Description
Building & Grounds Committee Meeting 8/10/2023 9:00 AM
A
C
A
We
have
a
quorum
wonderful
good
morning,
checking
to
see
if
we
have
any
public
comments.
This
morning,
nothing's
been
turned
in
any
public
comments
and
last
time
any
public
comments
this
morning.
Okay,
moving
on
to
the
approval
of
meetings
from
June
15th
to
take
a
look
at
those
those
are
sent
out
to
you
earlier.
B
D
Right,
first
item
on
the
agendas:
the
facility
dude
report,
we
had
168
work
orders
in
the
system
for
last
month
for
a
typical
month.
The
financial
report
that
you
have
in
front
of
you
there
you
can
see
we're
at
726
335
compared
to
871
320
last
year,
and
you
know
sound
like
a
broken
record.
But
you
know
the
difference
is
largely
in
line
item
87
510,
which
is
a
lot
of
the
building
improvements
that
we
did
last
year
for
many
of
the
facilities.
D
So
a
lot
of
the
line
items
are
fairly
consistent
and
we're
running
mostly
behind,
as
you
can
tell
in
most
of
them
from
this
point
last
year,
so
not
a
whole
lot
to
talk
about
there.
I'll
take
any
questions
on
that.
D
All
right
so
starting
here
at
189,
we're
short-handed
I've
got.
One
of
my
employees
here
is
off
for
an
extended
period
of
time
for
a
procedure
that
he's
having
done
so
we're
going
to
be
without
his
services.
So
we'll
be
rotating
people
in
to
cover
this
building
as
necessary.
D
We
got
last
month.
We
did.
We
had
multiple
fire
drills
with
the
city
of
Kankakee,
so
they'd
come
out
at
8
45.
We
pulled
the
alarm,
they
timed
it.
We
got
everybody
out
of
the
building.
It
went
very
well
perfectly.
Actually,
when
we
were
done
with
the
entire
building,
we
took
floors
two
through
six
and
we
went
down
the
fire
escape,
which
is
on
the
north
side
of
the
building
that
went
very
well,
showed
them
how
to
get
down
the
fire
escape,
showed
them
that
it
is
safe.
D
It
is
inspected
in
accordance
with
state
law,
so
it
is
safe.
Everybody
got
down,
got
down
to
the
roof,
and
then
they
had
to
go
down
through
the
garage
area.
So
all
in
all
I
think
it
was
a.
It
was
a
good
idea
to
have
the
drill.
It
went
very
well
and
obviously
I
feel
comfortable,
and
hopefully
all
the
employees
do
as
well
that
when
and
if
they
needed
to
get
out
of
here,
they
know
the
proper
evacuation
routes
for
the
this
building
so
glad
that
went
well.
D
We
do
have
some
roof
damage
here.
Well,
not
at
this
building.
It's
going
to
be
at
the
old
vac
or
new
State's
Attorney
office
location,
which
is
the
building
immediately
to
the
north
here
on
Skyler
Anita,
actually
brought
it
to
my
attention.
It
was
a
few
weeks
ago
we
had
a
storm
roll
through
about
I,
think
it's
about
three
o'clock
and
lifted
the
roof
up
on
the
old
vac.
So
obviously
we
got
Langlois
out
quickly
to
put
a
patch
on
the
roof,
so
that's
been
handled.
D
The
insurance
adjuster
was
out
last
week
or
the
week
prior
I.
Don't
remember.
My
weeks
are
running
together,
but
the
adjuster
was
out,
took
a
look
at
the
roof
and
I
sent
him
the
estimates
that
I
had
and
he's
currently
reviewing
them.
So
the
temporary
repairs
holding
were
not
taking
on
any
water
or
anything
like
that.
So,
just
waiting
on
the
go
ahead
from
the
insurance
company
on
that
roof
damage
sounds
like.
We
may
need
an
entire
new
roof.
It
sounds
like
at
least
75
percent
of
it
is
damaged.
C
D
Well,
we
got
it's
it's
all.
It's
all.
Excuse
me,
it's
all
done.
We
did
some
flooring
in
there
we
did
some
painting
in
there
we
had
to
replace
the
water
heater.
D
D
Let's
see
we
did
have
a
decent
water
leak.
Actually
it
was
right
over
there
by
the
camera
last
week.
