Description
Finance Committee Meeting 01/26/2022 9:00am
A
B
A
A
A
That's
done.
Okay.
I've
got
no
request
for
a
public
comment.
Are
there
any
requests
for
public
comment.
A
A
A
All
right
we
have
a
motion
to
amend.
Is
there
a
second,
mr
payton,
all
in
favor
of
mending
letting?
Oh?
Here
we
go.
Here's!
Mr
mccarty!
You
want
to
look
through
all
that
motion
all
right.
Those
motions
are
withdrawn.
We'll
move
to
finance
department.
A
I
should
have
looked
up
giving
you
a
minute
before
we
went
on
all
right.
We've
got
the
miscellaneous
financial
reports
in
front
of
you.
The
part
of
your
packet
want
to
look
at
any
of
those.
Any
questions.
Comments
on
them
looks
like
we're
down
a
little
from
the
previous
month,
but
that
something
we
were
kind
of.
D
D
Yeah,
I
didn't
have
a
lot
to
add
to
these,
but
certainly
we
got
some
other
stuff
to
cover
today,
but
yeah
still
favorable
trend
pretty
much
and
everything
but
use
tax.
At
this
point.
So
as
far
as
taxes
go.
E
Yes,
I
can't
read
the
hieroglyphics
at
the
bottom.
Can
somebody
read
that
for
me,
which
one
from
probation
where
the
auditor
has
some
some
kind
of.
A
Is
this
for
the
shirts
or
for
the
clerk
yeah
shirts
for
the
shirts?
Are
these
required
uniforms
need
more
information
for,
and
then
I'm
not
sure
that
word,
but
but
we'll
be
approved,
anyways,
not
just
a
signing
at
this
point,
thanks.
A
F
A
F
It's
a
they're
provided
to
the
armed
officers
that
go
out
in
the
community.
We
I
like
to
keep
a
few
of
each
size,
long
sleeve
short
sleeve
in
stock
they're.
I
think
nine
dollars
a
piece.
So
when
we
do
hire
or
move
somebody
in
one
of
those
positions,
we
can
get
them
my
shirts
that
are
properly
identifying
them
right
away.
So,
okay,.
E
Yeah
my
concern,
I
just
couldn't
read
the
hieroglyphics
down
there
as
opposed
to
the
the
shirt,
so
thank
you,
tom.
G
This
question
to
you:
what
did
they
say
when
you
told
them
that
that.
A
What
I'm
reading
are
these
required
uniforms
need
more
information
for
recommendation.
H
A
G
All
of
these
claims
were
together,
we're
not
doing
them
separately.
These
question
claims
was
a
motion
to
approve,
to
combine
and
approve
those
combine
and
approve.
G
Wanted
to
note,
because
the
the
county
clerk
asked
me
if
it
came
up
to
to
make
a
note,
you
know
that
this
is
the
quickbooks
system
that
he
uses
for
this
particular
part
of
his
business,
which
is
well
within
the
law
to
do
so.
This
is
the
the
second
time
in
the
past
few
months,
where
the
auditors
denied
a
claim
for
my
office,
but
failed
to
communicate,
communicate
with
me
about
any
concerns
that
may
exist
if
this
committee
notices.
This
is
a
pattern.
G
We
have
an
absentee
auditor
who
doesn't
come
in
here
to
work,
and
then
he
just
shoots
notes
to
people
and
doesn't
do
his
job
so
and
nobody's
keeping
him
from
doing
that
except
himself.
I
just
want
everybody
here
to
realize
that
he
refuses
to
do
the
accounting
and
everything
else,
and
now
he's
not
even
doing
the
auditing
almost
80
thousand
dollars
a
year
and
pension.
A
For
the
for
those
that
have
hard
time
reading
his
hieroglyphics
in
terms
of
note
on
that
request,
where
he
said
nothing
against
vendor,
just
not
comfortable
whatever,
that
means
with
this
for
reasons
that
will
be
ignored
anyways,
so
he
doesn't
give
us,
in
my
judgment,
a
reason
to
deny
it
comfort
or
uncomfort.
A
B
A
C
A
A
Hearing
no
discussion,
a
roll
call
vote
please.
