From YouTube: The Weekly Report - July 28th, 2022
Description
The Weekly Report provides news and insight about Kansas City, MO programs and services provided by City departments.
It's time to get ready for the kiddos to head back to school. Make sure to stop by the KCMO Health Department if they need immunizations. All Missouri residents are eligible for the sales tax holiday from August 5th to August 7th. Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw and KC Chiefs defensive end have teamed up to help children and their parents prepare for the school year with Operation Backpack.

Now,
before
the
back

don't

Go
another
year
you
know
without
helping
out
for
the
cause.
You
know
for
the
city
of
kansas
city,
we're
going
to
be
able
to
help,
give
away
tablets
we're
going
to
give
away
a
lot
of
school
supply
book
bags.
So
please
get
there
early
august
6
11
a.m.
Please
please!
Please,
please
get
out
there
early.
We
know
how
I
go.
You
know
it'll
be
book
lines
like
she
said
we're
giving
away
tablets
y'all
seven
months
of
subscription,
seven
months
of
internet.
You
know
seven
months
of
data,
so
you
can.
F
D
In
1860s,
apparently,
the
city
and
jackson
county
used
to
play
against
each
other,
which
was
a
tradition
for
many
years.
It's
about
the
spirit
of
the
negro
leagues
and
they
always
bridge
gaps.
Today
is
you
know?
It's
obviously
no
question
that
city
leaders
from
jackson,
county
to
kansas
city
hall,
are
all
together
playing
in
honor
of
the
negro
league's
baseball
museum
anytime.
People
give
across
the
country
always
supports
our
educational
outreach
programs,
new
exhibits,
the
buccaneer
education
and
research
center,
seeing
people
come
out
today
and
how
everybody's
really
like?
D
Oh
my
gosh,
this
used
to
be
a
tradition
between
the
city
of
jackson,
county
people
are
going
to
continue
to
bring
this
to
life,
and
so
there's
already
conversations
about
wyandotte
county.
You
know
like
leaving
getting
other
city
leaders
across
our
region
to
participate
and
then
spectators
right,
like
the
museum
still
has
community
partners.
We
still
have
community
supporters
that
reside
in
this
community
and
across
kansas
city.
It
was
over
17
000
that
was
raised
from
this
event,
and
so
those
funds
will
go
directly
to
support
the
needs
of
the
museum.
