Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
all
right
welcome
to
the
Jenkins
documentation
office
hours.
This
is
the
European
hours
version
here
on
October
27
2022..
Today
we
have
myself
and
Bruno
broctor,
but
we're
recording
this
for
everyone.
So
everyone's
here
on
the
agenda
today,
I've
had
a
few
action
items
regarding
blog
posts
and
a
couple
other
updates:
a
quick
update
about
devops
world
2022,
since
that's
now
officially
rescheduled
and
planned.
We
have
the
next
LTS
coming
out
and
we
had
our
weekly
release.
A
2.375
released
this
past
Tuesday
and
finally,
just
in
Oktoberfest
updates
for
everyone,
since
it's
the
27th
we're
getting
close
to
the
end
of
the
month,
but
we've
had
so
much
work
that
I
just
want
to
highlight
it
for
everyone
to
see
cool
anything
else
that
we
want
to
add
to
the
agenda
or
zosa.
A
Cool
so
action
items
we
have
a
couple
of
the
the
two
of
the
glue
summer
of
code.
Blog
posts
were
posted
and
published
a
couple
a
week
or
two
ago,
if
I'm
not
mistaken
again,
thank
you
to
the
participants.
That
was
a
lot
of
work
and
they
did
some
great
progress
in
the
projects
they
were
participating
in.
A
We
had
a
monthly
Jenkins
newsletter
bag
posted
in
towards
the
end
of
September,
beginning
of
October.
There's
going
to
be
another
edition
coming
out
in
the
next
couple
weeks,
because
it's
again
almost
the
end
of
October,
so
we'll
have
more
updates
for
that
again.
This
isn't
a
standard
newsletter
where
you'll
get
an
email
notification
necessarily,
but
it
is
a
blog
post
on
the
Jenkins
Community
blog
so,
and
this
should
have
tags
like
newsletter
and
community
so
that
we're
going
to
have
a
specific
section
for
the
newsletters
as
well.
A
Once
we
have
multiple
editions,
we're
going
to
make
it
a
lot
more
navigatable
and
group
everything
together
so
that
it's
all
in
the
same
place,
one
of
the
other
blog
posts
and
items
that
come
up
in
the
last
week
or
two
is
the
Jenkins
governance
elections.
These
are
now
officially
open
and
everyone.
That's
a
contributor
to
Jenkins,
can
register
to
vote
and
submit
nominations
for
candidates.
The
blog
post
itself
has
all
the
up-to-date
instructions
for
doing
all
these
things.
A
We've
got
the
four
phases
of
the
election
instructions
on
voting
and
how
to
contribute,
there's
tons
of
ways
to
contribute
to
Jenkins.
So,
instead
of
trying
to
figure
out
how
One
Compares
to
another
everything's
valid,
we
trust
people
any
users
that
want
to
register.
You
know
go
for
it.
We
do
reserve
the
right
to
see
it.
You
know
if
we
see
anything
happening,
any
kind
of
abuse,
anything
of
not
up
to
our
code
of
conduct.
A
We
will
take
actions
necessary,
but
outside
of
that,
it's
just
going
to
be
a
great
chance
for
users
that
are
working
in
Jenkins
to
have
a
voice,
contribute
have
a
say
in
the
future
of
Jenkins
and
help
make
sure
that
the
future
of
Jenkins
is
right.
A
A
We've
got
key
dates,
so
the
election,
so
the
voter
registration
and
nominations
have
been
open
since
last
Thursday
November
10th
is
going
to
be
the
nomination
deadline,
so
we
want
to
make
sure
that
three
full
weeks
for
everyone
and
then
on
the
17th
candidates
will
be
announced.
The
registration
closes
and
people
will
be
able
to
start
voting
at
that
point
in
time.
A
Second
is
when
voting
ends
and
the
current
term,
and
so
we'll
be
publishing
the
results
shortly
after
that
and
the
newly
elected
members
will
be
stepping
into
their
roles
on
December
3rd
4th
roughly
to
begin
the
new
year
and
the
new
term
again,
anyone
can
join
in
anyone
can
nominate
anyone
can
vote,
provided,
you're
contributing
to
Jenkins
the
election.
Voter
group
2022
is
where
you
go
to
vote.
The
election
committee
group
is
where
you
can
nominate
folks
and
once
we
get
to
that
point
of
November
17th.
A
A
So
this
is
coming
up.
This
is
happening
right
now,
I
should
say,
and
yeah
we've
already
got
about
15
to
20
people
signed
up
for
the
election
voter
group
itself.
Again,
thank
you
to
Damian
de
portal
and
the
others
that
are
overseeing
the
elections
this
year.