Mr.
A
C
D
D
Yeah,
there's
one
general
obligation
bond
to
be
abated.
It's
for
the
health
department
series
2007..
This
is
an
annual
thing,
and
this
is
the
time
of
year
for
that.
So
it's
something
housekeeping
that
we
do
once
a
year
for
this
bond.
A
A
B
C
D
Yeah
this
this
is
a
list
of
various
special
funds.
They
need
attention
as
far
as
the
budget.
This
is
last
year's
budget,
not
not
the
current
year
budget
before
the
final
report,
if
that's
the
pleasure
of
the
committee
for
like
the
tort
fund,
some
of
you
may
remember
the
body
cam
that
body
cams
ever
purchased
for
the
sheriff's
department.
D
There
was
a
grant
and
then
the
remainder
went
to
the
tort
fund
and
then
some
of
these
various
changes
in
their
operations
within
these
various
departments
that
interact
in
these
special
funds.
So
so
it's
a
list
and
then
individually
and
the
the
identified
recommended
changes.
If,
if
the
committee
wants
to
go
ahead
and
do
that
or
not.
D
G
More
of
a
question
for
mr
latham,
the
drug
court
fund,
is
that
something
that
is
air
quotes
under
attack
from
reduced
fees.
Is
that
one
of
the
ones
we
are
watching
dwindle?
They.
F
F
G
Or
we
don't
have
a
drug
court
which
is
part
of
the
samsung
race,
correct,
correct,
so
that's
everything
about
that's!
2.6
million
dollar
grant
correct
samsung
grant.
So
you
see
how
that
we
may
be
asked
to
fund
drug
court
to
keep
the
other
part
of
that
program
with
federal
money
coming
flowing.
So
just
as
a
heads
up.
A
Well,
certainly,
the
people
that
have
gone
to
drug
court
graduations
know
the
value
of
that
program.
It's
immensely
useful
for
residents
of
this
county,
and
I
would
hope
that
the
entire
committee
would
say
that
this
is
something
we
need
to
continue
to
find.
E
F
I'm
not
aware
the
one
grant
we
have
we're,
hoping
that
it
that's
extended
beyond
the
first
four
or
five
years,
but
other
than
that
I
mean
obviously
we're
looking
for
funding.
From
I
mean
we
do
offset
some
of
it
with
our
probation
fees,
account
our
special
funds,
but
that's
it
unless
another
grant
comes
available
and
we're
always
looking
for
external
money.
Thank.
G
A
B
C
A
D
D
Included
in
your
packet,
updated
both
the
arpa
fund
summary
and
the
lost
revenue
summary
with
again
current
funding.
There
is
another
payment
expected
made
in
june
area
this
year,
so
this
gives
you
a
running
total
to
date
and
includes
the
information
that
we'll
be
discussing
here.
Then,
the
the
sub
award,
if
you
will
sub
budget
amounts
for
the
the
under
the
opera
fund,
the
business
nonprofit,
as
well
as
an
uncovered
government
updates
on
the
running,
totals
for
those
as
well.
D
D
Highlights
well
it
all
breaks
down
into
the
you
know,
individual
stuff
that
we're
talking
about
you
know,
but
this
is
the
bigger
picture
of
the
totals,
so
I
think
you
know
a
lot
of
it.
So
what
we've
already
covered?
You
know
the
information
that
we've
discussed.
So
I
just
want
to
keep
everybody
at
speed.
So.
D
And
then
it
also
included
or
the
attachment
the
we
now
have,
the
final
rule,
not
the
interim
rule.
The
final
rule.
This
is
a
overview
of
that
gives
some
highlighted
changes
answers
the
final
rule.
D
I
know
it's
for
500
pages,
so
I'm
sure
you
don't
want
to
read
that
unless
you
want
something
to
put
you
to
sleep
at
night,
the
probably
the
one
biggest
change
for
us
from
the
interim
to
the
final
was
the
way
to
calculate
the
lost
revenue
and
they
they
added
or
you
could
do
a
one-time
allowance
or
standard
allowance
of
10
million,
or
you
can
do
individual
calculations
for
the
years
ending
20,
21,
22
and
23.
