From YouTube: Docs SIG 2019 05 10
Description
Jenkins documentation special interest group meeting from May 10, 2019. This is the first meeting the docs SIG. It includes several organizing and planning topics
B
B
B
Further
down
and
when
he
arrives
we'll
bring
it
onto
the
agenda.
So
that's
what
I
propose
is:
let's
talk
first
about
the
docs
special
interest
group
infrastructure
and
that
way
we
make
sure
that
we
know
what
actions
the
two
of
you
and
others
who
want
to
help
with
thoughts
can
take
specifically
so
that
they
can
better
assist
with
dogs.
B
B
A
John
with
Jenkins,
X
and
I
think
Kim
Nylander.
A
B
B
B
B
Wonderful
thanks
for
being
here
and
welcome,
Kristin
great
to
have
you
here
as
well
and
John
has
joined
John.
We
just
assigned
an
action
item
to
you
to
provide
us
that
some
hints
on
how
to
contribute
or
learn
how
to
contribute
to
Jenkins
idols
dogs,
because
I
think
it's
different
than
how
we
contribute
to
the
Jenkins
tayo
dogs.
B
B
We
were
one
of
two
hundred
groups
that
applied
only
50
were
selected
in
this
inaugural
year.
We
weren't
one
of
those
50,
but
all
I
got
asked
hey.
Let's
have
a
retrospective
to
be
sure
that
we
get
better
at
doing
this,
and
if
there
is
a
google
season
of
dogs
next
year
we
have
a
better
chance
of
winning
so
alike.
But
you
want
to
leave
that
discussion.
Yeah.
D
I
cannot
share
my
screen
now,
but
I
can
briefly
explain
what
are
the
main
weaknesses,
so
yeah
I
spent
some
time
go
incur
to
throw
a
separate
organizations,
so
our
biggest
problem
at
that
we
didn't
really
have
a
veggie,
so
trending
page
because
yeah
almost
every
organization
in
the
circuit
Easter,
they
have
created
some
pages.
You
know
on
the
oxide
so
in
each
have
to
be
kiyose
whatever,
but
we
had
a
kind
of
landing
pages.
I'm
in
the
case
of
Jenkins
I
believe
that
finals
I
did
a
submission.
B
D
D
Mentors,
for
example,
Jenkins
X
project
idea
didn't
have
potential
mentors
listed
project
ideas
like
let's
improve,
plug-in
developer,
the
communication,
a
yeah
it
had
no
mentors,
and,
moreover,
it
had
unresolved
comments
about,
for
example,
me
in
Daniel
Beck
whether
he
would
be
interested
without
any
response
yeah.
Just
because
this
Google
Doc
wasn't
supposed
to
be
a
final
doc,
we
would
have
been
submitted
so
yeah.
If
I
was
a
reviewing
this
application,
it
would
be
a
kind
of
hero
fought
for
me
immediately.
D
And
we
Yammer
alway,
we
didn't
have
links
from
these
Google
Doc
page
to
other
documentation.
Now
resources.
We
have
intelligence
community
example,
Jenkins
CI
dogs,
many
increased.
So
again
it
comes
to
the
lack
of
landing
page
because
yeah,
what
we
have
usually
we
have
a
page
with
all
contacts
mentioned,
whether
it's
special
interest
group
of
project.
We
have
the
information
on
the
Jenkins
on
your
site
and
yeah
for
google
season
of
dogs
community
bonding
and
crystal
an
important
part.
B
D
Know,
moreover,
if
we
are
doing
with
respect,
if
you
took
an
action
item
to
prepare
landing
pages,
so
yeah
I
moved
on
to
other
things,
but
then
you
didn't
have
have
time
I
to
actually
opposed
the
pages.
So
if
you
have
said
me
that
you
have
no
capacity
to
post
these
pages,
maybe
I
would
have
approached
it
differently
and
I
would
have
created
to
the
content.
