Troost
Avenue
remains
a
boundary
of
sorts
dividing,
east
and
west
white
and
black
richer
and
poorer,
healthier
and
less
healthy.
These
inequalities
have
led
to
a
decrease
in
life
expectancy
in
some
zip
codes
of
the
city,
but
in
recent
years
people
from
all
sectors,
government,
business,
healthcare
and
grassroots
groups
have
come
together
to
make
their
City
healthier
for
everyone,
by
focusing
on
initiatives
that
foster
economic
dignity,
prevent
violence
and
support
quality
education
for
all
on.

Members
of
the
community
can
get
done.
We
are
organized
and
fight
together,
communities
creating
opportunity.
Cco
is
physically
located
in
the
Kansas
City
Missouri
Health
Department.
The
issue
of
income
is
so
linked
to
how
long
people
live
and
and
how
well
people
live,
and
so
we
are
able
to
to
connect
both
public
health
and
community
engagement
to
be
able
to
create
the
scale
of
change
that
is
necessary
to
transform
lives.
So
what
are
the
kind
of
key
next

What's
the
status
of
this
they've
making
funeral
arrangements
for
the
victim
the
violence
interrupted
his
his
or
her
duty
is
to
begin
to
engage
that
family.
Give
them
alternatives
by
time.
Gotta
address
the
whole
family
to
make
sure
there's
no
more
shooting
it's
like
we're.
The
referees
of
the
community
I
think
we've
contributed
to
a
culture
ship
and
a
norms
in
the
neighborhoods
that
we
working
with.
We
have
people
thinking
differently
now.

Q
Senior
citizens
are
prime
targets
for
all
types
of
fraudulent
schemes.
The
Kansas
City
Missouri
Police
Department
offers
all
kinds
of
crime
prevention
tips,
but
it
can
be
difficult
for
the
elderly
and
disabled
to
get
access
to
that
information.
Members
of
KCPD
are
taking
this
show
on
the
road
and
educating
seniors
where
they
live
on
ways
to
avoid
becoming
the
victim
of
a
scam.
R
A
year
you're
going
to
start
getting
all
the
government
documents
all
the
returns
and
everything
that
says
you,
social
security
income,
that
kind
of
stuff
lock
it
away
give
it
with
that
trusted
family
member.
That's
going
to
help!
You
take
care
of
your
legal
stuff,
the
first
of
the
year,
because
if
it
gets
lost,
if
it
gets
lost
in
or
mixed
it
with
somebody
else's
information,
what
you
can
run
into
is
that
information
being
used
by
somebody
else.
Q
S
Of
the
very
important
part
information
that
came
forth
was,
and
a
lot
of
our
residents
are
hearing
their
social
security
cards
around
and
it's
so
unnecessary
and
that
it
opens
up
the
door
to
identity
theft.
So
I
think
that
was
very,
very
important
and
just
to
know
that
there's
their
systems
couldn't
play
the
welfare
of
all
of
us.
S
Q
T
Important
we
provide
this
information
to
the
seniors,
hopefully
to
prevent
them
from
becoming
victims
and
another
piece
of
this
if
they
already
become
a
victim
and
they're
ashamed
of
it.
Now
they
have
a
little
more
intimate
relationship
with
us
where
they
can
share
with
versus,
do
not
know,
and
we
are
yes
again
again.
It's
so
important
for
them
to
know
who
we
are
now
is
not
just
the
police,
this
office
or
so
on,
so
we're
commander
so
on
so
or
chief
Forte
or
something
now
they
feel
like.
T
U
Q
A
First,
new
streetcar
has
arrived
and
it
still
has
that
new
car
smell
don't
be
surprised.
If
you
see
this
free
car
running
downtown,
but
with
no
passengers,
the
testing
phase
has
just
started.
Each
car
must
travel
for
hundreds
of
miles
at
various
speeds
to
test
all
operational
aspects
of
the
vehicle,
as
well
as
the
load
on
the
electrical
wires
that
power
the
vehicles
downtown.
