Description
Wrap Up Session - presented by @bmann at IPFS þing 2022 - Building Apps on IPFS - https://2022.ipfs-thing.io
A
I
think
I
want
to
do
a
very
quick
wrap
up,
and
mainly
what
I
want
to
do
is
potentially
gather
some
other
parking
lot
items,
so
I'm
just
gonna.
I've
posted
the
link
in
the
slack
channel,
so
very
collaborative
sessions.
Lots
of
people
looking
at
over
overlap.
Looking
around
the
room,
saying
oh
cool,
there's,
some
other
things
that
we
can
work
on,
which
I
think
was
really
great.
This
is
actually
listed
multiple
times
so
ipfs
desktop.
A
We
didn't
end
up
talking
about
this
very
directly,
but
different
business
models
other
than
other
than
free.
Can
you
get
paid
to
use?
Your
data
is
ipfs
ready
for
apps
biggest
pain
points
which
we
should
work
on
prioritize
together.
I
think
brendan
really
both
ripped
off
that
band-aid
and
indicated
that
there
were
additional
scars
to
work
on.
I
think
that
was
really
rich
hosting
publishing
a
front-end
web
apps.
We
didn't
talk
a
bunch
about
that.
A
Russell
is
putting
an
unconference
session
together
to
talk
about
pinning
service
api
compatibility,
and
I
know
the
nft
storage
team
actually
wants
to
talk
about,
ucans
and
and
and
pinning
generally
and
there's
a
couple
of
links
that
russell
shared
around
a
couple
of
issues
related
to
diagnostic
view
and
metrics
view.
So
chris
in
particular,
even
just
a
little
user
story
of
like
I
found
this
great,
would
be
amazing
to
harvest.
A
We
met
a
bunch
of
people
in
person,
I'd
love
to
so
we
will
get
slide.
Links
from
everyone
we'll
get
those
shared
we'll
get
all
those
into
discourse.
I'd
also
generally
like
to
as
part
of
the
harvesting
we'll
get.
Essentially
everyone
who's
interested
and
use
this
as
a
way
to
form
into
areas
of
interest
and
other
things
like
that
where
we
can
work
together.
A
I
think
a
lot
of
that
was
surfacing
a
lot
of
of
like
wait:
you're
working
on
x,
you're,
working
on
y
and
that's
sort
of
a
meta
layer
of
everything
going
on
here.
We
we
are
not
going
to
get
very
far
if
we
all
have
to
bootstrap
everything,
that's
needed
for
building
apps
on
top
of
ipfs
so
and
let's,
let's
work
together
and
and
and
gather
around
some
of
those
areas,
other
closing
thoughts
suggestions.
A
I
think
in
general,
the
entire
concept
of
working
groups
across
the
pln
is
sort
of
booting
up.
So
you
know
david
started
with
the
bacalao
project
and
then
said:
hey
this
once
now
that
we
have
skin
in
the
game.
Let's
make
a
working
group
that
we
can
gather
a
bunch
of
other
people
that
that
fall
into
that.
I
can
think
of
a
couple
like
probably
a
native
mobile
working
app
would
be
good
dave,
you're
working
on
some
native
mobile
stuff.
Aren't
you?
Yes?
A
Can
you
say
what
that
is
briefly,
it's
pretty
simple
right
now,
it's
just
a
app
that,
basically,
just
like
you
can
put
in
a
cig
or
click.
The
ips
link
like
that
and.
B
Safari
mobile,
safari
and
it'll
open
reopen
it
into
a
gateway,
so
you
can
access
it,
and
we
also
we're
like
uploading
web
storage
stuff
like
that.
But
it's
supposed
to
be
like
a
point
just
to
like
make
that
stuff
accessible
right
now
and
then
we're
gonna
slowly
start
experimenting
with
more
peer.
B
A
That's
super
fantastic
and
that's
the
kind
of
thing
because
I
mean
you're
working
with
nft
storage
anyway.
Might
that
be
another
container
for
ucan
compatible
app
logins,
because
our
challenge
generally
is
the
like
persistence
of
shoving
stuff
in
web
crypto,
api
and
random
browsers.
We
know
that
the
vast
majority
of
users,
which
actually
did
not
come
up,
so
I
actually
want
to
raise
it
everything
that
we're
doing
in
the
web
and
that
we're
experimenting
with
like
desktop
browsers.
A
The
reality
is
the
vast
majority
of
humans
use
mobile
phones
as
their
one
and
only
computing
device,
and
we
do
mean
one
and
only,
and
so
we
actually
have
to
do
the
you
lost
your
phone
in
an
icelandic
volcano
recovery
path.
Ideally
so,
but
great,
I
think
that's,
I
think,
that's
amazing,
that's
like
so
possibly
a
a
native
mobile
apps
working
group,
which
immediately
would
be
you
durin
and
birdie.
Like
there's
three
already.
I
know
some
others
cosmos.
A
Do
you
know
the
cosmos
guys
they
haven't
open
sourced
anything
yet
and
they
so
they
are
currently
walking
through
the
shredder
all
by
themselves,
and
I've
suggested.
A
What's
that?
No,
no!
With
a
k.
They're,
a
tool
for
thought
that
is
I'll
I'll,
add
that
link
too.
It
was
another
one
that
I
think
gordon
is
like.
I'm
not
gonna
look
at
it.
B
Now
I
need
to
talk
to
you
about
that
then,
because
we're
doing
the
manifest
v3
rewrite
like
right
now,
so
I
want
to
make
sure:
there's
not
flashes.
Yeah
that'd
be
great.
A
A
Perfect
so
great,
I
think
everyone's
pretty
shredded
from
the
day.
Please
do
use
the
slack
channel
we'll
harvest
back
into
the
discourse
we'll
grab
everyone
who
came.
I
think-
and
I
think
this
is
one
of
the
wrap
ups
from
this
event.
Overall.