D
F
D
D
Actually
I
didn't
expect
so
high
competition
because
a
season
of
dogs,
my
name,
please,
do
not
a
detective
slack,
wasn't
a
detective,
but
he
it
looks.
Like
my
organizations
yeah.
The
announcement
about
jihad
has
been
distributed,
tall
JSOC
organizations,
so
we
have
many
of
them
applied
silently
and
we
have.
Finally,
we
get
a
lot
of
applications
number.
B
D
Well,
probably,
we
could
have
facilitated
the
will
season
of
dogs
more
in
the
community
channels
because,
yes
and
a
couple
of
males-
but
really
we
didn't-
do
any
focused
that
was
Monday
in
the
community,
mostly
due
to
the
lack
of
time,
because
he
wasn't
very
obvious,
a
JSOC
which
was
pretty
hot
and
yeah
I
also
have
some
other
stuff
to
do
so,
yeah,
maybe
if
we
have,
but
we
would
have
got
but
more
visibility,
more
project
ideas,
etc,
etc.
So,
when.
D
G
F
Just
before
we
go
on
to
the
positives,
I
just
want
to
say:
I
mean
I
think
it
seems,
like
you
know,
marks
lack
of
time
to
work
on
this.
You
know
kind
of
hindered
some
of
the
things
that
we
needed
to
do
to
to
compete
with
the
other
applications.
I.
Think
that
put
that
here
and
then
you
know
next
year
address
whether
you
know
we've
someone
who
can
work
on
it
during
unclouded
time.
You
know,
maybe
if
that
makes
it
easier
or
allows
us
to
get
everything
done,
and
you
know
whether.
H
D
For
me,
it
was
a
bit
different
because
because
originally
had
time
reserved
for
creating
g-suit
landing
pages,
etc,
so
yeah
I
just
moved
on
to
other
things.
When
Mark
said
he
will
do
that
so
yeah
first
I
can
but
so
yeah.
Maybe
it's
an
action
item
for
you
mark
that
if
you
see
that
you
have
lack
of
time,
just
let
people
know
because
we
had
a
lot
of
people
in
infinite
energy
search
and
we
could
have
followed
balanced
at
what
right.
B
F
D
F
F
So
you
know
if,
if
someone
on
my
team
needs
to
have
cloud
these
time
dedicated
to
being
one
of
the
coordinators
next
year,
I'm
happy,
you
know
to
offer
that
I
think
that
you
know
that
we're
going
to
spend
the
next
year,
especially
on
the
Jenkins,
X
I'd,
really
being
a
larger
part
of
the
community.
You
know
John's
are
the
attending
office
hours
and
has
a
lot
of
proposals
in
place
and
we
certainly
want
to
do
the
same
for
Jenkins.
F
You
know
I
know
Traci
was
you
know
the
second
coordinator
or
whatever
it
was
called
I'm
happy
for
someone
on
my
team
to
be
that.
But
you
know
I,
don't
I
don't
want
to.
You
know,
take
it
away
from
mark.
If
he,
if
you
know
he
feels
strongly
that
he
wants
to
do
it
at
a
time
but
I'm
just
putting
it
out
there,
I
can
dedicate
you
know
cloud
base
time
to
it.
B
D
And
maybe
we
also
could
get
some
support
from
a
CDF
next
year,
because
yeah
there
are
four
projects
and
I
believe
that
all
of
these
projects
different
from
but
would
benefit
from
budget
documentation.
So
this
he
ate
was
just
too
early
to
even
consider
coordinating
it
in
CDF,
but
maybe
next
year
we
could
try
to
do
so
right,
very
good.
B
D
F
Think
positives,
I
think
the
idea,
the
topic
ideas.
We
had
we're
really
good
right.
We
were
able
to
come
together
as
a
group
and
propose
some
great
topics.
So
since
deacons
in
Jake
and
Dex,
it's
like
Kristen
thing.
She
thought
the
same
thing
and
I
think
we
we
did
not
lack
for
mentors
within
this
group.