Much
appreciated.
A
And
we
do
have
a
separate
governance,
Board
election
process
page
right
now,
it's
updated
for
the
2020
elections.
There
is
a
pull
request
already
in
place
to
update
it
for
now.
So
once
that
has
been
approved
emerged
that
will
update
the
election
process
page
so
that
everything
will
be
uniform
across
the
blog
post
and
actual
information
page
and
again,
the
registration
period
and
candidate
nomination
period
is
currently
open.
So
by
all
means,
take
a
minute.
Go
register.
A
Okay,
next
quick
update
on
devops
world
2022
again
it
was
postponed
due
to
Hurricane,
Ian
and
Florida.
So
now
it
is
going
to
be
held
not
next
Wednesday,
but
the
Wednesday.
After
so
two
weeks
from
yesterday,
November
9th
it's
gonna
be
online.
Anyone
that's
already
registered
for
doe
Ops
World
2022
already
has
access
to
it.
A
They
won't
have
to
do
anything
new,
but
because
it's
online
it's
available
for
anyone
to
join
up
and
sign
up
for
there's
two
different
sessions
that
will
be
had
one
for
the
APAC
area
and
then
one
for
North
America,
South
America
that
air
that
area
in
the
contributor
Summit
that
we
had
originally
planned
to
hold
will
be
kind
of
remixed
into
a
few
smaller
sessions.
A
That
will
do
so
over
a
course
of
time
so
that
we
can
get
as
many
people
in
and
provide
as
much
help
as
we
can
so
that.
B
A
Yeah,
of
course,
so
yeah
so
devops,
World
2022
is
still
a
thing.
It's
available
the
website
registration
there
and
more
to
come
on
the
contributor
Summit.
We
have
the
November
LTS
coming
out
next
week
on
the
second,
so
that
is
2.361.3
Alex
Barnes
has
been
the
release,
lead
working
on
back
ports
and
everything
else.
The
change,
log
and
upgrade
guide
has
been
created
and
some
open
for
review.
A
So
if
anyone
wants
to
take
a
look
and
make
suggestions,
comments,
feedback,
anything
by
all
means,
please
I'm
more
than
happy
to
help
and
take
any
of
it
and
do
what
I
can
we
also
had
our
weekly
2.375
release
on
Tuesday
went
through
successfully.
A
This
one
actually
had
a
great
deal
of
enhancements
and
fixes,
and
as
we
look
to
our
next
LTS
Baseline
2.375
is
a
really
strong
candidate
just
because
of
how
much
it
does
and
how
much
how
much
it
brings
so
right
now.
That's
where
people
are
where
we're
at,
but
time
will
tell
when
we
get
to
that
point.
So.
A
Course,
yeah
and
little
things
like
the
icons
being
updated
and
and
just
a
little
Visual
and
enhancements
like
that
are
prevalent
so
yeah,
it's
fun
to
take
a
look
through
and
try
to
find
the
Spot,
the
Difference
so
to
speak.
A
Last
thing
on
the
agenda
for
today
is
Oktoberfest.
It's
October
27th,
so
again
we're
27
days
into
Oktoberfest.
Now
we
have
the
live
stream
for
weeks.
Three,
just
this
past
Tuesday
with
jean-mar
and
Darren
Pope.
A
Everything
is
going
amazing.
As
far
as
the
stats
go
I
saw,
John
Mark
had
posted
that
we
have
over
500
pull
requests
submitted
from
over
a
hundred
different
computers
that
that's
insane
and
he
had
actually
mentioned
the
numbers
compared
to
last
year
and
it's
something
like
200,
more
full
requests
and
yeah
25
or
30.
More
contributors
like
this
has
just
been
unreal.
A
As
far
as
the
documentation
goes,
I
was
actually
going
through
earlier
and
making
sure
that
hectoberfest
labels
were
applied
to
anyone.
That's
been
participating
or
submitted,
so
we
have
45
PR's
for
the
documentation
aspect
of
Jenkins
by
itself
and
13
different
contributors,
and
for
me,
that's
just
incredible
that
many
people
and
that
much
work
being
done,
even
if
the
smallest
thing
to
the
biggest
it
doesn't
matter.
People
care
and
people
are
contributing,
and
that's
just
incredible.
B
Yeah
and
so
people
even
want
to
rock
with
translation,
I
saw
a
few
messages
on
the
mailing
list
on
people
wanting
to
translate.
Jenkins
core
and
I
saw
also
a
plug-in
maintainer
for
the
plug-in
lockable
resources
which
got
migrated
to
crowding
this
week,
and
that's
very
good
news.