I
believe
it
was,
and
that
was
from
the
air
handler
that
serves
the
fifth
floor,
where
multiple
leaks
in
the
coil
for
the
air
conditioner,
which
caused
the
coil
to
freeze
up
like
a
block
of
ice
and
obviously
when
it
was
thawing,
it
was
Dripping
into
our
boardroom
here.
D
So
we
got,
there
obviously
got
the
tiles
put
back
in
the
coil
is
currently
on
order,
and
because
we
don't
have
a
lot
of
time,
it's
it's
still
leaking
a
little
bit.
So
we
don't
have
a
lot
of
time
and
not
not
the
leak.
It's
the
refrigerant,
so
we're
gonna
get
a
new
coil
in
there
and
get
that
fixed
here
in
short
order.
It's
due
in
here
in
a
couple
days
over
at
the
courthouse
PSI
was
on
site
this
week
to
finish
up
some
very
minor
punch
list
items.
D
A
couple
shelves
needed
to
be
hung
nothing
crazy,
so
they're
they're
getting
that
taken
care
of
this
week.
We
did
have
some
minor
water
intrusion,
I'll
call
it
on
actually
on
both
sides.
The
East
and
the
west
side
and
worth
noting
we
didn't,
have
any
water
in
there
for
the
entire
length
of
the
construction
project
which
took
six
months.
So
it's
I,
guess
it's
my
luck
that
as
soon
as
we
get
done,
we
take
on
a
little
bit
of
water.
D
So
we
did
have
a
mitigation
company
come
out.
We
got
the
water
sucked
up,
they're
drying
out
the
walls
as
we
speak.
It
was
very
minor,
but
we
are
going
to
get
that
taken
care
of
and
try
it
out
professionally.
Given
the
you
know,
the
fact
that
we
just
finished
the
construction
down
there
and
then
I've
also
asked
one
of
our
vendors
to
take
a
look
at.
D
So
I'm
talking
to
a
couple
people
getting
a
couple
proposals
to
figure
out
what
it's
going
to
take
to
get
that
fixed
and
it's
not
a
lot
I
mean
I
understand
any
water
is
too
much
so
we're
going
to
try
to
get
it
fixed,
but
it
was
a
very
minor
issue
that
I
hope
to
have
rectified
here.
Within
the
next
month
we
had
a
tree
removed
from
the
North
Lawn
of
the
courthouse
actually
right
on
Court
Street.
It
was
huge,
a
large
dead
tree
there,
so
that's
been
removed.
D
We
had
to
bring
in
a
load
of
dirt
to
fill
the
hole.
That's
how
big
the
tree
and
The
Roots
were.
So
that's
been
done.
Something
we'll
talk
about
a
little
more.
A
little
bit
later
in
the
agenda.
Doug
bright
has
been,
has
begun,
some
preliminary
conceptual
design
with
Sandy
on
her
two
on
her
second
floor
office
area.
So
that's
something
that's
on
the
agenda
here
when
I
get
done
with
my
building
report,
we'll
discuss
that
in
a
little
more
detail.
D
D
So
that's
that
point
was
raised
about
a
month
ago.
You
know
when
the
juror
line
is
really
stacking
up
and
you've
got
a
lot
of
people
waiting.
D
F
You
Wes
currently
is
there
an
awning
where
they're
at
right
now
coming
into
the
building?
No
there's
no
awning
on
the
front
side.
I
knew
the
answer
to
that
I.
Just
thought.
I
would
mention
that
we
do
want
to
try
to
do
something,
but
the
situation
has
been
the
same
for
oh
I,
don't
know
ever
so
we'll
look
at
making
it
better,
but
there
is
no
immediate
remedy.
That's
needed,
we'll
be
methodical
in
this
approach
and
the
Historical
Society
has
basically
said:
you're.
D
We
now
have
the
entire
building
on
the
same
HVAC
control
system,
so
I
know
you've
heard
me
talk
for
those
who've
been
on
the
committee
for
a
while
I
always
had
Delta
controls
for
floors,
one
through
three
and
then
I
had
Precision
controls
in
the
basement.
So
as
always,
it
was
rather
inefficient.
So
we
have
everything
on
the
same
system
now
at
that
building,
which
is
which
is
nice
to
have
Annex
and
Old
Jail
happy
to
report.
D
The
new
unit
is
finally
up
and
running
as
it
should
be,
and
the
controls
are
done
as
well,
so
that
project
has
crossed
off
the
list
so
happy
to
report
that
now
in
front
of
you,
Mr
Donald's
got
it
here.