We
just
didn't
you
know,
do
a
great
job
out
communicating
that
in
our
application,
so.
G
G
To
sort
of
say,
hey
I'd
like
to
be
part
of
this,
so
that
was
really
good
and
you
know
it
has
led
to
the
sig
so
as
a
trigger
point
for
a
documentation,
sig
I
think
that's
fantastic
and
I
also
say:
I,
don't
know
if
this
was
shared
earlier,
but
the
feedback
was
that
they
had
200
organizations
apply
and
only
50
made
it.
So
you
know
in
some
ways
like
until
we
get
application
clean.
G
We
might
not
even
know
that
you
know
there
was
nothing
we
could
have
done
because
they
were
just
50,
shiny
or
shinier
ones,
but
yeah
just
to
get
that
application.
You've
been
done
and
people
organize
for
that.
You
know
with
a
number
of
working
in
their
spare
time.
I
think
that's
amazing.
We
should
be.
You
know,
proud
and
happy
of
that,
but
that.
D
Know
one
thing
probably
similar
to
dogs
seek
yeah.
The
fact
that
we
didn't
get
accepted
to
do
sought
was
another
factor
which
finally
made
me
to
see
respect
for
community
bridge
platform,
but
some
think
I
added
to
the
agenda
for
the
yesterday's
advocacy
and
outreach
sig,
but
yeah.
Maybe
we'll
discuss
it
next
time,
but
here
much
for
inquest
or
another
program,
maybe
in
autumn
and
yeah
doing
something
for
the
commutation
there
feasible.
So
it's
not
limited
to
Kodiak
like
JSOC.
B
Okay
I'd
like
to
shift
gears,
then
we've
only
got
about
another
20
minutes
and
I
wanted
to
be
sure
that
we
have
a
chance
to
take
some
specific
topics
or
Oh.
Like
are
you?
Are
you,
okay
with
us
shifting
gears
in
terms
of
the
retrospective?
Would
you
like
us
to
capture
some
specific
action
items?
Well,.
D
I
think
that
yeah,
we
didn't
certainly
discuss
what
we
want
to
improve,
but
yeah.
Actually
we
can
discuss
it
at
the
next
meeting,
so
everybody
can
think
whatever
you
want
to
improve
and
then
we
meet
again
and
discuss
how
to
improve
the
framework.
Maybe
by
this
time
you
will
have
a
seat
skeleton
so
that
yeah
we
can
set
it
for
the
next
weekend.
I.
B
Then
I
wanted
to
I
wanted
to
steal
some
time
be
in
this
meeting
agenda
to
encourage
us
in
terms
of
the
doc
sig
and
specific
things
we
can
do
right
now
to
begin
contributing
to
Jenkins
stocks
and
Jenkins
egg
stocks.
So
that
was
my
my
muzzle
on
this
next
segment
is:
let's
find
ways
that,
because
we
were
on
the
call,
all
of
us
on
the
call
can
become
more
actively
involved
in
helping
the
Jenkins
stocks
efforts
and
the
Jenkins
ex
Doc's
efforts.
B
So
first
piece
is
I
need
to
follow
the
instructions
that
have
been
given
in
the
Jenkins
enhancement
proposal
for
jet.
For
that
say
how
we
create
the
docs
sick
and
we're
in
process
of
doing
that.
Pull
request
needs
to
be
made.
That's
if
you
can
do
enjoying
this
github
copy
editors
team,
so
you'll
find
the
hyperlink
there.
This
grant
you
permission,
assist
with
reviewing
submissions
to
the
Jenkins,
I/o
doc
site
and
as
mentors.
B
One
of
our
key
roles
is
to
review
the
confusion
of
others
and
help
them
get
those
contributions
submitted
to
the
Jenkins
Dickinson
io
site
now
John
or
Tammy
I,
don't
know
how
to
contribute
to
Jenkins
eggs
documentation.
Would
you
be
willing
to
do
a
blog
post
or
take
on
the
action
item
to
do
a
blog
post
for
us
a.
