Description
DevOps World, formerly known as Jenkins World, is one of the largest online events which includes various tracks for automation practitioners, and various community and open source sessions. This year this will be a virtual event on September 28-30. There will be multiple tracks, including the Community and the Continuous Delivery Foundation tracks. Any Jenkins-related talks are welcome! The Call for Papers Deadline is May 20, 2021.
During this session Alyssa Tong and Oleg Nenashev will introduce the Jenkins community agenda and then talk about the call for papers and the application guidelines. Then we will have a Q&A session where we will answer any questions from the meetup participants. Join us if you are interested to submit your talk!

world?
I
guess
many
of
you
have
already
participated.
If
not

quick
introduction.

devops
world
started
in
2011
as
jenkins
user
conference,
then
it
was
renamed
to
jenkinsfold
and
now
it's
called
the
devops
world.
So
the
event
itself
has
a
long
history.
It
has
been
a
revolving
over
the
past
years,
so
it
started
as
gen
cancer.
On
the
event,
then
other
topics
were
added.
Now
the
focus
is
rather
on
the
entire
devops
ecosystem
and
processes.

there
is
a
focus
on
developer
tools
such
as
leadership,
trucks,
practitioner
drugs
and
also
community
trucks,
including
the
box
communities
and
organizing
events,
but
jenkins
still
has
a
very
strong
representation
at
the
conference
about
25
percent
or
30.
Percent
of
talks
are
related
to
jenkins
and
the
hospital
is
a
really
big
conference.
So
last
year
we
had
25
registrations
and
at
least
the
2000
participants,
so
why
I
say
at
least
because
this
is
how
many
participants
I
had
in
my
talk
there.

that
there
are
much
more
participants
and
yeah
have
representatives
from
many
countries
and
from
main
speakers.

it's
a
nice
event
and
all
the
talks
already

areas

we
gather

we
have
asked
the
experts

There
are
hundreds

participants
coming
asking
any

demos

we
had
to
demos
by
jsoc
students
and
various
live
demos
for
futures,
basically
just
developed
yesterday,
some
times
literally,
because
we
had
hackathons
before
the
event,
and
we
use
the
community
boost
to
demo

are
main
meetings
because
it's
one
of
the
places
where
jenkins
contributors
meet
in
person
this
year.

event

be
visual,
but
we
still
want
to

a
booth
and
have
a
lot

community
discussions

contributor
summit.
It's
a
event
up
to
100
participants,
where
we
talk
about
jenkins
evolution
about
the
various
key
stories
about
the
roadmap
for
the
project,
and
we
also
have
a
user
representation
there.

users
shrink
up
their
concerns,
they
need
and
we'll
try
to
discuss
the
revolution.