You
saw
some
photos
of
the
old
jail,
it's
something
that
has
been
put
off
for
a
while
and
speaking
to
the
sheriff
over
the
last
couple
weeks.
He'd
really
like
to
see
this
done
and
in
my
estimation,
it's
time
to
do
that.
D
If
you
saw
the
photos
in
there,
there's
I
mean
there's
large
gaps.
It's
even
noted
that
you
can
feel
air
pressure
seeping
out
of
the
building
through
the
gaps
in
the
Limestone,
and
it's
not
just
the
windows
yeah.
The
windows
needs
need
caulking,
but
the
entire
building
needs
tuck
pointed
I
mean
it's.
The
the
mortar
is
crumbling,
so
I've
been
in
discussion
with
the
chairman
and
due
to
the
nature
of
the
work,
it's
all
going
to
be
done
on
lifts.
It's
all.
You
know
some
of
it's
three
stories
above
the
ground
four
stories.
D
Actually
in
some
parts
and
it's
very
how
should
I
say:
there's
there's,
there's
a
lot:
that's
going
to
have
to
go
into
it
and
making
sure
that
the
scope
of
work
is
accurate
and
the
project
is
managed
in
a
manner
that
I
guess
is
in
our
best
interest
is
the
county,
because
this
is
not
my
special.
This
isn't
in
my
wheelhouse,
you
know
getting
up
three
flurries
on
us
four
stories
on
a
lift
inspecting
mortar
joints,
making
sure
it's
installed
as
it
should
be
so
discussion
with
Andy.
D
You
know
we
would
like
to
have
a
construction
manager
of
some
sort
on
this
job
to
you
know,
handle
a
lot
of
the
general
conditions,
make
sure
we've
got
dumpsters
and
porta
potties
and
inspect
the
work.
That's
going
on
vet.
The
bids
write
the
scope,
Etc,
so
Andy.
Is
there
anything
else
you
want
to
talk
about
on
that.
F
Well,
yeah
I
guess
you
know
thought
processes
is
that
you
know
we
have
an
idea
what
this
would
cost
about.
Oh
I,
don't
know
two
years
ago,
roughly
a
year
and
a
half
but
yeah,
then
we
power
washed
the
building.
So
we
need
an
update
on
the
previous
assessment
that
was
done
on
just
the
windows
that
was
brought
before
this
committee.
Prices
have
changed.
F
You
know
we
want
to
nail
this
down.
So
the
thought
was
is
that
in
a
in
a
Professional,
Services
manner
hire
the
company
that
did
the
initial
assessment,
which
was
PSI
and
men
will
bid
out
the
actual
contract
work
they
would
manage
for
us.
So
we've
already
we're.
They
were
engaged
with
us
to
do
the
initial
assessment.
F
That's
really
the
whole
thought
process
is.
How
do
we
re-bid
this
without
putting
together
a
list?
We
would
need
to
engage,
who
helped
us
with
the
first
list,
but
they
wouldn't
be
able
to
bid.
So
this
makes
this
makes
the
most
sense
for
us
again
with
with
Wes,
even
though
it
was
in
his
job
description
that
he
had
to
climb
four
flights
of
on
scaffolding,
we'll
let
him
slide
on
this
one.
Well,.
D
No,
no
thank
you.
So
do
we
do
we
are
we
in
agreement
on
that?
Maybe
a
head
nod
that
that's
the
direction
we'd
like
to
head
on
this
project.
Obviously
we'll
go
to
bed
we'll
get
bids
we'll
bring
them
back
before
the
committee.
D
It's
going
to
be
a
considerable
expense,
but
if
that
building,
which
is
talking
to
the
sheriff
that
you
know,
we
plan
to
continue
to
operate
that
building,
for
you
know
the
foreseeable
future,
it's
something
that's
you
can
see
it's
it's
got
to
be
done,
I
mean
there's
water
that
seeps
into
the
building.
Sometimes
it's
it's
time
to
do
it.
If
that
building's
going
to
continue
to
operate
it's
it
looks
like
it's
going
to
so.
F
F
B
F
D
And
then,
with
with
that,
at
the
old
jail
part
of,
what's
going
to
need
to
happen,
there
is
there's
going
to
be
some
Roofing.
