C
C
D
E
Welcome
you
all
I
think
this
is
going
to
be
a
very,
very
fine
asset
for
the
6th
district
in
the
southern
part
of
Kansas
City
I'm
from
the
Northland
I
sometimes
feel
we
get
neglected,
but
I
know
John
and
Scott
know
exactly
how
I
feel,
but
it's
good
to
see
something
happening
with
this
and
longview
road
in
the
new
grocery
store.
I
think
everything
is
going
to
be
going
up
and
upward
and
onward,
and
with
that
I'm
going
to
turn
it
over
I
think
John.
You
want
to
make.
F
Okay,
thank
you.
Thank
you,
Dave.
Thank
you,
Mark,
it's
great
to
be
here.
This
has
been
a
great
asset
to
South
Kansas,
City
I,
remember
when
the
ymca
closed
and
the
city
took
it
over
and
in
the
city
pledge
at
that
time.
Oh,
don't
worry
we're
going
to
do
something
with
it
and
what
they
did
with
it.
For
several
years
was
let
the
grass
grow,
but
then
we
were
able
to
get
a
master
planning
effort
together.
F
They
don't
even
have
one
of
these
oceans
of
fun.
They've
got
one
inch
schlitterbahn
they're
over
in
Western
Wyandotte
County,
but
this
is
a
great
attraction.
Now
we've
had
a
lot
of
people
come
here,
the
last
two
summers
and
that
over
30,000
people
come
here
both
of
the
last
two
summers,
but
this
is
going
to
have
people
flocking
to
it,
paying
customers
and
will
help
make
this
a
money
generator
for
the
system.
I
talked
to
the
mayor
of
Wyandotte
County
and
Kansas
City
Kansas.
He
lives
by
their
water
park.
F
He
goes
there
all
the
time
he
says,
there's
always
a
line
waiting
to
use
it.
So
this
will
be
a
great
asset
coupled
with
the
improvements
longview
road,
which
is,
which
is
also
a
big
help
for
this
area
and
will
help
people
get
here
safely
by
walking
on
sidewalks.
For
because
for
as
long
as
I
can
remember,
people
had
to
walk
either
in
the
ditch
or
in
the
mud
or
out
in
the
middle
of
the
street.
Now
they've
got
sidewalks
to
walk
on
now.
We've
got
bike
lanes.
It
really
has
enhanced
the
area
we've.
G
Had
remember
being
here
a
few
years
ago,
my
son
was
about
this
tall
at
the
spray
park,
opening
when
it
was
just
a
little
spray
park
and
with
leadership
of
the
parks
board,
we
really
have
a
great
park.
Sport
right
now
and
I'm
really
proud
of
the
work.
They're
doing
is
they're
really
working
together,
detail-oriented
and
there
you
can
see
from
the
product
here.
The
thought
that's
gone
into
this
along
with
our
our
parks
department
is
outstanding.
I
mean
everybody
really
is
dedicated
to
making
this
a
good
product
for
our
citizens.
G
This
is
one
of
the
best
water
parks
in
the
Midwest.
Now,
with
the
addition
of
this
ride,
so
I
would
encourage
all
families,
not
only
in
South
Kansas
City,
but
our
surrounding
communities
to
come
out.
Try
it
out
visit.
If
you
haven't
been
here,
but
it's
a
safe
environment.
Everything
is
new
and
we
have
an
attraction
that
we
only
have
on
this
side
of
the
state
line
and
one
of
only
I
think
too
to
in
the
state
of
Missouri.
One
of
them
is
right
here
in
South
Kansas
City,
so
we
should
be
proud
of
that.
G
I
want
to
thank
everybody
else,
that's
here,
and
just
really
it's
an
exciting
time
after
the
eight
million
dollar
announcement
on
Longview
last
week.
This
is
a
pretty
significant
investment
of
several
hundred
thousand
dollars,
if
not
over
a
million,
in
addition
to
millions
of
dollars
that
we
spent
on
this
facility
encourage
your
friends
to
come
out,
and
let's
get
more
people
out
here,
make
this
just
a
wonderful
place
to
go
for
years
to
come.
Thank
you.
D
The
real
show
of
the
star
of
the
show
the
flowrider
or
the
the
bay
rider,
and
I
believe
we
do
a
countdown-
I
also
been
told
it
takes
a
little
while
for
the
pumps
to
get
the
water
movement.
So
I'm
going
to
count
down
from
ten
and
we're
all
going
to
clap
when
the
water
comes
we're
going
to
go.
