Hi
I'm
Kathy
Barry
registered
dietitian
with
a
fountain
of
health.
Everyone
loves
to
grill
in
Kansas
City
in
the
summertime
and
today
on
time
to
be
well.
We've
got
two
great
recipes
for
you:
a
grilled
shrimp,
kabob
and
a
grilled
pineapple.
Also,
we
have
a
celebrity
guest
from
the
top
floor
of
City
Hall,
so
stay
right.
There.
A

A
And
these
are
our
ingredients.
We've
got
some
nice.
These
are
about
16
20
count
shrimp
and
all
that
means
is
that
there
are
16
to
20
in
the
pound,
so
eat.
Shrimp
is
about
a
half
an
ounce.
We've
got
some
tomatoes
and
some
onions
and
some
of
these
sweet
little
baby
peppers.
I
love
these.
You
get
them
in
a
bag,
they're
just
great
and
some
fresh
mushrooms.
So
let's
just
kebab
these
up
and
then
we'll
drizzle
that
marinade
on
the
top
of
it
and
we'll
start
grilling.

Hi,
my
name
is

and
I'm.
A
fitness
specialist
over
here
at
fitness
source
for
this
exercise,
you'll
need
a
band,
a
resistance
band
and
we're
going
to
do
what's
called
lat
pulldowns
with
the
band
so
you're
going
to
put
your
hands
through
your
handles
and
you're,
going
to
start
with
your
hands
toward
the
middle
of
the
band
and
the
harder
you
want
it.
The
Closer
your
hands
are
going
to
be
to
the
middle.
D
This
next
exercise
doesn't
require
any
equipment
whatsoever.
All
you
need
is
a
nice
flat
surface
and
enough
room
for
you
to
lift
your
legs,
we're
going
to
start
off
by
having
all
fours
on
the
ground.
You
want
to
make
sure
that
your
hands
are
directly
under
your
shoulders
and
that
you
have
a
nice
neutral
spine.
So
a
straight
line
from
your
head
all
the
way
down
your
body
you're,
going
to
stick
out
your
right
leg,
first
and
pulse
it
for
30
seconds,
really
making
sure
you're
not
dipping
that
spine
or
really
arching
it
up.
A
A
A
A
B
A
A
B
A
A
It
depends
upon
what
the
bees
were.
You
know
getting
their
pollen
from
to
tell
you
the
truth,
but
I
do
know
that
the
raw
honey
has
some
good
more.
You
know
more
goodness
to
it,
and
you
know
I
know
that
all
of
this,
it's
not
that
we
don't
have
a
whole
bunch
of
really
good
scientific
evidence,
but
it's
very
very
close
to
the
earth.
It's
local.
A
B
You
know
growing
up
in
the
Midwest
and
Iowa
in
particular,
we
great
we've
drilled
a
lot
of
meat,
chicken
beef
farm,
I'm
curious.
You
know,
I
grew
up
on
steak
and
pork
and
those
kind
of
issues,
but
I
noticed
we're
grilling,
shrimp
and
I've
cooked
some
fish.
But
is
there
a
reason
why
we
should
be
eating
more
of
the
sea
foods
as
opposed
to
the
old
Kansas
City
strips,
which
I
grew
up
on
and
still
love
that.
A
Is
a
great
question
and
you
are
absolutely
right:
we
dude
grill
a
lot
of
red
meat
in
this
part
of
the
country
and
red
meat
has
got
some
some
peculiarities
about
it.
That
sometimes
aren't
very
good
for
us
when
we
eat
it
too
often
and
too
much
and
there's
a
lot
of
link
with
heart,
disease,
diabetes
and
some
cancers.
A
Shrimp,
on
the
other
hand,
is
very,
very
healthy
for
us
in
terms
of
that
omega-3
fatty
acids,
and
also
just
how
healthy
it
is,
how
lean
it
is,
and
so
that's
why
you
know
it's
always
good
to
try
to
have
more
fish
and
more
poultry
in
your
diet
and
perhaps
some
less
red
meat
and
we
grill
an
awful
lot
of
red
meat
in
this
part
of
the
country.
So
I
just
thought
it
would
be
fun
to
up
the
healthy
ante
and
make
some
beautiful
shrimp.
Kabobs
now.
C
A
C
A
There
you
go,
and
this
is
just
a
you
know:
it's
not
to
say
that
you
can
never
have
pulled
pork
or
a
ribeye
steak
or
those
things
that
we
love
here.
But
this
is
just
something
add
a
little
variety
to
your
life.
Add
a
little
more
nutrition
add
a
little
bit
more
omega-3
and
you
cannot
get
enough
fruits
and
veggies.
It.
B
Looks
good,
it
really
looks
good
I
tell
you
we,
you
know,
I
keep
coming
back
to
the
I,
keep
harping
on
the
same
issue,
but
this
looks
like
one
good
one,
good
meal
that
we're
cooking
up
and
you
know
one
we've
been
preaching
citizen
satisfaction
at
city
hall,
so
I
tell
you,
there's
one
satisfied
citizens
looking
forward
to
this
dinner
right
now.
Well,.
A
B
A
C
C
B
A
B
A
A
B
B
A
That's
11,
yes,
you
can
and
healthy
food
is
delicious
I
think
sometimes
people
think
that
if
you
eat
healthy,
it's
not
going
to
taste
very
good
and
I'll.
Tell
you
what
healthy
food
is
absolutely
spectacular
tasting.
So,
let's
drizzle
a
little
bit
of
that
dark
rum
on
top
of
that
pineapple
yeah,
that's
a
saturday
night
right
there
and
you
can
pop
a
little
lemon
zest
on
it.
If
you
want
to
okay.
B
A
A
C
So
much
fun
today,
what
a
healthy
grilling
experience,
pineapple
and
grilled
shrimp,
those
were
delicious
and
a
wonderful
summer
time.
Food
I
am
really
looking
forward
to
delivering
wellness
programs
to
the
city
of
Kansas.
City
I've
had
a
great
time
coming
on
board
and
I
really
look
forward
to
the
future.
It's
looking
bright,
we'll
see
you
out
there.