That
needs
to
be
done
as
well,
because
where
the
rubber
roof
meets
the
not
the
whole
roof,
just
where
the
the
rubber
roof
wraps
around
the
Limestone,
that's
going
to
need
to
be
redone
as
well.
D
So
there
is
a
small
Roofing
component
to
the
tuck,
pointing
at
that
location
as
well,
so
with
that
there
is
a
lower
section
of
roof
at
the
old
jail
that
is
going
to
need
to
be
re-ruffed
soon.
It's
something
that
has
been
I've
been
putting
it
off
until
this
project
had
come
along,
it's
a
lower
section
of
roof
all
the
way
on
the
it
would
be
the
east
side
of
the
jail
it
kind
of
over
the
kitchen
and
that
area
that
roof
is
in
bad
shape
has
been
in
bad
shape
for
a
while.
D
We
actually
it
was
raising
up
on
us.
So
several
months
ago
the
recommendation
was
to
put
some
weight
on
that
roof
to
keep
the
rubber
membrane
down.
So,
that's
something
that
you
know
concurrently
with
this
project,
I'd
like
to
get
some
cost
and
some
figures
on
that
as
well
to
see
if
it
makes
sense
as
long
as
the
roofing
component
is
going
to
be
there
on
the
larger
building
to
put
that
in
there
as
well.
So
we'll
get
some
numbers
on
that
and
bring
it
back.
C
Wes
this
thinking
off
the
top
of
my
head,
will
you
be
having
any
discussions
with
Pat
young
for
Building
Trades
and
what
I
was
thinking
about?
If
there
could
be
a
training
component
in
in
this
project
that
may
save
us
a
few
bucks
to
get
the
you
know,
work
done
in
an
expert
way.
That
may
be
something
you
want
to
talk
about:
yeah,
certainly
yeah.
F
I
think
all
of
those
qualified
bitter
proposals
would
have
an
ATC,
which
is
a
the
training
program
that
they
have
as
part
of
their.
They
agree
because
we
always
hear
in
Highway
and
ATC
is
attached.
That
shows
that
they
have
the
the
training
program
that
we're
talking
about
so
I
would
I
would
agree
with
that,
though,
and
I
think
that's
part
of
the
type
of
contractor.
The
only
thing
that
that
I
want
to
mention
watch
is
that
the
roofs
are
separate.
Then
the
other
tuck-pointing
job
well.
D
It's
all
it's
all
included
in
the
water
intrusion
so
where
the
roof
wraps
around
and
meets
the
the
you
can
see
in
some
of
those
photos.
F
D
We
did
have
some
roof
leaks
during
the
recent
rains
at
the
old
jail,
which
again
goes
with
my
statement
of
the
the
roof
section.
That's
going
to
need
to
be
looked
at
and
we're
beginning
to
have
trouble
finding
parts
for
our
toilets
over
there.
D
You
know
I
think
that
building
was
was
it
73
that
was
built?
Does
anybody
remember
early
70s,
so
a
lot
of
the
toilets
and
stuff
that
are
in
there
the
design
of
those
toilets,
they're
they're
obsolete
you
can't
find
them
anymore
and
I
used
to
be
able
to
get
them.
D
Probably
a
few
years
ago,
I
bought
some
but
they're
getting
increasingly
hard
to
find
so
I
in
talking
with
Chief
kalawinzu.
There
is
a
company
that
will
make
the
toilets,
because
I
think
there
are
other,
probably
municipality,
smaller
municipalities
that
are
still
using.
D
You
know
this
old
style
toilet.
So
I
got
to
do
some
research
on
that
because
yeah,
if
you
know,
if
we're,
if
we're
getting
to
a
point
where
we
need
to
start
retrofitting
some
of
the
toilets
and
stuff
in
there,
that
can
get
costly,
so
I'm
trying
to
look
for
some
alternatives
on
that.
Just
wanted
to
put
the
put
the
thought
in
your
head
and
I'll
I'll
have
more
information
on
that
at
next
month's
meeting
out
at
jcdc,
we've
been
we've
been
busy.
D
Let's
see
the
new
hot
water
storage
tank
was
installed,
that
is
done
and,
of
course,
not
without
complications.
It
seems
like
everything
that
I
do
lately.
You
fix
one
problem
and
you
find
three
more.
So
when
we
put
in
the
hot
water
storage
tank,
the
water
shut-offs
didn't
work.
