centers.

we're
really
excited
about
that.
Then
for
fun.
Five,
we
had
a
media
funnel
for
proposers
so
that
we're
gonna
focus
on
really
giving
some
more
visibility
to
some
of
our
projects
and
some
other
projects
you

in

community,
so
we're
we're
working
on
that
and
then
also
wada
university
student
registry
has
been
launched
in
july.

There
were
some
coveted
restrictions,
but
we
had
about
15
people
at
each
at
each
hub,
one
of
them
in
drc
and
that
one
was
a
francophone
event
and
then
the
other
one
in
ghana.
For
I
mean
they
speak
english
there,
but
we
did
have
the
event
itself
was
bilingual.
We
had
the
online
portion
was
also
translated,
live
in
french,
so
that
was
a
really
great
success.
We
had
a
lot
of
positive
feedback
from
that
and
we're
going
to
do
more
next.

design

simulation
of
voting
influence.

this
group

guys

they're
looking

actually
start
simulating
something
that
would
be
a
proposed.

we're
really
excited
to

collaborating

get
community
members
involved

this
whole
process

hear
hear

other
people

focused
on
africa.
The
diaspora
and
beyond.
Our
mission
is
to
create
a
resource
network
that
connects

who
are
seeking
solutions
with
those
who
provide
solutions
with
the
genesis
of
our
journey
to
begin
in
africa.

recognize
this
is
a
broad
stroke,
and
that
is
intentional.
Our
grand
grand
ambition
is
to
span
across
several
sectors.
We
found
that
both
folks
inside
and
outside
of
africa
assumed
that
we
were
just
focused
on
west
africa
and
rightfully
so,
because
it
was
in
the
name,
but
truly
we
represent
what
to
truly
represent,
who
we
are
we
embarked
upon
a
rebrand
with
this
rebranding.

rest

the
team

of
voting

work

and

started
wada:
it
was
a
west
africa,
decentralized
alliance.
It
was
really
sort
of
the
proof
of
concept
of
something
we
wanted
to
eventually
expand
throughout
africa
and
very
quickly
in
the
beginning.

mean
we
joined,
you
know
very
early
on
and
we
were
kind
of
I'm
here
in
cameroon,
which
is
actually
technically
central
africa,
but
we're
we're
right
on
the
on
the
border.
So
you
know
at
that
point
it
was
like
it's
okay.

First
of
all,
there
are
many
different
sub-regions,
but
second
of
all,
there's
this
whole
community
in
the
diaspora
that
maybe
even
feels
disconnected
or
you
know
it.
Just
we
wanted
to
be
a
little
bit
more
inclusive
of
kind

all

people
and,
however,
they
connected,
so
that
was
that
was
one
of
the
one
of
the
biggest
reasons
to
push
for
rebranding
sort
of
making
something

little
bit
more
inclusive.

didn't

months

that
these
zoom
calls

collaborating
online
is
no
limitation
anymore

felt
inhibited

barrier
just
seems
to
have
been
lifted,
and
I
want
to
talk
about
the
conference
that
you
guys
have
already
run.

audience,

think,
was
a
lot
of
community
members
and

people
kind
of
in
that

realm

but
we

in-person
attendees,

really

getting
some.
We
actually
did
this
whole
process
of
an
official
invitation
to
get
these
official
people
to
attend,
because
we
wanted
to
start
talking
about
the
use
cases
that

sort
of
the

big
push
for
the
area.

target
specific
audiences
in
our
in-person
events
and
then
the
ghana
team,

believe,

more
university

in-person

success
with
sort

bringing

people

were,

a
handful
of
the
online
attendees
that
came
from
sort
of
those
groups
that
couldn't
attend

person
for
whatever
reason,

I
think
the
feedback
was
was
very
positive.

really
great

in
person
and
even
the
online
groups,
and,
like
I
said
we
did,
we
had
sort
of
a
learning
experience
with
the
translation.

lot
more
challenging
than
I
realized.

wouldn't

happy

moved

one
week
into
the
second
stage,
which
is
about
to
start
tomorrow,

last

about
10

days
until
we
are
actually
then
be
able
to
reach
the
governance
phase.
So
this
is

us

keep
updated
on
the

next
quick

about
voter
registration,
some
of
us
may
have
forgotten
voting.

ongoing,
so
if
you
haven't
been
registered
in
the
previous
funds,

register

in
order
to
be
able
to
review
a
technical
proposal.

valid,

put
yourself

shoes
of

proposer

crafting

proposal

whatever
reason
you
as
the
community
advisor
reviewing

feedback