B
B
F
I'm
thinking
that
we
need
John,
if
you
could
look
at
the
Jenkins
X
community,
Docs
right
now
and
find
that
you
know
the
section
about
contributing
if
it
doesn't
exist
right
it
right-
maybe
it
just
doesn't
even
exist
at
all
and
then
my
cloud
Z's
blog
on
how
you
were
able
to
join
the
community
like
what
step
she
went
through
right,
join
the
office
hours
make
a
proposal
start
doing
pull
request
and
then
getting
accepted
into
the
proper
github
groups
right,
there's
a
flat
channel.
You
join
all
of
that
stuff.
F
I
F
C
Two
questions
from
me
actually,
because
I
took
a
look
into
the
list
of
repositories
right
now,
so
I
don't
see
in
the
current
content.
6
according
to
project
for
I,
don't
see
the
G
sold
there
at
all
and
the
other
thing
the
copy
editors
team
that
is
linked
I
actually
cannot
I
get
a
photo
for
so
I
don't
see
a
way
yeah
same
here,
I
got
a
404.
D
G
D
D
D
So
another
Twitter
person
to
copy
editors
team
I
would
like
to
see
at
least
some
track
of
contribution
to
the
Jenkins
organization.
But
again
you
don't
have
to
be
a
member
of
copy
editors
team
in
order
to
review
changes.
You
can
just
subscribe
to
the
repository
and
that's
it
once
you
subscribe
to
the
repository.
You
will
get
indications
about
new
boutique
ways.
So
then
you
can
just
review
them
or
eventually
we
can
grant
you
mercy
admissions.
So
copy
editors
effectively
means
merge
permission.
D
B
D
It's
my
interpretation.
We
don't
have
so
we
have
a
kind
of
room
type
policy
for
Jenkins
core,
but
yeah
Jenkins
core
is
a
bit
well,
it's
more
risky
when
editors
most
likely
members
of
copy
editors
also
need
to
sign
individual
contributor.
The
License
Agreement
miss
Jenkins,
because
once
you
get
notifications
on
Geneseo,
you
can
screw
the
entire
website.
D
B
H
D
G
G
H
The
cloud
the
sorry
with
Jenkins
too,
because
you
have
all
this
like
there's
a
lot
of
documentation
out
there
and
unfortunately
the
website
and
I
was
going
through
and
looking
at
some
of
this
occupation,
you
could
see
a
whole
bunch
of
little
triangle
warning
signs
where
it
was
just
kind
of
exclamation
points.
This.
I
H
D
Totally
I
believe
is
Kristin.
Actually
we
already
spent
some
time
creating.
You
know
friendly
tickets.
So
there
is
a
website
project
in
Jenkins
JIRA
and
for
the
last
October
fest
in
one
southern
agent
we
created
a
video.
We
found
oh
great.
It
may
be
15
newbie
friendly
tickets
on
the
website.
Obviously,.
D
D
H
B
D
Also,
we
actually
do
have
documentation
tickets
in
Jenkins
project
I
mean
Jenkins
Jetta
project,
because
we
have
a
lot
of
documentation
embedded
in
the
github
repositories
or
built
in
documentation.
So
maybe
we
could
also
create
a
query
which
takes
it
account.
So
I
can
prepare
this
better
or
you
can
create
this
query
mark
so.
B
D
C
Is
there
a
central
page
that
describes
actually
the
current
drop
projects
and
the
tickets
that
should
be
used
were
and
when
I
mean
for
for
that
previous
points
right
that
we
wrote
use
the
website,
JIRA
tickets
prefer
Allah
and
stuff
like
that.
Do
we
have
a?
Is
there
any
page
in
conference
currently
that
the
stripes,
all
the
project
authority
in
the
issue,
is
Iran
I?
Don't.
C
No,
no
I'm
talking
about
projects
so
like
all
it
mentioned
that
you
know,
there's
a
new
project
and
there
is
a
specific
label
under
that
project.