So
what
ended
up
happening
was
we
had
to
shut
the
water
off
to
the
entire
building
and
when
you
do
that,
not
the
entire
building
I
should
say
about
half
of
it,
because
there's
a
couple
different
water
services
that
come
in
there.
D
So
when
you
shut
the
water
off
to
the
jail,
obviously
that
creates
problems,
toilets,
don't
work,
you
can.
You
can
figure
that
out,
so
we
had
to
get
bottled
water
had
to
work
with
corrections
to
get
all
of
that
done.
Luckily,
it
went
smoothly.
We
shut
the
water
off,
it
wasn't
off
very
long
and
actually
that
project
went
went
off
without
a
hitch.
So
that
is
done
about
two
weeks
ago.
D
I
got
a
call
about
actually
I
got
a
text
about
10
o'clock
at
night
of
multiple
water,
geysers
I'll
call
them
coming
out
of
the
the
grass
on
the
south
end
of
the
jail.
It
was
rather
impressive.
The
the
amount
of
water
there's,
obviously
a
water
main
break
right
behind
our
jail.
A
A
D
God
yeah,
so
luckily
Aqua
was
out
that
night.
They
could
not
do
anything
with
it.
That
night,
the
water
shut
off
of
theirs
was
not
working
the
next
day
they
come
out
to
try
to
shut
it
off,
they
broke
the
water
shut
off,
and
then
they
had
to
run
actually
water
through
a
fire
hose
over
to
the
building
to
supply
us
with
water,
which
of
course
created
lots
and
lots
of
problems.
So
we
had
to.
We
had
to
get
water
there.
D
We
had
to
do
several
things
to
on
a
temporary
basis
to
bring
water
into
the
building,
but
that
is
now
repaired.
It's
done,
the
yard
is
tore
up.
Part
of
the
parking
lot
is
tore
up,
but
that
is
all
going
to
be
fixed
and
put
back
the
way
it
was
by
Aqua
here
so
yeah.
F
F
You
I
just
wanted
the
committee
to
know
and
the
seven
people
watching
this
on
YouTube
that
the
we
did
get
very,
very
positive
Kudos
just
comments
about
the
work
West
did
in
the
in
that
from
the
sheriff
and
from
the
chief
of
Corrections.
So
we
as
as
we
all
know,
we
we
hear
about
what
employees
and
and
our
team
does
something
that
is
not
up
to
par.
In
this
case
he
went
over
and
Beyond
and
they
actually
reached
out
to
say
so.
So
thank.
F
E
D
D
Yeah
it's,
it
was
been
busy
out
there,
so
that's
been
since
been
fixed,
I'll
get
on
Aqua
figure
out
when
they're
gonna
get
the
parking
lot
repaired
and
then
the
grass
as
well
many
Plumbing,
related
repairs.
Lots
I
mean
the
amount
of
Plumbing
related
repairs
at
that
place
is
just
it's
astronomical.
I
bet
it's
20
to
25
per
day
on
toilets
showers.
Faucets,
it's
just
it's!
It's
unbelievable!
The
amount
of
Plumbing
related
work
that
goes
on
out
there.
We
did
have
another
roof
leak
there
during
the
recent
storms.
D
That
was
actually
an
air
handler
that
one
of
the
doors
opened
up
on
it.
We
thought
it
was
a
roof
leak
turns
out
it
wasn't
the
door
blew
open
and
then
it
got
into
the
return
air
docked
and
was
leaking.
So
that's
obviously
been
taken
care
of
oh
wow.
Something
else
that
we
need
to
start
talking
about
is
the
dishwasher
out.
There
is
on
its
last
legs.
D
It's
original
to
the
building,
so
20
plus
years
old,
chairman
and
I
have
had
some
informal
discussions
on
this,
but
something
that
I'll
possibly
bring
back
in
the
next
month
or
two,
but
the
the
parts
are
getting
hard
to
find
again.
Anything
I
do
find
for
it.
It's
a
Hobart
unit
and
you
can't
find
Hobart
parts
for
it.
They
don't
make
them
anymore.
So
anything
I
buy
is
a
it's
like
an
aftermarket
type
product
from
another
country.
That
typically
doesn't
last
very
long.