D
so
and
if
you
decide
to
do
that,
they
move
the
percentage
from
4.1
to
5.2
percent.
So
some
some
changes
in
the
in
the
way
it'll
be
calculated,
so
we're
reviewing
all
this
and
they
also
under
the
final
rule.
The
recipients
must
adjust
actual
revenue
totals
for
the
effect
of
tax
cuts
and
tax
increases,
they're
adopted
after
the
date
of
the
adoption
of
the
final
rule,
which
is
now
january,
6
2022.
So
we
do
have
to
take
an
effect.
D
A
D
Go
into
the
categories
all
the
way
through
we've
looked
through
this,
we
don't
see
a
lot
of
changes,
a
lot
more
clear.
Well,
not
a
lot
more
clarity,
more
clarity!
There's
still,
you
know,
there's
still
ideas.
You
know
that
people
come
up
with
that.
You
know
we're
trying
to
you
know,
look
through
now.
We
we
just
finished
this
past
week
filing
for
the
our
first
official
filing,
which
was
from
march
21
through
december
21
and
we'll
we'll
now
find
out
any
questions.
D
You
know
responses
things
of
that
nature,
so
that
might
help
with
some
clarity.
You
know
some
on
some
of
the
things
that
we've
been
doing,
but
we
feel
positive
on.
You
know
what
the
board,
what
we've,
what
we've
done
up
to
this
point
and
then
we'll
see
if
we
get
any
input
back
from
the
department
of
treasury
after
they,
you
know,
depending
on
how
they
review
the
filing.
You
know
what
they
do
with
that,
so
that
has
yet
to
be
determined.
D
So
just
information
for
you.
This
is
the
shortest
document
that
would,
I
can
provide
you
that
gives
as
much
information
gives
a
overview
of
of
what
the
final
rule
is
for
the
arpa
funds.
A
If
there
are
no
questions
at
this
point,
I'm
sure
that
mr
mccarty
would
be
available
either
individually
or
at
the
next
committee
meeting.
To
answer
questions
so
don't
hesitate
to
call
him
should
we
move
on.
D
To
the
individuals
yeah
the
individual,
so
we
have
lost
revenue
fund
applications.
First,
the
first
one
shoot
manufacturing
just
come
out
of
the
lost
revenue.
The
original
request
was
75
000
I
was
aware
of,
and
then
the
eligible
funding
is
20
000.
As
far
as
the
the
county
board.
D
For
the
project
I
know
this
is
a
project
road
project
to
support
economic
development.
So
how
to
chairman,
you
guys
want
to
further
discuss
this
or
not.
G
The
process
we
received
word
that
shoot
manufacturing
was
expanding,
their
business
and
they're
investing
10
million
dollars
into
their
facility
they're
going
to
be
hiring,
I
believe
it's
between
30
and
50,
full-time
employees,
permanent
jobs,
it's
a
new
warehousing
and
manufacturing
facility
and
during
the
course
of
this,
we
kind
of
realized
because
they're
not
in
the
city
they're
in
the
county,
and
they
have
township
roads
that
all
of
the
roads
in
that
area
out
there
I
would
say,
south
tech.
G
G
So
when
this
is
being
put
in,
the
township
told
them
that
they
had
to
build
a
road,
and
they
had
not
planned
for
that.
Obviously
so,
through
my
my
discussions
with
the
township,
I
got
involved
with
shupe
and
in
the
township
and
the
contractors,
and
we
came
to
an
agreement
that
you
know
this
is
an
economic
development
situation.
This
is
a
company,
that's
investing
in
creating
jobs
and
full-time
jobs
with
benefits.
You
know
we're
saying
you
know:
30
000
to
70
000
a
year
jobs,
the
gambit
in
there.
G
I
talked
with
a
few
of
the
board
members
to
see
the
to
kind
of
gauge
the
interest,
and
this
is
my
request
to
step
up
and
support
this
development
shupu's
investing
in
kankakee
county
and
the
employees
here
for
us
to
invest
in
the
road
that
will
serve
this
facility
with
the
trucks
coming
in
and
out
of
there
not
only
for
the
benefit
of
that
facility,
but
also
when
you
see
the
layout,
it
will
keep
the
trucks
out
of
the
area
of
the
other
factories
that
are
in
the
back
as
well.