We
have
now
10
plugins
instead
of
nine
plugins
using
crowding.
So
it's
a
small
beginning,
but
it's
starting
to
smell
good.
A
That's
great
and
obviously
crowded
as
we
get
more
people
onto
crowd
and
that'll
be
a
lot
easier
to
create
than
Publishers
translations
as
it's
a
lot.
It's
a
lot
more
user-friendly
on
for
that.
All
that
so
yeah.
B
Yeah
I
saw
the
discussion,
sorry
on
the
mailing
list
regarding
translating
to
Russian,
for
example,
and
there
were
some
very
knowledgeable
people
saying
all
horror
stories
that
happened
previously
when
people
tried
to
translate
the
Jenkins
core
to
a
whole
nother
language.
So
it's
not
an
easy
task
and
I'm
not
saying
that
it
should
migrate
to
crowding.
That's
not
what
I'm
telling
I
know
it's
a
very
tedious
task
to
migrate,
such
a
big
hunk
of
code
to
Crowley,
but
for
plugins.
That's
a
nice
and
easy
process.
You
know.
A
Yeah,
absolutely
and
if
I'm
not
mistaken,
I
think
it
was
over
the
late
spring
early
summer,
Alex
brandes
who's,
the
release,
lead
and
one
of
the
Jacobs
contributors
that
we
work
with
constantly
actually
was
giving
us
pointers,
tips
and
kind
of
a
walk
through
on
crowded
and
just
how
it
works.
So
those
have
all
been
recorded.
Those
are
all
in
the
archive
those
are
available.
A
If
anyone's
curious,
you
can
get
a
you
know,
general
idea,
for
it
see
some
of
the
finer
points,
etc,
etc,
but
that
is
available
in
the
doc's
office
hours
archive
so
and.
B
There
is
also
Jenkins
Meetup
that
we
made
this
year
regarding
crowding
in
i18n,
and
we
described
how
crudino
works
and
so
on.
So,
if
you
want
to
give
it
a
try,
first
of
all
have
a
look
at
this
video
on
the
Jenkins
YouTube
channel.
It's
there
and
you'll
see
it's
kind
of
easy.
No,
it's
Uber
easy.
A
Thank
you,
nice
and
then
actually
Bruno.
Do
you
have
that
link
readily
available
right
this
moment
right
now
or
no,
if
not
no
worries,
I
was
just
gonna.
Add
it
in
real
quickly,
but
yeah.
A
Okay,
perfect
so
yeah
last
notes
about
Oktoberfest.
Most
of
the
PRS
have
been
merged.
I
think
there's
only
eight
open
right
now
that
still
need
to
get
either
final
approval
or
just
merged
in
general
and
I.
Think
there's
a
couple
of
UI
ones
that
I
want
to
have
at
least
a
few
other
eyes
on
before
I.
Consider
merging
them
just
because
I
really
want
to
make
sure
the
website.
A
Jenkins
doesn't
have
any
issues
displaying
rendering
Etc,
but
there
was
one
earlier
today
that
actually
revamped
the
navigation
for
the
reverse
proxy
server
setups,
that's
okay!
So
the
navigation's
a
little
bit
better
and
just
to
show
that.
A
Configuration
so
now
all
the
reverse
proxies
are
actually
listed
under
the
reverse
proxy
configuration,
and
so
we're
only
expanding
that
when
someone
decides
to
click
on
it,
as
opposed
to
just
having
everything
listed
out
here
but
yeah,
it's
not
much
better
for
sure
so
yeah.
So
we've
got
a
lot
of
great
work.
Coming
in
we've
got
some
kubernetes
documentation,
information.
That's
going
to
be
added!
We've
got
new
Jenkins
logos.
We've
got
fixes
for
existing
documents
like
all
sorts
of
stuff.
So
that's
just
going
to
be
really
awesome
and
exciting.
A
Once
we
finish
up
and
get
to
do,
a
proper
retrospective
on
Oktoberfest
there'll
be
a
blog
post,
recapping
it
and
sharing
some
of
the
stories
and
experiences
that
our
participants
have
had
so
keep
an
eye
out
for
that
in
the
next
coming
weeks.
A
Great
Okay,
so
we've
gotten
through
our
agenda
I,
don't
have
anything
else
to
add
on
to
it
right
now.
Bruno.
B
A
A
Yep
figured
I'd
make
sure
just
in
case
anything
popped
up,
but
thank
you
with
that
being
said,
we'll
end
the
recording
it'll
be
available
in
24
to
48
hours
and
posted
in
the
community
discourse
where
it
always
is
so.
Thank
you
very
much
and
have
a
good
one.
