A
Yangmin's
not
here
justin,
do
you
know
anything
about
this?
This
is
still
not
delivered.
Okay,
sorry,
it
looks
like
it's
a
holdover
as
well.
A
Okay,
sam
extended
yeah.
C
Yeah,
so,
basically,
just
trying
to
nail
down
the
our
official
policy
for
end
up
liking
a
release
for
one
nine.
To
recap:
we
we
extended
the
support
for
one
nine
by
six
weeks,
so
that
kind
of
gives
you
six
weeks,
while
one
nine
is
in
support
to
upgrade
to
111
after
111
is
released
so
kind
of
six
weeks
after
the
n,
plus
one
after
the
n
plus
two
release
comes
out.
C
So
the
question
here
is:
if
we
want
to
extend
that
indefinitely-
and
I
think
lynn
and
mitch
wrote
the
original
the
policy
for
extending
the
support
window.
D
We
look
back
to
the
notes.
From
october,
we
have
seen
that
we've
we've
moved
the
needle
meaningfully
in
terms
of
user
behavior
and
upgrades.
We
do
did
see
a
lot
of
users
make
use
of
the
1
9
to
111
upgrade
path.
I've
not
run
those
same
numbers
for
110
to
112
that
were
a
little
bit
early
in
the
window,
but
the
data
that
we
have
shows
a
positive
correlation
between
our
policy
change
and
user
behavior.
C
Okay,
awesome
yeah.
It's
also
worth
noting
that
110
is
actually
a
few
weeks
past.
What
would
have
been
the
old
end
of
life
date
so
we're
already
kind
of
past
it
and
for
110.
C
Okay,
so
in
that
case,
should
we
go
ahead
and
do
a
second
blog
post
announcing
that
this
is
a
permanent
change
and
then
update
our
official
support
talks.
A
C
Yeah,
okay,
cool
that
makes
sense
to
me.
I
can
put
a
doc's
change
up
and
yeah
I'll
loop.
You
in
for
review
on
that
mitch.
A
John
you're,
okay
with
that
yep,
okay,
one
twelve
one.
E
A
E
E
We
then
because
we
pushed
out
the
112-0
by
two
days
because
of
a
bug
fix.
We
also
moved
this
out
by
two
days
to
the
9th
of
december,
but
we
discussed
it
and
we
actually
would
like
to
move
it
back
to
the
7th.
If
there's
no
disagreements
here,
because
first
of
all
it's
earlier
in
the
week-
and
it
probably
makes
sense
for
any
release
and
second
of
all,
it's
a
bit
further
away
from
the
holiday
season.
E
We
have
currently
no
p0s.
There
are
a
bunch
of
small
prs
that
are
pending
and
I'm
not
aware
of
any
security
issues,
but
I
also
haven't
spoken
to
anyone
about
that.
So
I'm
not
in
the
product
security
work
group.
So
I'm
unaware,
if
there's
anything.
E
D
Yeah,
I
I
have
a
p0
that
I
I
couldn't
figure
out
how
to
target
it
to
112.1
in
github
my
apologies,
but
it's
it's
related
to
the
environments
working
group.
We
change
the
default
name
space
of
the
operator,
the
istio
like
ink
cluster
operator,
so
that,
if
you
upgrade
the
operator
from
111
or
any
prior
version
to
112,
you'll,
actually
wind
up
getting
two
copies
of
the
operator,
which
then
are
dueling
with
one
another
over
leadership,
so
that
I
I
can
get
to
the
issue
number
in
a
few
minutes.
A
Here
I'll
sign,
you
an
issue,
an
excellent
image,
thanks.
A
The
top-level
question,
though
I
I
don't,
have
any
objection
to
the
release
on
the
seventh.
You
know
getting
the
release
out
sooner
in
december.
It
definitely
seems
like
a
good
idea.
G
I
think
there
was
one
pr
I
mean
if
it
misses
it,
then
that's
fine,
but
that
dog
was
working
on,
I
believe
about
some
metrics
regression,
so
we
may
try
to
get
that
in
if,
if
we
can,
but
otherwise,
I
think
we
can
probably
go
ahead
without
it.
A
B
Yeah
hi
is
this
the
right
approach
to
nominate
somebody
from
what
I
can
remember
so
lawrence?
You
guys
probably
know
him.
He
is
from
solo
and
he
spoke
on
istio
khan.
B
I
believe
he
gave
a
really
good
talk
on
security.
He
recently
contributed
something
to
a
bug
on
matrix,
merging
and
he's
also
worked
on
glue
security,
so
he's
interested
to
participate
as
a
psw
working
group
member
and
I'm
seeking
the
toc
for
approval.
For
that.
F
I
don't
see
jacob
here
and
I
also
don't
see
oliver
yeah
right,
but
that's
what
you
can
do
if
that's
preferred,
but
I
think
maybe
then
you
want
to
get
a
you
know
a
temperature
read
here
before
right.
F
We
can
ask
psfg
members.