G
So
this
is
this
is
something
I'm
bringing
to
the
board
and
the
reason
I
had.
I
asked
steve
to
put
the
20
000
down.
Usually
this.
This
is
not
a
transfer
to
another
unit
of
government
at
the
time
we
did
this
request.
G
So
this
is
not
just
us
and
troupe.
The
township
is
there
as
well,
but
we
all
came
together
to
to
help
support
this
investment
in
the
community.
So
that's
sorry
to
talk
about
it
in
such
a
a
lengthy
manner,
but
I
think
that
you
need
to
know
the
details
and
we
have
a
press
release.
That's
going
out
at
the
end
of
this.
If
the
the
board
approves
it,
so
this
is
under
construction
already
out
there.
This
is
just
the
road
to
support
that
facility.
Industrial
drive.
E
Mr
hunter
motioned
and
I
gotta
I'll
make
the
motion
to
approve,
but
I
got
one
question,
mr
chairman:
let
me
get
a
second.
G
E
J
G
A
C
I
D
So
this
is
for
lost
revenue
for
10
961.21,
and
I
promise
this
is
the
last
one.
There
will
be.
Everything
will
be
replaced
completely
after
this
one.
A
Mr
long
motion
to
approve
ms
parker
a
second
any
questions,
discussion.
A
B
C
D
Yeah,
the
next
one
is
request
from
the
county
clerk
for
a
permanent
outdoor
ballot
box.
It
says
camera,
but
all
I
had
was
for
the
actual
box,
so
we
might
have
to
do
the
camera
separate.
A
If
I
might,
I've
had
some
discussion
with
the
clerk
and
he
was
working
with
with
sandra's
in
terms
of
the
camera,
so
he
wasn't
sure
where
that
was
at
okay.
I
think
there
will
be
a
separate.
There
will
be
a
separate.
D
Okay,
I
just
wanted
to
clarify
that,
because
the
dollar
amount
was
for
the
box
and
then
that's
included.
So
three
thousand
three
hundred
forty
seven
dollars
for
the
lost
to
be
applied
to
the
lost
revenue
fund
for
the
dropbox
and
for
mail
and.
A
E
D
So
never
this
is
direct.
Arpa
funding
for
small
business
advantage
copying
equipment
kankakee
under
the
2.9
code.
Their
request
was
10
000
they're
eligible
for
3101.
G
The
does
the
50
reduction
is
that
reflected
in
the
3101
number.
Yes,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
we're
looking
at
these
the
same
okay.
C
C
D
B
A
C
C
E
D
New
beginnings
for
cats,
this
would
be
under
non-for-profit
funding.
The
request
was
37
290,
the
eligible
funding,
7
772
dollars.
E
Yeah
refresh
my
memory
in
terms
of
what
the
overall
investment
in
this
in
this
project,
if
I'm
thinking
about
the
same
one,
is
it.
E
A
A
B
A
D
Shuttle
next
one
two
rivers
supply
located
in
bradley
would
be
under
code
2.9
for
small
business.
They
did
meet
the
10
000
cap
with
the
50
reduction,
their
eligible
ability,
5
000.
A
C
D
For
the
county
clerk
we
put
this
under
1.8,
the
the
new
election
machines
went
under
lost
revenue,
but
this
is
remote
training
for
election
judges
with
three
years
of
support,
so
we
felt
that
we
feel
that
it'll
would
be
able
to
be
applied
to
direct
darpa
because
of
remote
training
and
distancing,
so
the
eligible
funding
71
46.88.
A
G
This
is
for
the
replacement
for
the
current
training
system,
the
online
platform
that
we
have
right
now,
which
I
believe
our
maintenance
fee
is,
I
want
to
say
around
15
000
a
year
right
now
for
all
the
updates.
You
know
new
election
stuff
that
comes
out
so
there's
a
maintenance
fee
with
a
lot
of
these
programs.
G
This
included
in
this
amount
is
the
maintenance
through
2025
as
well.