D
So
it's
something
I've
been
talking
with
the
sheriff,
the
chief
of
Corrections,
the
chairman
of
little
bit,
but
that's
something
that
I'll
bring
back,
hopefully
next
month's
meeting,
because
it's
something
that
we're
going
to
have
to
probably
take
a
serious
look
at
and
then
as
well
as
the
ovens.
So
again
the
ovens
out
there
are
20
years
old
as
well.
We've
been
replacing
Parts
on
them
constantly
we
have
six
of
them.
Five
of
them
are
working.
D
Another
couple
of
them
are
temperamental
they'll
work,
they'll,
shut
off,
they'll
work,
they'll
shut
off,
but
again
it's
a
20
year
old,
oven
I
mean
it's
probably
getting
near
to
the
end
of
its
useful
life.
So
just
need
to
start
thinking
about
that
as
well,
been
working
with
Chief
kalawenzu.
He
he
approached
me
last
month
with
a
vendor
that
he
worked
with
in
the
past.
D
So
we
we
sat
down
and
we
looked
at
our
expenses
on
some
of
our
supplies
that
we
use
in
the
jails
a
lot
of
time,
a
lot
of
supplies
and
we
were
able
to
lower
the
cost
on
several
of
the
things
that
we
buy.
I
worked
with
our
current
vendor
showed
them
our
pricing
and
once
once
he
took
a
look
at
it,
we
were
able
to
reduce
the
cost
on
some
of
the
supplies
that
we
buy
consistently
out
there.
D
So
I
was
happy
to
work
with
Chief
collet
wenzu
on
that
to
reduce
some
of
our
expenses,
so
that
went
very
well.
The
last
thing
I
have
out
there
and
just
want
to
get
some
thoughts
on
this.
D
The
sheriff
has
requested
that
we
consider
Outsourcing
the
lawn
and
grass
cutting
that
we
do
through
the
maintenance
department
at
Jerome
Combs
and
then
the
two
Satellite
locations
for
animal
control,
which
is
on
Stanford
and
then
the
new
location
and
the
thought
behind
this
and,
like
I,
told
you
the
amount
of
Plumbing
related
repairs
that
we
do
out
there.
If
you've
got
20
to
25
work
orders
in
a
day,
it
doesn't
take
long
to
fall
behind
and
the
grass
cutting
takes
basically
an
entire
day
to
get
out
two
guys
on
the
mowers.
D
D
D
You
know
in
the
manner
that
I
feel
it
should
be
so
any
any
initial
thoughts
on
that
on
the
Outsourcing
and
then
the
thought
was
bringing
the
stuff
the
animal
control
that
takes
even
longer
you
gotta,
you
got
a
trailer,
the
mowers,
you
got
to
drive
them
over
there
and
then
the
upkeep
on
the
mowers.
So
we
have
spent
a
considerable
amount
of
money
over
the
years
on,
obviously
fuel
oil.
They
do
break
down,
often
getting
parts
for
them,
bringing
them
out
to
all
power
or
wherever
else
that
we've
brought
them.
D
C
D
By
Outsourcing,
I've
already
had
conversations
with
most
of
my
employees.
Even
the
gentleman
that
sat
in
we
don't
typically
have
someone
that's
what's
in
their
term
Union
steward.
You
know
we
don't
have
that
because
we
don't
have
enough
employees
I
from
what
I've
been
told,
but
the
gentleman
that
sat
in
on
our
contract
negotiations
I
ran
it
by
him.
He
did.
He
did
not
have
an
issue
with
it,
nor
did
any
of
the
employees
out
at
Jerome
Combs.
They
don't
have
an
issue
with
it.
F
E
F
D
D
A
E
E
C
Thank
you
very
much
second
time
and
maybe
there's
a
silver
lining.
C
There
may
be
a
an
opportunity
for
MBE
contracts
as
well.
C
I
I
know
there
are
a
lot
of
minority
businesses
in
that
particular
Arena
and
it
may
afford
US
an
opportunity
to
diversify
a
little
bit
more
sure
and
I
think
this
Administration
has
been
open
to
those
kinds
of
initiatives.
So
that's
something
to
think
about
too
absolutely.
D
D
So
that
is
another
that
that's
a
great
point:
I,
don't
I
hadn't
thought
of
that.
But
it's
something
that
you
know.
We
probably
need
to
discuss.
F
D
Okay.
Well.
That
concludes
my
building
report.
So
the
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
the
bright
architectural
architecture
proposal
for
the
circuit
clerk
remodeling
project.
