From YouTube: Community Call - June 18, 2018
Description
The Jitsi Community Call is held every other Monday at 10:30AM Central US time at https://meet.jit.si/TheCall
A
So
first
update,
you
don't
have
lights
even
indicators
in
mobile
I
actually
know
that's
in
the
private
book,
so
I
don't
think
Edwards
it's
in
source
as
well.
So
are
people
who
didn't
know.
First,
you
get
it
hi.
Everyone
welcome
to
this
week's
edition
of
the
Gypsy
community
called
a
couple
of
new
things.
A
So
we're
switching
our
mailing
lists.
Moving
to
the
sports,
you
are
now
all
encouraged
to
post
your
new
threads
through
this
force.
Mainly
discourse
we'd
rather
have
old
discussions
there,
which
means
not
on
the
mailing
lists,
not
in
the
github
issue.
Tracker
will
report
read
you
know
issues
so
hopefully
this
is
going
to
encourage
people
to
communicate
more
with
us.
We've
heard
a
lot
of
complaints
about
the
meaningless
beam,
the
non
user-friendly
way
for
the
community
to
open
itself
to
the
outside
world.
A
A
A
Speaking
of
George
just
fixed
the
problem
that
many
of
you
were
complaining
about,
it
is,
by
the
way
now
deploy,
don't
need
to
see
the
problem
where
video
would
get
turned
off
our
juniors
claiming
problems
with
Network.
It
turns
out
this
was
kind
of
instigated
by
the
juicy
video
bridge,
so
that's
fixed.
Now
we're
encouraging
everyone
to
update
for
a
better
user
experience,
multi
large
conferences,
large
both
articles
is
getting
ever
so
near
completion.
A
The
last
bit
that
we
wanted
to
have.
There
is
the
ability
for
bridges
to
register
and
make
themselves
available
here.
A
multi-user
chat,
a
mug
channel
and
not
a
pub
sub
channel,
the
idea
being
that
we
wanted
to
have
without
it
would
it
would
be
easier
for
us
to
implement
profits,
the
ability
for
a
single
bridge
to
register
with
multiple
prosody
servers,
so
that,
when
you
do
your
deployments,
you
can
basically
cross
connect
them
any
way.
A
Getting
the
bridge
created
closest
to
the
region
of
the
creator
and
then
potentially
ending
up
with
good
configurations
with,
let's
say
two
people
from
Europe
arcing
through
a
bridge
or
two
would
include.
Though
there
were
three
people
when
you're
parking
for
a
bridging
to
us,
because
the
creator
was
from
the
US
and
then
they.
A
So
Boris
is
done
with
an
implementation
of
that
in
G
powerful.
It's
not
yet
feared
it's
not
yet
merged,
but
it's
getting
really
close.
Unfortunately,
Boris
is
attending
conference
for
the
next
couple
weeks,
so
we
don't
expect
significant
progress
then,
but
we're
really
really
close
and
we're
in
fact
looking
forward
to
helping
someone
host
our
first
big
GC
events.
A
C
The
last
couple
of
weeks
is
the
developing
stuff,
and
this
week
that's
supposed
to
be
reviewed
in
words
I,
so
it
will
first
be
available
in
the
open
source
ecology
later
on
in
that
stores.
So
major
things,
so
we
we've
been
working
on
and
switching
to
the
latest
Webber
to
see
him
now
from
Google
will
merge
it
this
week,
probably
the
beginning
of
this
week.
The
second
one
is
was
made
apparent.
We
worked
on
recording
both
indicators
and
starting
the
recording
on
mobile.
That's
gotta
be
reviewed
in
much
probably
this
week
and
by
the.
A
C
Awesome
in
the
third
area
which
has
been
working
on
can
recall
efforts,
connection
conference
errors
and
dealing
with
them
properly
in
the
UI
sort
on
vacation
doesn't
swallow
them
amazing
all
the
height
events
at
that
height
I'm,
from
legitimate
SDK
for
Android
and
iOS
its
client,
so
that
they
behave
consistently
expectedly.
Those
are
three
main
areas
in
which
we
have
cut
features
developed
and
we
plan
to
merchants
week.
C
We've
also
identified
multiple
issues
with
performance
and
ways
to
address
them.
Those
are
most
apparent
on
Android,
but
also
visible
iOS.
So,
if
you're
in
planning
today,
we
decide
to
pursue
them
on
heavy
problems
to
the
performance
of
the
app
as
well.
That's
hopefulness
power.
Do
you
want
to
add
something.
C
A
E
In
your
demo,
you
added
some
support
due
to
me
to
do
layer
or
suspension
when
so,
if
you're
gonna
call
and
no
one
is
using,
your
HD
streams
will
actually
shut
those
off
on
the
sender.