We
can
do
that
with
the
harpa
money,
so
this
is,
it
may
seem
like
a
lot,
but
it's
basically
an
update
to
the
the
program
that
we
use
and
then
the
maintenance
fee
that
we're
already
going
to
have
to
pay
anyway
through
that
time,
but
we're
able
to
use
the
arpa
proper
money
instead
of
the
general
fund
to
pay
for
it.
G
K
Is
is
this
interactive
platform
for
the
election?
Judges,
do
we
know,
or
let
me
take
a
look.
G
C
K
K
L
The
training
is
election
specific,
so
the
company
that
we
have
doing
this
they've
done
it
for
many
years.
So
they
know
they
have
to
have
so
many
hours
of
they
have
to
have
like
three
hours
of
training
to
get
certified
as
an
election
judge,
and
so
the
company
that
we're
using
is
able
to
implement
the
requirements
that
are
needed
for
the
training
and.
L
Not
to
my
knowledge,
not
as
far
as
election
specific
as
this,
they
also
do
other
election
duties
for
us.
This
company.
A
Is
it
fair
to
say,
is
this
a
fair
comment?
I
know
one
person
is
an
election
judge
and
was
really
it's
hard
to
get
election
judges.
Yes,
it
is.
This
person
was
really
grateful
that
they
could
do
this
kind
of
training,
remote,
so
yeah,
a
lot
of
them
like
make
it
easier
for
us
to
recruit,
trim
judges,
which
is
a
real
challenge.
I
B
A
C
A
D
This
cap
of
what
what's
going
on
we're
in
the
beginning
stages
of
preparing
for
the
audit,
we're
in
the
in
the
year
and
close
sending
out
1099
text,
forms
so
very
busy
time
internally.
But
if
anybody
has
any
questions
feel
free
to
reach
out
on
any
any
information
that
you
know.
You
have
a
question
about.
So
just
stay
warm.
A
And
we
have
the
report
in
the
packet.
Is
there
a
motion
to
combine
and
improve?
Mr
long?
Second,
mr
lee,
any
questions
on
the
motion
hearing.
None
all
in
favor,
say
aye.
M
Hope,
everybody's
staying
warm
two
things
today,
one
I
wanted
to
bring
it
to
this
committee's
attention
that
that
we
experience
fraud
on
our
checking
account
and
thankfully
we
have
instituted
all
the
security
procedures
that
the
bank
recommends.
M
We
use
a
system
called
positive
pay,
so
the
bank
knows
when
we
send
checks
out
that
we've
written
the
bank
gets
the
same
file
to
so
that
they
they
won't
clear,
a
check
that
isn't
part
of
the
file
we've
written,
so
it
has
to
be.
It
has
to
be
on
that
file
and
we
instituted
that
about
a
year
and
a
half
ago.
M
Fortunately,
for
us,
the
fraud
was
bad
endorsements
through
chase
bank,
so
chase
will
eventually
pay
this
money
back.
So
we
have
no
liability,
but
it
was
52
000,
I
think
maybe
eight
checks,
the
u.s
postal
service
is
investigating
because
it
came
through.
The
mail
was
written
to
a
tax
buyer.
So,
but
I
wanted
to
bring
everybody
bring
it
to
your
attention.
M
It
would
have
no
impact
on
us
at
all,
because
we
did
everything
we're
supposed
to
do,
but
it
remains
out
there
and
apparently
you
know
this
is
just
part
of
doing
business
for
banks
now.
So
as
long
as
we
keep
our
eyes
dotted
and
our
t's
crossed
we're
fine.
M
The
other
thing
I
wanted
to
mention
is
really
good
news:
the
program
that
we
call
choices,
which
is
just
an
opportunity
for
you
to
pay
your
taxes
early.
You
can
prepay
them
mail,
online,
partial
payments.
However,
you
want
to
do
it.
M
We
have
so
far
had
hundreds
of
payments
already
for
this
tax
year,
so
it's
clearly
something
that
the
people
are
using
to
help
mitigate
the
cost
of
their
taxes.
So
we're
pretty
happy
about
that
other
than
that.
That's
all
I
have
at
this
point.
If
anybody
would
have
any
questions,
I'd
certainly
entertain
them.
