Hi, my name is natasha and I was the jenkins google summer of code student in 2019.. Before I did google summer of code. I had never really contributed to an open source prod project before and it's just an incredible experience.

So the jenkins community is super open and supportive for newbies and you'll also work on projects that can have real impact. So my project was working on a tool to help with plugin management.

That's since been downloaded over a hundred thousand times, so I would really encourage everyone to apply and um to try to get started, doing open source with jenkins, because it's a really amazing experience.