That
is
first
thing,
dots
and
like
considering
there
are.
There
are
a
lot
of
other
sticks
or
ideas
and
stuff
in
that
JIRA
I
think
it's
good
for
the
newbies.
A
Just
you
know
how
things
have
worked
and
how
they
and
how
they
are
working,
what
processes
are
in
place
or
how
things
things
are
decided.
I
know,
I
know
from
from
my
perspective,
is
somebody
coming
to
this
new
I
felt
like
the
decision.
Making
process
was
a
little
opaque
and
just
not
intuitively
instantly,
understandable
and-
and
it
made
me
nervous
about
about
trying
to
jump
in
because
I
didn't
want
to
step
on
toes.
G
C
You
know
this
is
I'm
less
concerned
about
the
history
and
why?
Why
did
things
change
but
I'm
more
concerned
about
how
they
work
actually
right
now,
right
because,
like
I
always
spend
like,
for
instance,
I,
don't
know
with
Jenkins
right
I
spent
all
day.
Looking
word,
the
security
things
are
written
down
in
the
codes
that
are
like
showing
up
in
the
UI
right,
because
I
couldn't
find
it
anywhere
in
the
documentation.
I
mean
okay
for
the
developers.
It's
fine
so
to
dig
into
the
codes
right.
B
C
B
B
D
Well,
sorry,
yeah
just
I
wanted
to
answer
your
previous
question.
So
I
think
me
before
the
next
meeting.
We
should
discuss
a
Jenkins
plug
inside
because
it's
one
of
the
ways
for
users
to
get
documentation
about
onions
and
we're
right
now
the
state
of
this
plugin
site
is
far
from
optimal
I'm,
not
sure
whether
it's
exactly
dogfaec,
but
it's
something
we
could
discuss.
F
F
F
B
D
D
B
H
H
B
Okay,
excellent,
okay,
so
consider
that
we'll
add
that
to
as
a
topic
to
the
future
meeting
and
we
can
do
research
on
it,
etc.
We
can
certainly
use
the
getter
channel
and
the
Jenkins
CI
Docs
mailing
list
for
discussions
on
the
topic
without
having
to
be
in
the
meeting.
Excellent.
Thank
you,
okay.
So
we
now
are
at
two
minutes
prior
to
what
our
scheduled
end
time
is
one
last
negotiation
here
is:
when
how
often
do
we
want
to
meet
and
at
what
recommended
time,
so
the
sig
requirement
is.
D
B
Good,
so
let's
I'm
gonna
take
it
as
we're
gonna
go
for
your
meeting
frequency
every
two
weeks
until
we
decide
differently
because
that
works
for
me
and
given
the
inner
energy
level
that
seems
to
be
in
this
meeting.
I
like
that
Western
Europe
in
eastern
Asia
or
given
the
folks
who
are
on
this
call,
seemed
to
be
at
the
moment
at
least
all
in
Western
Europe,
due
to
a
Western
Europe
time
stone.
Do
you
want
me
to
just
to
Western
Europe?
B
D
It's
a
topic
to
discuss
from
the
mining
keys
because
yeah
I'm
not
sure,
what's
the
rig's
availability
for
UNIX,
but
here
we
definitely
wanted
to
discuss
some
topics
about
documentation,
especially
in
a
Chinese
mother,
right
yeah.
So
my
yeah,
it's
not
necessary
to
have
a
special
dog
stick.
We
can't
put
it
because
we
can
just
go
to
Chinese
localization
chic,
but
you
alright,
let's
just
discuss
it
under
my
name.
Please
and.
B
D
B
Alright,
are
there
other
urgent
topics
that
we
need
to
get
we've
hit
the
end
of
our
40
minute,
sketch
or
45
minutes
scheduled
time?
Are
there
things
that
you're
concerned
about
that?
We
absolutely
must
discuss
if
not
I
propose
we
end
here
and
shift
to
discussing
things
in
the
in
the
online
chat
and
in
the
mailing
list.