A
N
Go
ahead,
okay,
so
the
monthly
update
a
couple
things
from
a
from
a
finance
standpoint.
I
guess,
if
you
notice
the
number
or
the
increased
revenue
in
housing
this
december
compared
to
last
december,
was
increased
by
4
350,
not
a
lot
of
money.
N
But
as
we've
seen
most
of
the
year,
those
revenues
have
been
declining
pretty
steadily,
so
that's
somewhat
good
news.
We
hope
that
that
continues
and
I
will
I
will
address
the
the
ice
issue
later.
N
Yeah,
okay,
so
yeah
we've
been
dealing
like
everybody
else,
like
our
society
as
a
whole,
we've
been
dealing
with
covet
issues
at
the
jail
and
with
our
staff.
N
Fortunately,
everything
that
we've
dealt
with
from
a
coveted
standpoint
has
been
mild
for
both
the
inmates
and
the
staff,
and
that's
not
only
inmates
and
correctional
officers.
It's
also
deputies,
so
I
mean
this
covid.
The
omicron
is
obviously
affecting
everybody
at
some
point,
but
with
that
will
create
some
overtime
due
to
covid,
because
obviously
there
are
some
regulations
that
when
they
can
work
and
when
they
can't
so,
we
are
certainly
dealing
with
that.
N
N
There
is
a.
I
know
that
the
sheriff
sometimes
get
a
lot
of
criticism,
because
we
get
accused
of
opposing
everything,
and
I
will
just
tell
you
that
this
is
the
pile
of
bills
that
the
sheriff's
oppose,
and
this
is
the
pile
of
bills
that
the
sheriff's
support
so
there's
a
large
number
of
bills
in
springfield
that
the
sheriffs
are
behind
smaller
number.
But
I
can
give
you
just
to
give
you
an
idea
of
what
we're
dealing
with
representative
lashawn
ford,
who
is
a
who
is
one
of
the
authors
of
3653.
N
One
of
the
bills
that
we
obviously
oppose
is
the
safer
consumption
service,
which
is
basically
a
heroin
house
to
allow
people
to
go
use
heroin,
and
you
know
so.
Those
are
things
that
we're
opposed
to
and
then
there's
other
things
that
you
know
some
of
the
things
that
we
support.
N
One
of
them
is
house
bill
4190,
which
is
if
an
individual
who
is
arrested
on
a
gun
charge
pleads
guilty
to
a
lesser
charge.
The
state's
attorney
would
be
required
to
submit
in
writing.
Why
and
what
the
facts
were
as
to
why
those
charges
were
reduced.
Obviously,
guns
in
our
in
our
community
is
a
big
issue
right
now.
It's
it's
big
everywhere.
N
So
those
are
things
that
you
know.
If,
if
they're
going
to
reduce
those
charges,
then
it
should
probably
be
documented
as
to
why
so
those
are
things
just
an
idea
of
what
we're
of
what
we're
dealing
with
that's
all
I
got
on
that
end.
N
N
So
to
to
improve
our
technology
to
update
our
technology,
obviously
is
a
significant
cost,
it
will
be.
It
will
get
that
room
zoom
ready,
which
I
know
is
a
question
that
we've
had
since
we've
started.
Zoom
meetings
and
the
eoc
is
utilized
for
more
than
just
emergencies.
N
Thankfully,
there's
not
a
large
number
of
emergencies
that
we
have
to
deal
with,
but
we
do
use
that
room,
I
probably
wouldn't
say
daily,
but
we
use
it.
I
know
multiple
times
every
week
for
different
things,
so
that
room
does
get
utilized
and
if
you
look
on
the
I
broke
the
cost
down
by
by
subject
basically-
and
the
biggest
issue
is
the
crestron
up
upgrade
crestron
is
a
proprietary
system,
so
we
have
a.
N
I
have
an
email
here
from
the
terry
gowdy
from
the
state's
attorney's
office
indicating
that
it
is
not
required
to
go
to
bid
and
the
other
things
on
there.
The
tvs,
the
installation,
the
painting
and,
as
mr
featherling
accurately
pointed
out,
chairs
40
for
the
eoc
and
35
for
the
county
boardroom
for
a
total
of
86
204.
