Description
Office hours for Google Summer of Code in the Jenkins project, July 7, 2021.
A
Welcome
to
google
summer
of
code
office
hours
in
the
jenkins
project,
it's
the
7th
of
july
great
to
have
everybody
here,
reminder
that
we
abide
by
the
jenkins
code
of
conduct,
so
be
nice
to
each
other
kristin
thanks
for
joining
us
kiuchi-san.
Thank
you
also
for
joining
us
great
to
have
you
here.
B
A
A
So
we're
approaching
the
end
of
phase
one.
It
officially
ends
july
16
and
we
would
like
to
have
each
student
present
a
a
summary
of
their
results
from
phase
one
in
a
15-minute
presentation
and
five
minutes
of
q,
a
on
some
one
of
the
days
during
the
week
of
july
19,
because
we
have
six
projects
underneath
the
cdf
umbrella
six
projects,
each
20
minutes
will
be
exactly
two
hours
and
with
it
being
two
hours.
That's
that,
for
us
is
a
great
time.
That's
a
good
webinar.
B
B
A
Well,
no,
it
will
not,
and-
and
in
particular
I
believe
the
evaluation
will
be.
I
don't
know
if
the
evaluation
is
shared
with
you
individually.
I
think
it
is
but
but
that
we
just
didn't
want
to
distract
you
at
the
end
of
phase
one.
We
want
to
be
sure
you
have
all
the
time
you
can
to
finish
your
phase,
one
work
and
then
can
report
on
it.
Okay,
that's
what
that's
what
I
want
to
ask
you
today,
yeah
excellent
well
and
thank
you.
A
B
B
A
What
what
time
is
it
your
time
two
and
this
three?
Yes,
so.
A
One
of
the
things
we're
considering
is
it
would
be
possible
to
have.
It
may
be
possible
to
have
you
record
your
presentation
and
have
your
mentors
answer
the
q,
a
because
this
is
roughly
the
time.
So
this
time,
plus
or
minus
an
hour
is
probably
when
we
would
do
the
presentations
and-
and
I
apologize
that
it's
not
friendly
to
to
asian
time
zones.
I'm
really
sorry
about
that.
A
C
I
think
our
project
is
going
really
well,
I
it's
been
interesting
because
we
were
so
like
very
spread
out
as
a
mentor
and
student
team,
but
there's
been
a
lot
of
communication
on
our
channel
and
we've
been
doing
a
lot
of
coordination.
That
way-
and
I
think
that
some
of
it's
just
been
so
fascinating
to
also
see
how
to
build
a
whole
bunch
of
different
types
of
projects.
C
So
I
think,
like
that,
like
not
only
do
we
have
that
kind
of
like
experience
of
how
to
basically
figure
out
versions,
it's
it's
we're
learning
a
lot
about
how
to
build
the
different
types
of
projects
figure
out,
how
to
upgrade
them,
and
I
think
I
think
it's
going
well.
The
big
thing
we're
pushing
forward
is
is
to
try
to
do
the
first
release
of
the
plug-in,
so
we
will
have
like
a
big
like
a
version
one,
and
we
have
a
lot
of
other.
C
You
know
things
for
the
second
phase
of
coding,
but
that's
been.
Our
big
drive
is
to
have
the
first
release
of
it
out
for
people
to
be
able
to
download,
because
that
way
you
know
yeah
it
will
be
available
for
people
to
you
know
you
see
it
at
the.
I
guess
at
the
presentation
and
you
can
immediately
start
using
it
so
we're
I
think,
we're
going
to
hit
it.
So
I'm
pretty
excited.
A
Oh,
that,
that's
great
and
and
we've
the
get
credentials
binding,
has
the
same
approach.
We're
trying
to
our
goal
is
to
release
a
first
version
in
time
for
the
phase
one
review
phase,
one
evaluation,
so
that
we
can
highlight
hey
look
here.
It
is
it's
a
first
part
now,
in
our
case,
it'll
roughly
be
half
of
the
half
of
the
implementation,
not
not
the
whole.
C
Right,
that's
kind
of
what
we're
doing
too
like
so.
We
there's
the
one
piece
which
is
trying
to
cover
as
many
different
types
of
projects
as
possible
and
then
there's
a
whole
bunch
of
like
improving
what
actually
is
output,
so
the
whole
thing
that
we're
starting
with
is
like
all
right.
How
many
different
types
of
projects
can
we
cover
and
then
hopefully,
if
people
are
able
to
install
it,
because
we
already
got
a
suggestion
for
another
type
of
project,
which
is
it
which
is
really
we're
not
gonna
cover
it.
C
This
first
release
was
like
all
right.
This
is
great.
You
know
like
this
is
like
another
thing
that
can
cover
maybe
phase
two
we're
hoping
that
there
are
five
different
types.
I
think
that
we're
trying
to
cover
for
the
first
one,
but
luckily
it's
the
way
that
we
were
able
to
implement
it
was
very
flexible,
so
that
was
a
huge
plus
and
then
we
can
push
forward
into
the
second
phase.
C
A
A
B
I
don't
know
how
I
I
don't
know
my
progress
is
good
or
not
because
yeah
I'm,
I
couldn't
evaluate
my
work,
yeah
and
maybe
going
well,
but
I
couldn't
decide.
B
What
can
I
do
for
this
project
whole,
so
yeah,
I'm!
I
have
a
little
bit.
I
have
things
that
I
want
that.
I
don't
know
how
to
do
this
yet
so
I
yeah.
If
that
kind
of
thing
is
going
well,
it's
okay,
but
I
don't
know
how
it's
going,
how
it
will
go
yet
so
gotcha.
A
Then
that's
more
like
the
project
we
ran
last
year.
I
ran
a
project.
I
helped
I
mentored
a
project
last
year
where
we
didn't
know
at
the
very
beginning
exactly
what
the
answers
would
be
and
we
had
to
spend
quite
a
bit
of
time
exploring
to
find
answers
to
questions
so
and
that's
very
valuable
too.
That's
intensely
valuable,
but
it's
it's
different
than
oh
just
write
a
bunch
of
code,
yeah.
B
Yeah
I
understand
yeah
I
made
what
I
made
a
kind
of
detailed
documentation
in
the
detailed
yeah
documentation,
work
and
and
it's
very
complicated
and
we
I
got
a
lot
of
feedbacks
and
yeah
and
very
I
think,
it's
very
minimum
documentation,
design,
doc,
but
still
it's
very
difficult
to
construct.
B
B
A
A
A
All
right
well
I'd
propose
then,
let's,
let's
end
office
hours
for
today,
I
have
a
meeting
that
starts
in
about
15
minutes
that
I
need
to
attend
anyway.
So
this
is
great.
I
will
upload
a
recording
of
our
session
from
today
thanks
very
much
kyuchi-san.
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
kristen
son.
Thank
you
as
well.
Thanks.