So
that
way
you
don't
have
to
use
as
much
CPU
or
bandwidth.
So
hopefully,
in
your
conferences,
where
you're
spending
a
lot
of
time
as
a
thumbnail
you'll
have
a
much
easier
load
on
on
your
send
side.
That's
all
shipped
in
and
master
I,
don't
know
that
we
have
it
enabled
on
any
of
our
environments.
A
A
A
E
A
Wait
a
little
bit
before
they
declare
that
the
quality
is
better
just
so
that
fluctuations
and
quality
do
not
immediately
alert
the
user
of
a
problem
because,
okay,
thank
you
for
the
update,
Brian
I.
Think
Lenny
has
some
work
planned
about
making
initial
connections
to
do.
Prosody
a
little
bit.
Failed
initial
connections,
probably
a
little
bit
less
noticeable
to
the
user,
specifically
in
cases
where
you're
using
H
a
proxy
for
load
balancing
and
you
have
a
cluster
of
hie
proxies
and
users
that
simultaneously
connect
to
two
different
places
from
two
different
places.
A
Your
conference
may
end
up
getting
created
on
two
bridges
and
two
shards
basically,
and
that
would
stabilize
over
the
next
few
seconds.
But
currently
me
would
show
you
a
blue
screen,
saying
I
know
something
went
wrong
and
then
we'll
reload,
the
page
and
there's
really
no
reason
for
that,
because
it
gets
detected
very
early.
There's
no
active
conference,
that's
being
disrupted.
So
we
would
like
to
make
that
a
little
bit
less
obvious
with
the
it's
not
really
a
problem.
She's
part
of
the
initial
dance.
A
A
We
had
a
couple
of
tutorials,
actually
we
in
fact
released
so
far,
one
tutorial
from
Yasin.
It's
a
very
complete
tutorial
on
how
to
do
jessamine
installation.
The
next
one
is
going
to
be
about
how
to
do
load,
balancing
over
multiple
bridges,
so
that
video
will
be
coming
this
week
and
Yassen
is
currently
working
on
a
video
that
explains
how
to
install
jibbery,
and
we
will
finally
end
with
a
video
that
tells
you
how
to
front
multiple
shards
of
load-balanced
GT,
video,
bridging
for
other
installations,
with
HT
proxies
for
really
scalable
co-located
installations.
A
So
we
hope
this
resource
will
help
people
out
there.
What
anyone
else
from
the
team
might
add
anything.
A
F
F
A
F
I've
been
working
recently
on
allowing
the
video
Bridge
to
be
restarted
without
shutting
down
the
JVM,
which
is
probably
not
something
that
you're
very
interested
in,
but
if,
as
I'm
running
it
as
part
of
a
plug-in
in
a
larger
JVM
I,
don't
want
to
restart
the
entire
JVM
and
I've
found
that
if
you
disable
certain
harvesters,
other
ones
are
forcefully
enabled.
Even
if
you
set
a
property
that
would
disallow
them
from
from
being
enabled
so
there's
a
there's.
F
A
F
Thanks
another
question
that
I
had
and
I
briefly
discussed
this
in
this
course
with
Damian
I'm,
looking
for
a
way
where
I
could
lock
down
a
meat
insulation
so
that
only
registered
users
of
the
XMPP
domain
would
be
able
to
make
use
of
it.
So
in
a
corporate
setting,
just
have
people
that
belong
to
the
organization
be
able
to
spend
CPU
cycles
on
videoconferencing,
but
they
also
need
to
be
able
to
invite
occasionally
outside
people.
How
would
you
set
that
up.
F
A
A
A
F
A
A
F
A
A
So
this
cannot
be
or
it
rather,
it
would
be
hard
for
that
to
be
based
on
a
key,
that's
generated,
a
different
key,
that's
generated
for
it
for
every
session
right
so
which
means
that
it
probably
wouldn't
work
well
with
client-side
generation,
which
means
that
an
entirely
out-of-band
link
generation,
two
might
be
the
least
resistance
approach
here
and
and
I
guess
you
just
have
to
train.
You
say
if
you're
inviting
someone
from
outside,
then
you
gotta
go
get
your
link
there,
as
opposed
to
from
the
meeting
or
something
like
that.
A
F
B
B
A
Was
me,
thank
you.
Yes,
I
have
something
that
I
forgot
to
mention.
The
lip
sync
hack
needs
to
be
disabled
because
it
causes
issues
in
the
bridge.
So
if
anyone
has
the
lips
of
hack
in
the
bridge
enabled
to
disable
that-
and
we
also
discovered
by
chance
that
Boris
actually
found
out
last
week
that
it's
no
longer
necessary
because
there,
if
you
have
the
same
well,
it's
no
longer
necessary
there.
The
hack
is
no
longer
necessary.