G
Could
we
make
it
a
not
to
exceed
because
we
would
like
to
probably
see
the
chairs
that
were
being
pitched
and
if
we
go
with
those
we
have
the
price.
And
if
it's
something
else,
then
we
know
what
that
that
top
end.
We
we
may
not
want
the
same
style
as
the
sheriff
is
suggesting.
I
would.
H
N
D
E
Mr
hunter,
just
a
little
testimony,
I
I
do
attend
meetings
at
the
eeoc
facility
and
I
think
it
was
several
weeks
ago
at
the
naacp
in
law
enforcement
meeting
and
it
seems
like
every
time
I
come
there.
There's
you
know,
there's
a
problem
with
with
chairs
almost
fell
out
of
the
chair
and
not
that
I'm
looking
to
file
suit
or
anything
but.
N
And
we
went
through
and
there's
probably
about
half
the
chairs
in
there
that
have
an
issue
one
way
or
the
other,
and
again
it's
normal,
wear
and
tear.
I
mean
it's
been
a
that
room
is
when
we
opened
that
room
back
in
2006.
N
H
A
K
I'm
supportive
of
upgrading
the
eoc,
but
with
the
chairs
for
the
county
board
plumped
in
with
this
I'll,
have
to
be
a
no.
B
A
C
N
N
N
N
N
N
The
next
one
has
possession
of
stolen
vehicles
multiple,
as
well
as
theft,
the
tenth
one
has
dui
mult,
multiple
duis
drugs
and
domestic
battery,
and
then
the
last
one
is
the
only
one
that
we
have
that
is
considered
in
this
country
illegally
and
remember
when,
when
you
are
in
our
country
illegally,
if
you
are
deported
and
you
come
back,
that
becomes
a
felony.
N
So
these
are
the
individuals
that
all
these
groups
out
there
want
released
back
into
our
communities,
and
I
I
you
know
I
have
you
know,
obviously
my
own
personal
feelings
about
keeping
our
community
safe.
N
These
groups
out
there
they're
advocating
for
these
immigrants
who
have
committed
multiple
felonies,
including
hurting
kids
and
murder,
and
domestic
batteries
and
everything
else
they
want
release.
That's
that's
the
mentality,
we're
dealing
with
so
just
fyi.
N
They
deal
with
ice,
so
every
every
decision
isn't
the
sheriff's
decision
where
these
guys
go
it's
ice's
decision.
So
it's
not
it's
not
something
that
you
know
once
they
leave
our
facility,
it's
up
to
ice
as
to
where
they
go.
So
would.
N
N
So
that's
what
we're
dealing
with
so
and
to
answer
your
question,
mr
featherling.
N
Yeah,
it's
it's
in
there.
It's
like,
I
said
it's
the
yesterday.
Sometimes
immigrant
justice
classes
certainly
help.
N
E
N
You
know
the
thing
I've
learned
over
the
past
five
and
a
half
years
of
housing
for
ice
is
that
talking
to
these
people
about
illegal
immigration
is
like
talking
to
that
door,
handle
they
don't
care,
they
they
have
a
feeling,
and
everybody
has
their
own
feelings
on
people
and
and
they
choose
that
everybody
should
be
free
and
everybody
should
be
able
to
come
into
our
country
when
they
want-
and
that's
certainly,
I
guess
their
opinion
we're
all
entitled
to
one.
So
it's
talking
to
them
is,
like
you
know,
beating
a
dead
horse.
N
O
Thank
you,
mr
chairman.
Is
there
not
also
a
house
bill
out
there?
That's
in
favor
of
canceling
out
the
3653
there.
N
4497,
I
think,
but
let
me
clarify
that
yeah,
it's
a
it's
a
repeal
of
30cf
4497
house
bill
4497,
it's
it's
a
to
repeal
36.53,
but
it
the
likelihood
of
that
passing
is
slim
done
and
there.
O
Is
a
place
where
you
can
sign
up
to
kind
of
yeah.
N
You
can
go,
you
can
go,
fill
out
a
witness
slip,
but
I
don't
think
they
pay
attention
to
those.