D
D
It
would
be
Jerome
comb.
Well,
the
thought
was
that
we
would
keep
the
mowers
downtown,
so
the
mowers
that
we
do
have
we
would
keep
them
downtown
and
I
have
plenty
of
Staff
right
now.
We're
in
a
good
spot.
Downtown
I've
got
three
at
the
courthouse:
I
got
two
at
the
jail.
I've
got
people
here
that
can
help
so
downtown
really
isn't
the
issue.
It's
you
know,
Jerome
Combs
and
the
amount
of
work
that
we've
been
doing
out
there,
plus
trailer
and
everything
to
the
two
Animal
Control
sites.
All.
D
You
all
right
the
bright
architecture
proposal
for
the
circuit
clerk
remodeling
project,
that's
on
the
agenda
Andy.
Do
you
want
to
take
this
one.
F
Like
basically,
the
board
knows
about
this,
we
talked
about
it
for
a
couple
of
years.
Now
the
it
was
all
it
was
always
on
Deck,
it's
the
next
thing.
Up
now
it's
up
poor
per
the
Illinois
Attorney
General.
We
have
to
have
a
transition
plan
for
the
courthouse
among
other
buildings,
but
the
courthouse
in
terms
of
the
employees
that
work
there
transitioning
from
a
988
compliant
environment,
to
an
ABA,
compliant
environment.
F
You
may
remember
that
we've
addressed
the
public
areas.
Now
we
have
to
address
behind
the
counter,
and
specifically
named
was
the
Circuit
Clerk's
area.
So
we
have
engaged
Doug
to
do
the
drawings
and
I
believe
is
that
in
the
packet
or
everybody
should
have
that
we
showed
it
at
a
previous
meeting.
I
thought
and
that's
the
general
thought
is
to
address
that
that
area,
obviously
we'll
have
to
get
sign
offs
from
the
AG's
office
and
all
of
those
things,
but
this
falls
under
Professional
Services.
F
He
is
our
architect
and
he
it
shows
you
what
the
scope
of
work
is.
That's
going
on
there
basically
bidding
everything
out.
This
would
be
another
one
of
those
cases
where,
especially
this
one.
We
want
to
get
this
done
while
the
snow
was
flying.
If
you
will
we
want
to,
we
don't
want
this
to
drag
in
the
next
year.
We
think
we
can
be
done
by
Christmas,
but
that
would
involve
us
making
sure
that
the
next
available
opportunity
to
open
bids
it
gets
on
the
agenda.
Does
that
make
sense?
F
So
if
you
agree
that
we
should
do
this,
the
actual
opening
may
not
come
back
here.
It
may
go
to
finance
or
it
may
go
to
executive
just
so
we
can
meet
that
window
because
we
don't
want
to
have
to
get
it
and
wait
a
whole
month
to
approve
it
and
then
send
it
to
full
board.
So
we'll
go
all
the
way
through
with
it.
A
Are
you
looking
at
the
August
executive
or
Finance
to
get
to
put
that
on
the
agenda.
A
F
D
F
Be
tough
it'd
be
really
tough
for
August,
because
we
want
to
have
contractor
meetings,
we
want
to
walk
them
through.
You
know,
there's
and
then
the
bids
come
yeah.
You
know
so
that's
kind
of
where
we're
at
you
know
I
would
love
to
say
by
the
end
of
September.
We've
got
this
all
wrapped
up,
it's
already
out
to
bid
and
we
could
open
bids,
maybe
at
the
full
board.
Who
knows
right
that.
A
A
A
A
B
Mr
dunno
all
right.
This
Monday
good
Monday,
hi
and
Mr
Wheeler.
A
Okay,
so
we
had
that
taken
care
of
new
business.
A
Just
yesterday
at
Animal
Welfare
we
met
and
we
were
talking
about
the
building
and
is
there
a
firm
date
on
the
oh,
the
ribbon
cutting
or
the
opening
shovel?
Yes,
September
5th
correct.
F
B
B
A
Okay,
so
then
we're
very
excited
then
about
that
building
being
completed,
hopefully
June
of
24
..
So
it
was
big
news
yesterday,
okay,
any
other
business,
if
not,
I
would
like
to
entertain
a
motion
to
adjourn
Mr
Hess
and
a
second
by
Mr
Dunhill,
all
those
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye.
Anyone
oppose
no.
